"Celestial Navigation" is one of my favorite episodes, and this in particular has always been my favorite Josh Lyman mini-story.

Celestial Navigation.. one of the best episodes in the legendary season 1. The best part was after.. CJ, Toby and Sam taking turns killing him.
Agree with you. Celestial Navigation is in my top 5 favorite episodes of TWW.
I also loved how everyone kept looking weird at Sam when he was explaining in detail how Mendoza was traveling back home from Nova Scotia.

This would never happen in real life, they would never be this open with the people. Also there is always someone in the wings to take over.
Who says, "I had root canal?" Isn't it "I had *a* root canal?"
Numerically search results on a couple of services seem to be 95% root canal treatment or procedure and about 5% a root canal treatment or procedure. While a root canal procedure may be more correct, the vernacular seems to be root canal.
Also, she wasn't able to pronounce an "S", so maybe she had a couple of teeth done and was trying to say WOOT CANALTH
Maybe the "a" was getting swallowed by the cotton.
