- Licensed physician and Pentecostal minister Christine Daniel used the power of the pulpit and the authority of her medical license to bankrupt terminally ill cancer patients.
Christine Daniel was convicted of preying on dying cancer patients by telling them she had a "miracle" cure and charging them thousands of dollars.
She killed dozens of people and gets 14 years. The system is broken.

I lost my dad to cancer in 2009, at age 14 and it’s so heartbreaking. I know how those families feel and it’s a very difficult situation at this time in their lives. I am still a little broken each day because I was so young and not ready to let him go yet. I am now 27 years old and i know my dad would of wanted me to move on with my life and keep going, that’s exactly what I have done for him.
I am so livid mad of how that women just played them dirty for their money. They were just trying to find a cure for their loved ones to help them live a longer life.

The sister of the one with brain cancer even traveled to Mexico to buy a product for him. My grandma died of cancer after years of suffering. So I totally understand why the victims families trusted her. Because when you see someone you love dying and suffering and you know there isn't that much you can do your desperate for anything to stop their suffering. Medicine, surgery, and some other things luckily
gave her more years to live but that isn't the case for everyone. So I really feel their pain.

It was the cancer that killed them while they were also being scammed and drained of their money. They wasted their time and money believing in this "cancer cure" when they could have been spending time with their families and friends and getting ready to say goodbye. That is what the victims' families are upset and heartbroken about.
Also, if you just use common sense.. the woman was batshit crazy and evil, but her goal was to make easy cash, not to kill. If she purposefully formulated her "cure" to kill her patients, she wouldn't be able to keep the money. However she combined the ingredients, it probably helped her patients feel healthy, but the cancer was still there. And when they passed, she probably thought it'd be easy as saying it's unfortunate they died, sorry, and then go on to spending their money.

Aside from financial issues, I think the worse part about what she did was the false hope they gave to both the patients and their families, that instead of using the time to prepare and condition themselves for when their loved ones finally succumb to cancer she then made them believe that they would still have so much time with each other only to have them suddenly pass away like that, it must've been so painful for them

People truly believed that her drink would heal them which caused them to start feeling better because mental health does play a major role in physical health. So it made it seem that the drink was working, but their deaths were inevitable.
