What a transformation. A black vehicle is definitely sharp 😎. They are definitely hard to keep clean though. They show EVERYTHING! Keep doing what you do 👍
I'm wet sanding my van currently so watching your videos helps allot with the patient's it takes to do it right. It just helps knowing everyone has to go through the endless hours of physical as well as mental work with body work and painting. I take my hat off to you dude, you're a great example of hard work and dedication paying off. Awesome!
@@SprayWayCustoms I wish these weren’t so expensive now. I have a few of these in the 90’s. They’re were easy to find for like $500 in decent condition

My man that black looks like you can reach in it! And it's only going to get better after the cut and buff! It takes a lot to make black look good and you are going above and beyond that.. You are the man!

I finally got around to starting the paint job on my truck and I finally realize how strong your fingers and hands must be.. I been a sanding machine and my hands sore as a mug😂😂 Appreciate you for the inspiration and being a wealth of information for the ppl to tap into..
I prefer a dry floor for just that reason. Way too much risk of water dripping off my air line laying on the floor. Trash I can hide but not water in the paint / clear
Yep, I’ve done both and I prefer a dry floor it’s one less thing I have to worry about. I’ll take my chances with a few dirt nibs than dripping water especially with spraying candy paint. One drip and it’s a ruined paint job. Thanks for the suggestion 🤝
At the end of the day if you crunch the cost per sprayable gallon the savings is minimal. I love SPI universal clear. It’s very difficult to get a run and leaves a beautiful shine. Not cheap but certainly not PPG/DuPont prices either. SpeedoKote High Solids works well if it’s not a show car.
@@SprayWayCustoms I know you are a very busy man but have you and Justin and some of your partners ever consider doing the hot rod power tour? You guys have to look into it sometime. No matter the make and models everyone is welcome

He told me that i did a show quilty job on it. i get a lot of compliments on it,. im happy with the results for someone who has never done that kind of work before. I enjoy watching your channel
Hey buddy I just got in from Lafayette la and pick me a 70 model Monte Carlo still got truck but I been watching and let them down south in on you thanks for the time show us keeping it 💯
Always learning watching sprayway. Thanks for giving us the knowledge it took you years to learn... and keep on jamming to that music I see you feeling it in your soul brother!!
Nice work my man. Not sure if you did this because I didn't see it in the video, but I tend to find that heating the clear up to the 30-40 degree centigrade range really does wonders on a flow coat. I'm in the UK though, so that might not be as necessary for you on the west coast.
Looks very Nice, I think sanding and re-clearing is going to result in a great final finish, it will allow you to really get the paint flat with no worries of going through before polishing. You may laugh but I spray with a spray gun in one hand and a torch in the other, it allows me to always see the light reflection in the paint, whatever the angle. For instance around the wheel arch lips or sills, I could spray a car in the dark if I wanted, obviously there is no good reason to but the finish would be just the same. You have more lights in your booth by the looks of it so maybe not something you would benefit from.
Looks damn fine dude I’d be proud of that if it was mine that’s for sure 👍 I’m sure you already know this but one thing I do when spaying at home with limited venting is I always remove the car mist the floor down with water and wipe the air hose down with a tack rag it seems to help quite a lot with trash 👍
I really appreciate all the tips and the stuff you do put on line I Do follow your steps every paint job It has helped my skill and talent A lot I also use the products you use I have Being getting great results that Box Chevy looks Excellent 🤜🤛 ✊️

PS The Black came out so good. I love black paint on a car. It's the ultimate in showing how straight a car is in my opinion and your job here sure looks good, love the shine! Phillip Hall
Im sure you know about boat gelcoat s maybe not but i wetsand side to aside and get bad groves in the gelcoat after buffing it and I’m using 1000grit any idea why or any tips.
Try going over it with 2000 then 3000 grit then buff. 1000 is fairly coarse to buff. Also try an more coarse buffing (cutting) compound. Followed by a polishing compound. Different pads obviously
Very nice paint work What air pressure, what size tip, what temperature when spray the clear, what type of clear did you used and how much reducer did you used? Thanks
This is why I like watching sprayway he’s not trying to do an OEM finish he’s doing a show finish
Thanks Jimmie
Masterminded....what psi did use on the flow coat and what clear are you using. Did you have to mix anything with the clear....awesome work
Exactly!
@@marvelousrides that depends on gun and clear
Thicker clear 24-30psi depending on gun
Thinner clear 17-22psi

Have to find free music that is not Copyrighted.
You have to use copyright free music or if it’s copyright music…I make sure I don’t play no more than 8 secs of it. You have to chop it up.
