A Polymer Clay Tutorial: The Alphabet in Clay

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make the alphabet in clay! Some will use this information to make signature canes, others will make words in clay and some might just find the processes interesting. I wanted to make words and those words have turned into pendants, pins, beads, etc.
I hope you enjoy this one, originally, the contents were posted separately but it's too hard to find all of them so it seemed a good idea to have one tutorial containing them all.

Seriously if I see one more person make another pair of polymer earrings… Have you ever worn those things they’re heavy AF and nobody’s gonna wear them that’s under the age of like 60 😂

If you have a link to the kit of cutters you used, I'd love to know it. I'm betting others would also. They look sturdy and sharp. - only if it's not too much of an inconvenience❣️
Love all your videos but this is the one I’ve watched over and over. I’m gonna create my signature. Mine is actually 4 letters hooked together to form the name of my “business” ( haven’t launched yet). I’m so nervous about making the letters. Wish I could show you and get some advice. It’s actually a tat on my hand that I would be recreating with all the letters hooked together!!! Ahhhhh
I will be using Kato black and white. I love Kati Polyclay. Not sure why so many say it’s hard to condition. I don’t agree and the extra time it takes is well worth the effort. Only clay I know that does what you tell it to. Excellent quality and tough!
thank you, Nana! I'm sure your signature will be great. I guess I'd recommend starting with just the letters, a simple straightforward signature. Once you're comfortable with that, then design and face any piecing challenges. I love Kato Polyclay, too. I just wish it wasn't going away. We have some time, maybe up to a year but the company will be stopping production. Makes me sad but life goes on and I can't change that. Big hugs, D

I would like to try making letter stamps somehow.
you could try to get letters off of credit cards. you'd need to borrow letters you don't have but that would work. hugs, d

Okay, Sharon. Do the S first. Then map out the K on the S. Now, inserting the K means you have to remove some of the S, the width of the lines so that the K fits neatly and the S does not get out of alignment. maybe I should do this...
