I don’t think a lot of people realizes just how much work you have to do to get the results of a quality paint job I can definitely appreciate your dedication to providing this videos to help other people like me and others thank you
I watch Sprayway like it's a weekly show...can't wait for the next episode. I'm learning from each one. I love how you guys support each other. All love no hate...... true grit, underground paint king, pharaway.
Glad you suggested 320. I always use to 600 before flow. Didn’t have any so used 320 before flow. Great results, no runs, sags or peel. No sand scratch either. Thanks for backing my decision young man, respect your videos.
def. not easy painting cars but in the end always worth it when their done and injoyed! monti looking good so far sir its always a pleasure watching your work ! ✊
What more can i say, this man here is the Goat, nothing but patience and dedication to his craft, this man is top 3 in my book,SprayWay Customs to the front💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💯💯💯
I love watching your videos, learning a lot. I am a 62 yr old woman who loves to do body work and etc. I love the old school ways also. problem is; It never seems good enough to me, drives me crazy. Perfection is to much on the mind.
👏👏👍🙌🤜🤛♥️‼️ I absolutely enjoy your videos and I believe you’re one of the most honest people I’ve ever watched I am 74 years old and you just don’t find people like you anymore please continue putting out these great videos you point out stuff that nobody else would congratulations 🥇
Lovely work buddy , yeah I hate using a DA sander as they leave pig tails also what I like to do after sanding is go over the whole car with a grey scuff pad , nothing more satisfying when you re-clear and the metallic pops
You are amazing and work is impeccable. I love your videos I have learned so much from them. A little background on me... 55 yo doctor who quit medicine because I wanted to paint cars (really). Your videos inspire me and I watch them routinely.
A lot of work go into these things when the job is done RIGHT. there’s a reason some shops do not take in old schools. They stick to new cars/insurance claims. Big props to u 💪🏽💯
That and most customers don’t want to pay 4-10k on an old school paint job. Some 1 man jobs can afford to charge 2,000 plus materials and do all the work themselves and finish in a week or so. But shops can’t afford to do that.
Shalom I Can Say U Take Pride In Ur Projects Video After Video An There Always An Lesson Involved.Definitely An Great Color For That Year For This Monte Carlo.
Thanks for taking us to school SprayWay ! I done lots of wet sanding and buffing and I like how you wipe, dry and inspect the panels. You know how it is when your still learning, I used to just sand the whole car let it dry and start buffing. The SprayWay is a better way 💥👍🏼
Great job, I understand just how much work is involved in painting a car, you have to love the work, and have pride in job. Or find something else to do. That's why I enjoy watching your videos you can tell you enjoy your work and take great pride in every job you do.
Such an honest worts an all channel even shows you the slight imperfections that people like myself probably wouldn’t even notice but it’s not good enough for sprayway he’s gonna make it perfect as it can be 👌 nice job dude 👍
Just painted my first car and your videos have been such a huge help! My bodywork wasnt perfect... and i got a bunch of runs in the clear but... its WAY nicer than it was. I think im gonna hit it with a flow coat and bring it up right.
Nice cutting in the clear coat with 3 or 4 coats to start minimum. yup, 320 cuts runs faster. Final cut I use 600, 800, 1,000 and finally 1,500 grit as the finish for a cruiser or street car. For show and go car, I go up to 2,500 or 3,000. You brings back memories for me, nice progression and teaching video. Glad you mentioned cutting candies, pearls, etc. Keep the videos coming. Try shooting flats next as a teaching tool for the new guys.
As I've said before, you sir are a master craftsman! Love the color and I appreciate how you walk us through each thing your doing and why. You have one of the best RUclips channels for this kind of work. Best to you!
Yeah it takes a lot of work for a good paint job and you take it to the next level! But again a true master makes it look effortless. And you make it look very effortless!
Awesome brother... I have learned so much from your video's... I will be painting my 67 mustang soon... going to follow lots of what I learn from you on here... you are one of the best on youtube helping guys like me.. thanks for all you do..
Looks really good. After cut and buff it will be really nice. Not only a lot of work, but it ain’t cheap either. People bump your car with thier door, and don’t give it a thought. Then get pissy when confronted about it.
Each one teach one u are a true teacher bro keep pounding and u right it is a long process when painting a car this 88 box whoopin my ass first time painting a car thou but it's worth it in the end
Man you are a beast! I do houses like you do cars! I've never done a car before but after watching you and grit and having some skills with tools and stuff, I am now doing one of my cars a 1983 Park Avenue and my 1996 ford f150 at the same time and they both are looking great to me anyway!!! LOL if I muck it up I will just have to learn better or pay someone! You even have me ready to do my camaro rims!!! My cat, keep it up! Cinderella Dana Dane
Hey man, Have you ever used or considered using intercoat aka colorblender in between the base coat and actual clear coat to do flow coats? It drys within 6 hours completely and is ready for sanding and flow coating the same day instead of waiting weeks to let the clear coat cure. Not sure if you knew about this or not. But it gets the same results faster. Saves you more time.
Man LL ove watching you're videos I have a 93 gmc suburban could you you do a customized dash for it in a video I loved to see how you do it you're inspiration been trying to customize my just want to see some tips from you on what you would do. big fan of you're Monte Carlo SS.

My boy I watch your videos like a damn reality show lol. Could you make a video on your setup. Favorite primer, base, and clear gun. Best budget, intermediate, and pro gun in each category. Your compressor etc. I’m trying to get started I want to eventually paint my Harley but confused on the setup part and guns. Idk whether to get a 30 or 69 gallon, should I have different guns for primer, base, and clear or can I just have two and be good.

I only flow coat over 400 and no worries about delaminating. And use gray or a used red scotch brite lightly over the edges and hard-to-reach areas.

Ok so you don't have to clear the decals to build it up then resend them to flow coat. I see you took another route on this build. Cool
You don’t unless you trying to completely bury them
Love your work
Thanks
Nice work bro I can't wait
Coming soon

Thank you so much!!
Great job well explained.
If the clear fully cured can you still flow coat?
Love your videos learn a lot from you. What primer and sealer do you use

how many clear coats before and after the flow coat? nice work in the workspace you are working with 💪
Do you use the same clear, same settings, anything different from first clear coat? It sure smoothes out that finish.
I use the same settings
That's one sharp ass ride
Thanks Jeff
