I’ve always loved fireworks. I grew up in and still live in Southern California where all fireworks are illegal. A couple of our neighboring cities have safe and sane fireworks legal during 4th of July but that’s it. So growing up, fireworks always had that forbidden fruit feeling to them so it made it that much more awesome as a kid when you could get some firecrackers, bottle rockets, or especially M80s. Typically they were being brought back from Mexico either from Tijuana or Rosarito. So the m80s I grew up with were the super sketchy Mexican m80s with the unpredictable fuse. When I got a little older, around 13, a little bit after my parents got divorced, a lady from Washington that my dad was dating picked up a bag of some real 9/16” x 1 1/2” American m80s from an Indian reservation and mailed them to my dad who gave the bag of about 15 to me. When he handed them to me one summer day I was in actual heaven, and they were waterproof so I could throw them in the pools by my house. Wish I had held onto at least one. I didn’t even know at the time that they were actually m80s, I thought they were half an m80 cuz the Mexican m80s I was used to were two or three times the size length wise. Then when I was 18 I would go down to Mexico and buy fireworks and light them on the beach in Rosarito. Plus there were a couple times where I flew out to Texas to pick my older sister up from college and drive her home for the summer, then once summer ended I drove her back out to Texas and and would fly back. Each time I would make sure to stop at the fireworks stands in New Mexico and would either drive them back or ship them back to my house. When I got to my mid 20s I would drive out 4 hours to Nevada right across the border and stop in Pahrump and load up my car with fireworks and drive 4 hours back to have fireworks for 4th of July and to have for the rest of the year. Anyways, I still love fireworks and m80s etc to this day, and am turning 38 in a couple of days but any time I can light some m80s or firecrackers it makes me feel like a kid again. I just recently started really getting back into pyro, trying to collect various firecrackers from past years as well as accumulate as much of the good stuff as I possibly can. It’s been a fun process finding different connections across the US.
These are modern, not the overloaded originals you're probably referring to. These are honestly crap in comparison. Unfortunately ✌️ the originals and all their earlier sister labels never had a hollow cavity, a dead giveaway. There are worth around 2 dollars a pack and have no collectible value, in my opinion simply because of their deception vs. the popular early discontinued banned versions
China makes good fireworks. Someone cheaped out on these and used some old rocket tubes or something but they’re still plenty loud and definitely worth picking up if you can find some at a decent price
Those are the 23 version, they brought them back last year. You can tell the difference because the new ones like you have here have that empty space on the bottom and no pink tissue around the fuse.
I see 2015 right on the package my pyro bro! Very nice! 😎 Edit: The Google translate app when you activate the camera and point it at the Chinese writing it will translate it for you on your screen. Edit #2 The 2013-2015 dates say "implementation standards" Then there's a safety production license date of 2019, which is probably the closest to the actual production date. Got this from screenshoting the back of the package and using the Google translator app to turn the Chinese into English, you select "Chinese simplified" to do it.
Fireworks never get old if you love them as a kid you love them as an adult it’s an addiction happy new year.
Happy new year buddy
Subbed your channel 👍

Thanks for your opinion
@bigboyfireworks wish it was better news👍 regardless. I enjoy your channel
China doing what China does lol crap

@@bigboyfireworks id 100% believe that especially if you look at the bottom theres a little fuse hole in the eroded plug lol
The first crazy robot I ever seen was very early 2000 and it would crackle for 2 minutes before it exploded
Those sound interesting

Here I thought they were older cause the packaging is falling apart

Dude. Thank you 👌
@Arkansaspyrotechnics
For sure. Used to live in Izard County by the way. Keep painting the sky pyro! 😎
Anything before 2018 is bad ass
You should ask bret from light of the world fireworks he's the king of firecrackers 🧨 💥
Man that’s a great idea. I love that guy’s channel
These are new they came in 2023 red label ones are older and there is a older euro blue label ones too
Them things been in quarantine from alphabet boys for quite sometime lol..ifykyk
😂
Was nice when kids were able to play like that. Now if you try to let your kids have fun somebody always tries to ruin it
I know, and I’m doing the best I can to give my kids the same level of fun and freedom I had when I was a kid
I got the same Robots as you, I havent actually tried any yet but holy shit, these ones specifically have bad build quality fr lol, lil sketchy.
Agreed
@@bigboyfireworks what would you compare these ones to, I haven’t been able to light mine up yet and I’m debating getting more.
Beautiful case.
Thanks buddy
A little bit of math here what's in between two and a half and 3-in . Gee maybe two and three-quarter inches😂😂😂
Leave me alone. I was homeschooled 🙃 😂
Need your info

Pull out your phone, use the translate app, then point your phone at the Chinese writing and it will translate it instantly on your screen.
Thank you
It says right on the box!
Which number?
@Arkansaspyrotechnics should be top right corner of the case box. Whatever the last 2 numbers are is what year the case was made
@@412pyro Yeah man this was purchased as a case but in another box. Do you know if any of the numbers on the packaging are useful?
@Arkansaspyrotechnics oh ok that's weird but I don't know for sure. If I had to guess it's either that 2015 or 2013 you seen but don't know for sure
Need a few trays 😊
Haha. C’mon over to AR and let’s trade
Test one out for us .
I’ll get on that this weekend 👍
Are you going to demo porky?
2023
Thanks. That’s what everyone is saying. Lit more of these yesterday. These aren’t bad crackers. Big plug but they’re loud
