Yup, but they do take too much space when compared to the other buttons, so it kind of makes sense. But you can buy any android compatible volume knob and attach it to the steering wheel or somewhere else.
I installed that ATOTO headunit in my car last year. If it is connected correctly, it starts within about 2 or 3 seconds after the ignition is switched on.
These units are great if your car doesn’t have an integrated ICC or BCM module where all the electrics are controlled via the cars BCM bus. I ripped out the Overline android ICC unit replacement
Tethering has been working absolutely reliably on my A6PF for over a year. So I don't really see a problem there. However, there is now the newer A6PL model, which has an LTE (4G) module.
Hello everyone. 1 - Can someone tell me if it is possible to keep the date and clock saved when it turns on ? It always reset after shutting down. 2 - Why the music plays automatically when it turns on ? Is it possible tu change it ? Thanks.
Why are you using android auto on an android unit!? Makes no sense 😂 it's android stereo so you don't need to use your phone, download everything you use on the headunit and leave your phone in the pocket
No dials are annoying for volume but it's the new trend I guess. I prefer an old fashion dial.

@@thyaguster I found with the speed of the slider on this one, I can do without a knob, on my car stereo that is.
Were you given this unit to review or did you purchase it yourself?

Bluetooth tethering works for Internet so you do not need to use your wifi hotspot. Do your homework
had a couple of issues with an older Atoto in my EB, but it was more hardware, might think about revisiting with this one.
I rarely leave comments. Well done!
For what your getting the price is gd.
In this day and age, you should be able to put in a sim card for data, tethering can be 'buggy' to rely on in my experience.

1 - My A6PF holds the settings when I turn off the ignition. So you probably didn't connect or wire it correctly.
Only concern is Android 10 no longer get upgrades. And soon apps stops working, because you can not update them?
Then you use your phone connected to the device. Not the best, but it is a fail safe at least. Or buy a better version.
Excellent upgrade

The A6PF has wireless Android Auto (and Apple Car Play), so you can keep your smartphone in your pocket anyway.
Useless. "Install" implies showing how to hook up the cables, which is the one thing you don't do.
