When i was a kid these were M100's we called Quater-Sticks M1000s which is wayyyyyy bigger!!! Which resemble a quatrr stick of dynamite... we had illegal M5000 Full Sticks of dynamite which we would knock down trees in the woods with.. while they didnt REALLY contain nitroglycerin like REAL dynamite they would contain 4F powder which is very explosive...
