    Would probably of been thicker, but got your math wrong. You took 30% of 50 then added it to the 50. It would be 30 percent of the 50 to get 15 oz for glycerin, then the other 35oz is water. If you wanted to do the full 65oz it would be about 20oz of glycerin, and 45oz water. Sorry, just bugged me, and answers another comment about it not being thick enough.

    well that is home made cost effective saving since most of what I pre brought was mostly still water in the container. Okay I'm making my own. thanks. ... edit: I just double checked it be better I still buy the fog liquid. Sill water at 9 liters almost £10 and the glycerine liquid £9.00 for 1 liter is almost the same as fog fluid £17 for 5 liters and I have two of them and I'm pleased it last 45 mins when filling the conditioner up for the fog effect.

      @@GreggAdventure well not all store stuff is good. if you use an expensive machine withy special fluid it will do much better.
      some fog machines cost 7k and there are lots of fluids and machines out there. but use maybe yours is better then the Walmart stuff or something like that, but it looks much thinner then the stuff im used to.
      i mean no disrespect to you, i love home made stuff and this would be great for the average person or maybe even some like haunted house stuff .
      its like vape juice any one can make a decent , even good tasting vape juice but you cant get the kind of complexity that the pros can with labs and precise mixing and what not.
      my point was that if you want some really heavy and dense stuff, you should invest in pro fluid and probably a pro machine that was made to use that fluid.
      id probably use your method though cause i just have a laser cube and just need something atmospheric

      Most store stuff is junk. Gotta spend more and get something like Froggy’s or better. The machine matters ALLOT. All my machines are low-end machines. The average person is using $60-100 machines. Pro Machines in the $1000’s are not the norm. Check out my Fogger video for another look at the fog from this fluid

    Although this method of producing fog fluid in a DIY fashion will work in some instances, what you also need to consider is the formulation from authentic fog fluid purchased commercially is quite a bit different in composition and it is important to know the temperature at which your machine is set to vaporize the fluid in totality. Manufacturers of machines often say to use their fluid for their machines and this is because they have set their machines to a temperature that they know complete vaporization will occur. Most machines are set to either vaporize glycerol and DI water (which is a more pure form of distilled water but not readily available to the general public) or a glycol mixture of two or more components to achieve the fog effect. One being a glycol responsible for the thick white cloud and the other to extend the "hang time" of the fluid. These glycols are used in conjunction with each other and their percentage of composition in the fluid varies depending on the desired effect. The combined glycol mixture is a preferred method of making fog fluid because the manufacturer can "dial in" the desired effect by changing the percentage of each in the fluid. The simple glycerol version shown in this video first of all will not work as low-lying fog fluid unless you are ok with the fog particulate rising into the air as it warms and thus becoming a room full of fog as a end result. If you are wanting to make a fluid that hugs the ground and dissipates completely keeping the fog to waist level and nothing above , this chemistry will not produce the desired effect. My advice is to not mess with DIY fog fluid. Any fluid that incorrectly made runs the risk of being burnt as a result . The mis-formulation can result in unwanted, unsafe and often toxic byproducts like formaldehyde being formed and breathed in by you and anyone else in the vicinity. Its just better to stick with professional brands of fluid where a lot of R and D have went into their development to keep them safe for use. Your lungs will thank you for it!

    • @pumpkinheadghoul
      @pumpkinheadghoul Год назад +1

      That's makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The fog is created by heating the fog juice to a high enough temperature that it vaporizes. Why on earth would you thinking cooling it would create thicker fog, when it has to be heated to create fog to begin with. Sorry, Dean, I'm not sure where you heard such nonsense, but I can assure you, it's 100% wrong.

    • @pumpkinheadghoul
      @pumpkinheadghoul Год назад

      @@GreggAdventure You never thought of that because it's absolute nonsense. Why would you want to cool a liquid before heating it to a high enough temperature to vaporize it? As I pointed out to Dean, it's completely nonsense. I can assure you, all you're doing is causing your fog machine to have to work harder to bring the juice up to temperature.
