    To have come up with an idea like this in the first place is pure genius. You are very innovative and must experiment with many many wonderful ideas because most people don't have this talent to play around. So beautiful!

    Donna, I just wanted to say "thank you".
    In a world where people can be so selfish, it's amazing that a world renowned artist, teacher, & author would do these lessons for us for free. So, thank you.
    This project is so beautiful, I love it!
    One thing I wanted to ask...did you invent & design the Marx-it tool?

    What the WHAT hey?? I'm a bit freaking out. I was just singing Rawhide while waiting for the coffee. It's been years since I've seen/ heard the intro music- no idea why it popped in & out of my head so it's pretty bizarre. Ya gotta sing the word "RAWHIDE" loud! I can hear that whip a-snappin. LOL.
    Thank you for your fabulous video lessons. You make it easy & so enjoyable to learn. Your gentle easy voice makes it extra special. The laugh & giggle sprinkled around is a bright light. I love your "human-ness" I think we all need to see Louie soon. Rawhide.. still chuckling.

    Are there different numbers/grits(?) of micro mesh? What were you using here? THANK YOU for such an informative "tute". It was Full of info I hadn't discovered in all my 20 years of claying!

    • @DonnaKatoArt
      @DonnaKatoArt  Месяц назад

      yes, micro mesh has grit numbers. now, that product is made for fine sanding, cars and the like. it's good to have both the micro mesh and the abranet sheets - this way you've got situations when you've got a lot of heavy duty sanding and situations where you want fine sanding covered. if you can't get them, i think ordinary wet/dry sandpaper is fine, too. 400, 600, 800 grit. won't get you the micro mesh sheen but close. won't take off a lot of clay fast like the abranet, but it will work. hugs, d

    Hello Donna Kato. I happened on your videos about a month ago and immediately became a subscriber and started watching one video after the next as each one is as interesting as the other. Eager to learn more I have purchased two of your books, "Art of Polymer Clay Millefiori Techniques" and "The Art of Polymer Clay Creative Surface Effects" from Amazon. I have purchased most of the basic materials to begin learning to make jewelry using polymer clay and also intend to take your paid online tutorial classes. However, I am very interested in purchasing canes to begin making and selling jewelry. I have done several searches on Etsy, Amazon. and Google and not been able to find any similar to your canes. Do you sell canes or take request for custom canes? I am very interested and willing to compensate you for your time. Please know that you are appreciated for sharing your talent and creativity with us.

Now, if I didn’t have the channel, I would happily make canes for you but I just can’t do both. If you don’t mind, I will ask members in the classroom if they might connect with you. I like helping people connect! Big hugs, D
