@@Blocky_Logan when i was playing 1 year ago i didn't really run to any major glitches or bugs compared to java except for when the mcc came with it the pink glitch again for some reason but really it just requires a small restart to the game, also i dont like comparing bedrock to java with marketplace cuz its just different and you should compare that with console edition ressource packs dlc's (on consoles you cant download or use anything from online and there is no curseforge even if java got choosen to be the main edition) also in java cosmetics in lunar, optifine and badlion is paid while on bedrock pc you can get and design your own custome model which is called 4d skin, so in theory you would have the same issues with bedrock either way unless you were playing on pc/mobile which you could play java on mobile/pc there too so many people miss the point as bedrock became a console game with it's achivements and more. i play both i dont really understand their hate to bedrock though with many lies in bedrock vs java without research or actually giving it a try i am not saying you are wrong ig people have their own opinions and your video is one of the best out there same goes with legacy i know its a great version i played it on xbox 360 and xbox one but compared to bedrock on pc it's like nothing the maps and everything in there which used to be exclusive was ported to bedrock and the new servers are better like zeqa and the hive if you were going to make another video please take advice from this and thanks.
That whole what version you play thing is kinda solved if you own java you own bedrock and if you play java there's a mod for bedrock pc players to play but already asking yo you play minecraft the answer is likely they play bedrock due to it being on litterally everything as well as bedrock players outnumbering java so in a way that difference no longer exists both can now play together
Here’s some things to clarify: 1: you can get addons for free on mcpedl 2: you can get addons on console via aternos server and changing dns settings 3: bedrock and Java has cross play if you join a compatible server with geyser

As a Switch gamer, I got pretty much memed on because I didn't instantly get its release(I got the WiiU's edition relatively recently at that point and didn't feel like double dipping was a good choice. real OGs remember the NETHER SPIRE from pocket edition, or maybe the xbox 360 tutorial world also, something to note between the java and bedrock mojang teams, they are handled by seperate studios. The studio in Redmond, WA handles bedrock and the office in Stockholm, Sweden handles Java (which is where most future content is planned), the main difference is how they operate and their philosophies. The Stockholm office is mainly focused with minecraft and its community, and will usually make decisions with heavy influence on what it is the community is saying (after all, a game is nothing without a community that enjoys it), but with the office in Redmond, they are only focused on pushing the changes to java into a format that all platforms can use, so they almost never even GLANCE at the community (just look at their bug report page, some bug reports never even get a response, and many just get deleted by the admins for "spamming" when really they just don't even WANT to fix any of them), the redmond office's soul goal is to make money from MineCraft's IP, hence the vast number of poor decisions involving microtransactions, and the complete disreguard for creators on THEIR OWN MARKETPLACE TL;DR Java is made with love and care, bedrock is made with contempt and greed

Very good video! About bedrock performing good, well you have a pretty overpowered PC for it, bedrock on consoles and low end phones is pretty bad, my phone for example while i get 55-60 fps the lagspikes are absolutely everywhere while playing java on the same phone(via PojavLauncher) with Optifine and many more optimization mods brings like 30-50 fps, while not the highest at the very least the framerate is waaayyy more stable than bedrock and for me I'd rather play at a stable low FPS than playing at an unstable high FPS, yes I did mention i used Optifine and one of your points was many people won't go use that and it's fair, it really depends on whoever's playing and for me it's way more worth it to play java on my phone than bedrock, only issue is that java with Optifine takes longer to start up than bedrock edition but outside of that for me it's a better experience due to the stable framerate as i mentioned and the fact that java takes way less than bedrock to load up an already generated world (java takes like 3 secs while bedrock took 12 secs from my testing) btw in both editions i usually alternate between 6-8 chunks of render distance (anything higher is basically unplayable though higher render distances in java within servers are perfectly playable for me, about 28-40 fps like that)
Ever heard of second hand pc's?That's how I played java for years, even without optimization mods it still works fine. Not everything needs to be brought new, especially if you're still living out of your parents wallet. Life is making decisions, not blindly spending money on new stuff. And a pc is much more versatile than a console or tablet.
I play both Sometimes Java can be cool, but I have a GT 1030, so I can't really play it. On bedrock I can get like 100 fps (still "bad" but better than 40) And yes I said 100 fps was bad. a 3060 is overkill for minecraft and is still a relatively new card Minecraft java is largely single core limited, so it's an issue with how the game spreads the load on the CPU, not the graphics card
Legacy clears. Also I find it weird that Legacy, and bedrock are both written in same code. Why you may ask? Because there’s certain features that Legacy has to Java. Somehow they made Bedrock completely different than Legacy… like why?!?

Fair points except for consoles... How do you install mods on console versions? It is pretty complicated because of how restricted the consoles are and how their file systems are set up. You cant just drag and drop mods into a folder like Java... It is a fair point for PC and mobile though! Now, the skins. The same skins work for PC bedrock and mobile bedrock. Consoles on the other hand... You cant. You have to buy the skins on the marketplace for money. The reason why you cant is basically the same as the mods. The reason you play bedrock is probably because you're not up to face hard challenges. I have never touched bedrock and the first day i played, it i won 3 games in a row of Hive skywars. Bedrock playerbase is garbage. Explains why every minecraft creator plays on Java
Tbh: why not both, infact, why not all versions of Minecraft? Like all lce versions, they are still very iconic and cool, tho from all of them, bedrock is the weakest but most optimized one
Bedrock is horribly optimized for consoles. There's no way its the most 'optimized' version of the game when it runs so poorly compared to the legacy versions. The in-game fps and chunk loading on Bedrock may be a bit better compared to Java, but things like the GUI are horribly optimized on Bedrock compared to other versions. Its so slow and unresponsive, and even turning off the screen animations doesn't entirely fix it. It also takes longer to connect to servers compared to Java, and it sometimes just straight up doesn't work on Bedrock. Also, Bedrock is far more prone to desync issues that cause the bugs that you see everywhere on reddit because the integrated server-client is horribly optimized on Bedrock compared to other versions.

I prefer bedrock cos it just looks better but playing on Java is easier if ur just hunting resources at night also the amount of times I've accidenttly hit Q when trying to hit W while on Java is crazy so I prefer bedrock. And also for all the people who despise bedrock for existing: 1: the bugs are funny 2: u clearly don't know how ur device works coz u don't have to pay 100's of dollars for a few mods cos they added free Add-ons to the market place AND if u go online you can install mods from websites as long as they match the version u play 3: just install the apk of an older minecraft version to go back to other versions (works in the launcher too)

Well, your comment aged poorly because of the new update on bedrock, modders can't mod the game now, the only thing left to modify your game is the marketplace and the add-ons there, the marketplace being a predatory thing and the add-ons being only able to, well, add onto the game and not modify it to the core, this update made bedrock lose so much free content and forcing players to pay for things that other modders over on Java edition make for free (while still being paid by the adds on the hosting platform like modrinth and curseforge)
@@Redstoniste That just isn't true, the removal of holiday creator feature just means that you're gonna have to add components using JavaScript instead of adding code to the item code. And for the pdb file removal, owners of servers are still able to develop stuff, it's just harder now.

Minecraft is a game created by a caring programmer from Sweden, who tried his hardest to give the fans of his game exactly what they wanted. The only reason he started charging money to play it was because the fans wanted to pay for it to support him. Minecraft Bedrock is a game created by a soulless corporation that cares more about your pocket book than pleasing their fans. That is why everything in Bedrock costs money, that's also why the world would objectively be better if Bedrock didn't exist, and why I refuse to play it. Java is specifically designed to run on anything, meaning Microsoft could have taken a year or so to fix the performance issues, and release the game cross platform.
I mean that most of the bedrock players agree that there're some things better about java, but java players just keep crapping on bedrock after researching a feature for 5 seconds leading bedrock players to disagree with java players and so on and so on.
This critique about java players applies just as much to bedrock players too, both just need to agree to disagree. I've played both versions and while I do like some things on bedrock more, personally java just fits me better (especially not having to deal with micro transactions), but I do miss the smoother world loading on bedrock without having to wait for mods to be updated every time. For everyone doubting what to choose, just try both versions (they are even both included with one Minecraft purchase) and choose what works best for you.

Also java skins and bedrock skins are the same, you can downlaod a skin from that website and import it into the game

There is actually a short attack cooldown when the player/mob you hitting turns red you cant hit them during that time
Yeah it freaking sucks. I'm p sure 1.8 pvp has it but the delay is much less? At least on dedicated pvp servers.

Consoles on the other hand... You cant.
You have to buy the skins on the marketplace for money.

anyway the modding scene exists , a big number of java mods have been fan-ported as addons
some of them even have 3d or visual effects which i don't know how could be done using just a resource pack but i think rp and bp's in bedrock have way more functionality

it's not Mojang themselves (at least the team at their Sweden office) it's Microsoft who wants bedrock to look like the main version when in reality to the Mojang in Sweden java is the main version but since they have a smaller team than bedrock sometimes features come to bedrock first

The reason you play bedrock is probably because you're not up to face hard challenges.
I have never touched bedrock and the first day i played, it i won 3 games in a row of Hive skywars.

Like all lce versions, they are still very iconic and cool, tho from all of them, bedrock is the weakest but most optimized one
Bedrock is horribly optimized for consoles. There's no way its the most 'optimized' version of the game when it runs so poorly compared to the legacy versions. The in-game fps and chunk loading on Bedrock may be a bit better compared to Java, but things like the GUI are horribly optimized on Bedrock compared to other versions. Its so slow and unresponsive, and even turning off the screen animations doesn't entirely fix it. It also takes longer to connect to servers compared to Java, and it sometimes just straight up doesn't work on Bedrock.
Also, Bedrock is far more prone to desync issues that cause the bugs that you see everywhere on reddit because the integrated server-client is horribly optimized on Bedrock compared to other versions.
@@uraniyumb3097 i mean tbh, bedrock isnt the most optimized out there anymore since even in my phone that runs lce in emulators lags alot, even in my fucking pc with the new render dragon shaders that even runs java shaders smoothly, bedrock WAS the most optimized before render dragon bc that made bedrock so bad and buggy to play

I prefer bedrock cos it just looks better but playing on Java is easier if ur just hunting resources at night also the amount of times I've accidenttly hit Q when trying to hit W while on Java is crazy so I prefer bedrock. And also for all the people who despise bedrock for existing:
1: the bugs are funny
2: u clearly don't know how ur device works coz u don't have to pay 100's of dollars for a few mods cos they added free Add-ons to the market place AND if u go online you can install mods from websites as long as they match the version u play
3: just install the apk of an older minecraft version to go back to other versions (works in the launcher too)
Also it triggers me SO much when java players pretend that marketplace is the only way to get content on bedrock, BECAUSE IT'S NOT. Also you show some of the worst examples like dream skin packs and lazy Skyblock maps. Also I'm pretty sure you can still download stuff on console?
Well, your comment aged poorly because of the new update on bedrock, modders can't mod the game now, the only thing left to modify your game is the marketplace and the add-ons there, the marketplace being a predatory thing and the add-ons being only able to, well, add onto the game and not modify it to the core, this update made bedrock lose so much free content and forcing players to pay for things that other modders over on Java edition make for free (while still being paid by the adds on the hosting platform like modrinth and curseforge)
@@Redstoniste That just isn't true, the removal of holiday creator feature just means that you're gonna have to add components using JavaScript instead of adding code to the item code. And for the pdb file removal, owners of servers are still able to develop stuff, it's just harder now.
@@MGamer_GGs You're missing the point, I'm telling you that if you want to add mods to your game well you can't on bedrock, forcing you to go to the predatory marketplace, where the only goal is to make money first, and enjoyment of the player last, not to forget that those add-ons are very limited on what they can do to the game. And also, now the only way to get content on bedrock IS the marketplace now. (and if I'm wrong just explain to me how would you go about modding bedrock, no links tho because it will make your coment invisible)

Combat is just so boring and not as fun in bedrock survival as java's more interesting system.

It sucks because Bedrock could be a great version of the game, but Mojang doesn't care enough to actually put work into making it great. They absolutely did NOT deserve the success they got from Bedrock edition.
I feel like bedrock is overhated
Minecraft is a game created by a caring programmer from Sweden, who tried his hardest to give the fans of his game exactly what they wanted. The only reason he started charging money to play it was because the fans wanted to pay for it to support him. Minecraft Bedrock is a game created by a soulless corporation that cares more about your pocket book than pleasing their fans. That is why everything in Bedrock costs money, that's also why the world would objectively be better if Bedrock didn't exist, and why I refuse to play it. Java is specifically designed to run on anything, meaning Microsoft could have taken a year or so to fix the performance issues, and release the game cross platform.

If java player just didn't crap on bedrock edition everything would be fine.
I mean that most of the bedrock players agree that there're some things better about java, but java players just keep crapping on bedrock after researching a feature for 5 seconds leading bedrock players to disagree with java players and so on and so on.
This critique about java players applies just as much to bedrock players too, both just need to agree to disagree.
I've played both versions and while I do like some things on bedrock more, personally java just fits me better (especially not having to deal with micro transactions), but I do miss the smoother world loading on bedrock without having to wait for mods to be updated every time.
For everyone doubting what to choose, just try both versions (they are even both included with one Minecraft purchase) and choose what works best for you.
