There should probably be a rule that you can only get maybe one or two life insurance payouts in your lifetime and if you take out a policy on someone, you must also take out the same amount in yourself and notify that other person or their guardian.

He had custody of his older son because the mother died. He did not have custody of Prince. They were battling over custody of Prince. He had visitation, which ALL states are pretty strict about. Unless she had actual police reports or evidence that he had previously abused his child, he's going to be granted visitation. Even if he had abused her, they still grant visitation with the child. He didn't have any convictions for killing people for insurance, so the judge had no way to know he might harm his son.

He had custody of his older son because the mother died. He did not have custody of Prince. They were battling over custody of Prince. He had visitation, which ALL states are pretty strict about. Unless she had actual police reports or evidence that he had previously abused his child, he's going to be granted visitation. Even if he had abused her, they still grant visitation with the child. He didn't have any convictions for killing people for insurance, so the judge had no way to know he might harm his son.
The first death I ever experienced was my newborn baby cousin whose dad shook him to death because he was “crying too much.” I never understood that and it was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen

It's incredible how many people are failed by the system. Cops seem to 'solve' only those case that are nicely given to them on a platter. Sometimes they mess up even them!
They want cases that close themselves and take the credit. Or they rely on snitches. They don’t want to do any actual investigative work.
They want cases with EVIDENCE. There was nothing more than speculation before the murders happened. Do not blame cops for following the law and not putting people in jail based on "I think he is dangerous."
