Another great video!! If we ever have a need for rain, I will ask you to just come up and start a project. Instant rain! Keep up the great work!!
Lol…no doubt
Bodywork looks good, will have to check rust repair video. Didn't know you could put filler over paint that's scuffed up, thought you had to go to bare metal before applying filler.
Always learn something from watching your vids , keep up the good work !!
Thanks Louis
Keep up the good work and keep educating us i graduated from collision school and still eager to learn more about the painting side….

SW, once again you're showing the real work involved in doing a complete paint job the right way. You already have shown some bad choices made by the last people who painted the car. I'm always impressed with your attention to the details that lead to excellent results! Thanks!
Thanks Wesley

Nice work
Thanks 🙏🏾
Excellent job spray way glad to see your explaining things more 😊 how do you get your bondo so runny in the can I use bondo brand and it's not that creamy do I need to switch cause it makes it harder to flow the bondo out like you do also when you do a skim coat can you show your watchers the procedures thanks
Bro - you have to stop using the Bondo brand of filler. Use the stuff SprayWay is using. It is more expensive, but worth it! I had the same question because I could never get my filler so creamy like that - it is the filler itself, The good stuff is like butter, and WAAAAY easier to sand. My 2 cents for you.
@@scratch187 thank you for the professional advice I just bought some evercoat body filler if I was doing the business I would but I'm only doing my 98 obs and would not have any use for the expensive stuff
Yes…use Evercoat Products
Hey, it's funny, he so thorough that the bank might come to him with a business plan.
Thanks Clarence
Always 💯
Thanks man
Great video, but man I wish I’ve seen how you took the side door trims off the clips because I have a luxury sport Monte Carlo and I need to remove them but I’m scared of breakin the clips because I can’t find em anywhere
Are you talking about the trim that hold the rocker chrome on? If so I did show it
For this job welding and everything how much you charge.
It wasn’t enough for all the labor I put in it 😂
How does AG 47 compare to Z-Grip?
It’s pretty much the same to me. I think Z-Grip sand a little easier
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Jason
Hey my clever can you tell me what you spraying.. Under arm deodorant? I know a guy named Bennie.. His huge,he has no small pennies, im from KaapStaad in Suid Afrika
Can you cut and buff with a DA or is it better to hand sand?
I prefer to cut by hand and buff with DA. It's up to you and what you are comfortable with. I don't get much peel anymore but if I get trash in the clear I start with 1200 wet, 1500 wet by hand and follow with 3000 wet trizact foam pad on a DA . Then I use CSI Ceram-x compound. Finish with a hand glaze if you want but it's about perfect already with the Ceram-x
@@mitchellferre1652 thanks
Either way will work but I prefer hand sanding
@@SprayWayCustoms thanks
going to bring you my 1985 Corvette that I just brought and its in very bad paint
Ok 👌

Such great work and a very clear tutorial buddy.
Aren’t onion boards amazing , gone are the days of bits of cardboard with body filler on them 😎
Yes..those boards are a game changer
Prep is the most important part to painting great job
Yes it is Pharraway
You never fail to drop the knowledge keep it coming thanks sprayway dont stop the magic nice
Thanks DAG
Always appreciate your videos and have learned a TON! Just wanted to say thank you. I think one of the best things we can do as humans is share knowledge.

Thanks 🙏🏾
Excellent painter....person and video ! Thank you so much for taking the time to share !!
My pleasure! Thanks
Hey Spray, you givin away the trade, spilling the beans, lettin the cat out the bag🤣🤣. Good show👍👍
Lol…thanks man
The brother is fire with his work🎉🎉
Thanks Wilton
And this is why good paint jobs go for $10k+!!
Yes indeed
Nobody enjoys doing the bodywork part, but it's essential to any great outcome. Takes time, takes patience, and is worth the effort. Every small detail, no matter how small....take the time, rework is costly. I've had gun, air pressure, and mixing issues myself and I'm glad he expressed that since there are many who want a $5k - $10k paint job for $2k but don't understand the labor involved to get it right. Mr. Spray is worth the bucks..
Thanks for the big support
I’m very impressed and glad I have found your channel. I have 1990 Caprice brougham full top. It finally ripped and exposed alllllll the rust and holes under. Without your help, I’d be lost. Now, I feel like I can handle anything involving fiberglsss
Welcome aboard!. You got it 👍
Your work is impeccable. Lots of awesome ideas. THANK YOU!
I have an 84 monte I need to restore. This video is very valuable to me.
Glad it was helpful!
Your work ethic and attention to detail is amazing. Most ppl would cut corners on the tedious stuff but you really are the real deal bro!! Showing love from milwaukee, WI 414!!!!!!!

My brother you have skills i seen the other video when you did the fiberglass job and to be honest i never seen that done on rust beats the heck of doing the cutting and welding, you shown me something new very impressive good job you did on it . and you got skills my brother, I'm new to your channel so far i like your work and I'm going to continue watching your channel 👍 thanks for showing me something new. I'm going to send you a pick of my 1998 mercury cougar rs7 it's all primed up black and i would like an estimate on a paint job ,the car has no rust no dents ready to paint , can i get your email so i can send you the pictures, and by the way whats your location I'm from brick city newark nj.
Thanks for the big support

Appreciate you
My customers are so scared of plastic body filler and so anal about everything, they make body work not fun. If i can't PDR a dent i ship it out, that way nobody sues me.
I feel you on that
Trying to get in touch, I emailed you but I'm not sure if you got it or not...
Ok Brandon. What you needing done?
@@SprayWayCustoms bodywork and G6 panoramic roof install.

I’m in Decatur, Alabama
nice job sprayway. the sins of skipping out on a quality clean-out on the gun always comes back to get the painter. even the primer gun needs the love.
It gets me every time. I spend more time backtracking then it would’ve took me to clean it out…smh
Super informative my man I’ll definitely be watching more man!!
Thanks Kev
Another beauty in progress.... what color are you going back down with?
It’s gonna be a custom dark gray metallic with a little micro flake in it
SprayWay? watching your video on the OBS wiper cowl, did you paint the underneath part of the cowl parts? started mine today gettin ready to foam the wiper cowl groves Saturday:)
No, I didn’t. I’m doing another one on the OBS I’m working on now
@@SprayWayCustoms ok cool went back to the cowl video how did you block the two screw holes off ? with small pieces of a paint stick? looked like wood, mocked mine up with some card board but unable to get the square straight where you put the sharpie pieces at also thinking bout fiber glassing the lower part that goes under the hood contoured at an angle just don't know if that will dump to much water in to engine bay seeing that those holes are for the water to run out to the sides of the truck finder
I enjoy watching you work. I can't wait to see it painted.
Thanks man
On a long block.. is it better to press from the middle of it or one of the edges? I see that u use different methods.
Hand on each end to keep it flat
That blocking takes patience man o man definitely time to start getting different block sizes an shape appreciate u taking the time to show ur skills and teach u a real one
Glad I could help. Thanks
Say bro what kinda camera do you use to stream
GoPro 8
Thank bro you a real one

A1 content! I just became a subscriber to your channel, bro. Man, I wish I could learn this. You can easily make 6 figures doing this type of work.
How do you know when to use etching primer an regular primer?
Etching for bare metal and high build for bodywork
Any plans on doing a caprice wagon? Would love to see some wagon content
Sure will
lol I see two hands I’ve been away from your videos
Lol…I try to mix it up every now and then
Have you ever done a dash without taking it out of the car????????
No…not yet
@Sprayway- Ive been watching your videos and trying to get up the courage to self prep my 72 Skylark. Unless you’d like to take on the task. I’ll hire you!!!!
Been following your RUclips channel a while. If you can I’d like a quote. I have a 98 two door Tahoe. Want to get it sprayed back to the original black. Small dents and dings. Small surface rust inside on the bottom doors. I want to do jams and under hood.
So once you cut out the bad cure and fiberglass would the rust come back?@spraywaycustoms
It shouldn’t if it’s sealed up
@@SprayWayCustoms ight appreciate big bro im copying your video soon have the same car
I started to just bring it to you
Anyone have suggestions on someone that does this near augusta ga?
I’m in Decatur, Alabama
Thanks much for showing the steps.
I repair rust, and some rust holes, similarly to how you do it with fiberglas.
I can't weld so fiberglas for the home repair is the way to go.
I had wondered about using foam as filler, and your vid showed it was
entirely feasible to do this. I will be using this method this summer.
I work with Rattle can paints, on my own stuff but still, it is an art in itself.
I was watching as you chased the wet line when applying the primer...
the gun you used seems easier to do that when compared to the Rattle Can.
The effort with Rattle can is a bit more work and you have to pay attention to
not lose that wet edge.
Saw your vid where you sprayed the paint on the Monte Carlo also. the paint
application is crucial but you seem to do it so well.
Appreciate your vids and the time you took to show us the techniques.
What sand paper you switch too for the last block
180 before the last prime and then I’ll wet sand it with 400 before paint
how can i contact you i want you to do my paint job you in Alabama?
Yes, I’m in Decatur, Alabama. sprayway123@gmail
Double salute 🫡 from south Florida bra.
Much appreciated
Are you able to power the window motor with a Jump Starter and Test probes?
Use a drill battery
@@SprayWayCustoms learn something new everyday. 🤣
Great video for beginners to this bodywork like me... So teacher let's find out if I was paying attention in class .... I actually watched the whole video 😊😊😊
You got it Raw
Just email u fam and quick question what size tires on that black obs
Ok, they’re 225/60/15
@SprayWayCustoms it's hard to find them tires for 15 inch I'm going with a 4/6 drop with 15x8 rallys just to get me threw the summer then stepping it up next year have 3 projects going on at once I sent email about quarter panel work for a 55 bel air and prime and seal if u can manage that check your email thanks fam for responding
Mr. Sprayway, I have a older model toyota avalon that I want painted on the driver side, doors and blend quarter and fender. What do you charge for that. It has not dents or scratches.
