I know he left because he got the role in NCIS, but i would have like to have seen more of him in the series, much like Emily Procter
This was the role that got him Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The NCIS creators/show runners…whatever their titles…saw him in a way we’d never seen Mark Harmon. And they knew “that’s Gibbs”.
When Agent Donovan got shot it was such a shock, and a heartbreaker.
Fortunately we were going to have 20 fabulous years ahead of us in NCIS.
There was only so much they could do with a secret service agent on West Wing. He was never going to be in the inner circle of the Bartlet administration.
Yes! Either or both but that's just me being selfish.
@@rogerreese7624me too, I wanted to see him with CJ.
I liked Danny Kincannon, but I thought Mark Harmon and Allison Jannethad chemistry.
I also really liked Emily Proctor and thought she and the guy Rob Lowe played against made a cute couple.
The lawyer/student/ escort that he slept with went on to be the head Dr. On House, Lisa Edelstein.
Such a strong precursor to Gibbs, and so memorable for the time we had him. I would have loved to see them be endgame rather than CJ and Danny, but c’est la vie. Just like Agent Casper and Ainsley Hayes, it’s amazing to see the actors do so well in their own leading ventures.
The first time my wife saw them at the shooting range.,,.she laughed so hard I thought she'd go over backward in her chair...I don't know how many times we've binged this series,,but it would appear to me this was one of the finest ensemble productions ever put on the small screen...
Mark Harmon was great in this role, and had a good rapport with the other characters in the show.
This is the Mark Harmon I enjoy. He's so good at this kind of character.
First I read "Vera Wing - The West Wang"
I need coffee.
im dead XD
Crime, boy I don't know.
“In case you’re wondering… that’s when I decided to kick your ass”
LOVE that line for him.
Love how this schmoozie high-end department store has people changing in a single closet behind saloon doors. 🤪
Oh my god, you think that having a change room to yourself is snooty? That you have to go to a fancy department store to go to a changing room that lets you in by yourself and has Saloon doors? How sad for you. I mean I don't know where you shop but it must be absolutely horrible. I don't shop at fancy designer places and all of them have nice changing rooms with doors. I'm guessing you must be shopping at half closed down Walmart outlets for unemployed people and they make you change in the middle of the store?
@@clarkmacgowan5114 Yep, the meaning of their comment went right over your head.
@@clarkmacgowan5114 Lol. Take a breathe, you don't understand what they wrote.
Did you not observe it was in a mall???
I figured full length mirrors, wine and 5 ladies serving. That fitting room was jc penny all day.
Anyone else feel a little thrown off when these video clips end on a dramatic note and the music all of a certain turns super happy?
That's absolutely how the show itself was. That happy music is the ending credits.
Anyone who's seen Noël from Season 2 knows how you feel!
What pissed him off so much is that the email proves the stalker was in the store, and because he was humoring CJ's niece, he might've missed out on clocking him while he was being chatty with her.
So true. Might’ve been guy in the coat .. not sure 😪
I would say, and I know this won't be popular with Harmon's leagion of fans, that he was flirting with CJ's niece, or rather she was being flirtatious with him, and he was distracted.
@@mobiz711What? No.
@@mobiz711yeah, that’s how I read it too.
@@mobiz711 Yep. The hands on her shoulders was a bit handsy for 2024.
Before this scene we know cj likes Simon. She says she has to get a dress for junior prom.. then asks her assistant why did I tell Simon that it was for junior prom??.. assistant tells cj she wanted Simon to know she’s not old enough to have niece at senior prom and wants credit for extra yr. 😂😂
Nora Jones playing in the background always made that first scene so much more romantic for this knucklehead! 😍😂
Ah, thank you, RUclips! This is probably my most favorite ever TV series.
Two things I always take away from Mark Harmon's spot in the West Wing. One: Gibbs has a thing for redheads I wonder if that was a nod to this and Two: why couldn't we had one of Gibbs ex wives played by Alison Janney.
I wish his role was reoccurring. His ending was tragic AF.
I’ve watched West Wing over and over again, but I’ve never rewatched the episode in which Donovan was killed.
@@jenniferfirer2837I have watched it multiple times. It was brilliant … and utterly devastating.
@@callioscope utterly devastating, indeed.
After he sees the email you get on the phone and call the security office at the mall and get all of the security tapes ASAP!
This might sound strange, but we didn't have security cameras back then.
And, the limited ones they had were pretty bad.
Allison Janney looks beautiful in Vera Wang
No kidding she rocked that dress
Hard to imagine that this is Dolores Abernathy from Westworld
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Took me a few seconds to realise but yeah that's her. This section is too full of Mark harmon fans though to notice.
Poor kids name was Hogan Cregg:(
Harmon didn't leave, his character was meant to die in the story line. Later he did JAG and its spinoff NCIS.
Too bad he missed the day they told SS agents to not start cracking witty jokes until after you've secured an area
really, did he check the changing area first?
And too bad he missed the day where they taught to take advice from some idiot youtube commentor
@@alertgasper I was thinking the same thing. Very unprofessional. Or maybe it's standard operating procedure for USSS to miss the obvious, as we recently found out.
Given their record lately? I'm not so sure they *have* that lesson
he looks at CJ go into the dressing room then 2 women approach from the right he turns his back as they approach the dressing room area BREACH its a good scene but...
Using an AOL email address? This guy is super evil!
Teens don’t say “brandish”.
we do if we feel like it's right to use in the situation, what can I say lol
Stop projecting
Intelligent ones do
A nerdy girl who reads a lot of books would
Depends on the level of education of the parents. Teens with illiterate parents would never use the word brandish unless it became vogue via mainstream musicians.
He missed the stalker like he was prone on a building
This scene is so creepy and weird
I know it was done to focus on the relationship between CJ and Simon, but a single Secret Service agent is not a protective detail.
He was part of a " detail. " He and several other agents provided her security on a rotational basis. He was just the one highlighted on the show but he was definitely part of a " detail."
Do you know where you are, Dolores?
If only those Secret Service Agents felt the same way about a man with a ladder and range finder.
The guy in the coat with the white shirt.....in the background....... suspicious
Mark Harmon my action star
Rachel Brosnahan as a child
‼⁉Oh my god, this scene is so familiar to me, but now I see it with new eyes. It looks exactly like her, too, as in her face didn't change much as she matured.
Thank you for confirming that it was her, I was going crazy.
That is Evan Rachel Wood not Rachel Brosnahan.
He's switching sides.
Next time talk to the guy in the coat and get ID. Trump must have same pros on his detail.
Were there other agents there?
Little bit icky these days.
that's a lot of the West Wing lol. still love watching though
