God these guys are great. The greatest musicians with the greatest singer in and of all music. I have seen them many times and in consecutive nights and always left with my ears ringing and my mouth open. Back in 1983 I told my brother this band is on a whole new wavelength. Thanks Queensryche & GT!!
2 words PROMISED LAND stick to what you guys know, i think Promised Land was the prime of queensryche it didnt get any better than that, i could listen to that album over and over and never get tired of it
Oh my God! This song enchants me! If my ears did not deceive me, I felt a little bit of the Beatles song. They are wonderful! Geoff really is THE ONE!!! This training Queensryche was simply perfect! To me, that is the one already existed. I really miss them. I wanted to cry when you see something so beautiful as well. This formation today, with La Torre, without Geoff and DeGarmo, unfortunately, is a cheap imitation of our beloved Ryche. Thanks for sharing. You made my day be happier.
+Val Faria The Chris DeGarmo era is something very special. We all know it. With that said, I couldn't disagree (respectfully) more regarding the current lineup being a "cheap imitation". Tate was responsible for the decline in quality after Promised Land. He was also the primary reason our beloved DeGarmo quit the band...twice. Firing Tate was required for the long term survival of QR. Their 2013 self-titled album, production issues aside, was easily their best album in 19 years. Their new album is much better, so I'm told. I've only heard the two singles thus far.
Val Faria. I totally agree with you, this song is just beautiful sounding. The magic or chemistry Geoff and Chris had together when writing songs was unmatchable in this band IMO.
I remember being able to get to the game files on the CD-ROM and being able to see this video without having to play through the game. I learned it from someone on AOL back in the day. I've since forgotten how to do so. I still have the game. Those were good days...
One of the greatest treasures of my Queensryche collection, been a fan since 1983 and I also miss deGarmo, but they are still very strong.Go see 'm life and you will get my meaning.
Nice. I need to pull that album out and put it back in rotation for a while, some nice stuff on there. The CDROM may be one of the few Queensryche extras or oddities I don't have.
Once upon a time, Geoff was actually contributing to the Queensryche legacy in a helpful and respectful way. Hard to believe its the same man in 2012 who pissed his voice away, assaulted his band brothers AND tried to sell off the rights to Operation: Mindcrime for a personal profit without so much as a mention to people he had been playing 20+ years with. We miss you 1994 Geoff.
@@cosplayboundlive wrong. They may have to sign off on things in order for the record company to release back catalog items but they are NOT friendly with Geoff in any fashion whatsoever
i would be really surprized if parker had any part in this. not saying he didnt but highly unlikely. this song has a chris degramo style to it as well as some if not all his lyric writting.. another gem they did. why they never released it on to a record is beyond me..a very underrated song
@j800r Hey this was a buddy of mine whom meant no harm. We all grew up together in Port Townsend. . . he showed me this comment and asked to write. Parker is actually featured on that tune: he wrote it, and played all the guitars. No offense intended to the QR guys, in fact the kid who posted and I have met them all, including Degarmo. I'm the singer. We're all fans of QR here, so no need for a feud.
Surely, Brett, you're not trying to say that Parker Lundgren wrote all the guitar parts and played them for Two Mile High, right? You're talking about "Don't Wake Me Up," right?
I was responding to a song called "Don't wake me up," not this song. The original comment was removed. Parker Lundgren wrote the guitar parts. It's on iTunes under his name. Is that proof enough?
"I'm the Singer" so you're Geoff Tate? And I want proof Parker is on this song and wrote it (not calling you a liar) it's just news to me, been a big Ryche fan for a while, always craving new knowledge, in 95 I figured Parker would have been like 10 lol
And of course, I'm not Geoff Tate. That was never implied. You simply failed to understand the comments before replying. I am the singer of the project the young kid was apparently "spamming" about. All he was doing was sharing his excitement for the project.
on an xp machine if you install the ancient version of quicklime provided on the cd , it will play . my game had a glitch and would not complete , had to search for the video .

Faster Pussycat
Possibly the “cutest” sounding queensryche song in my opinion

Fantastic! Wish they would do more like this. Geoff's voice sounds superb!
how on earth can anyone not like this...for gods sake grow up..!!
It's just pure queensryche

this song should have been one the album,
Geoff has wonderful voice range
Queensryche meets Yes.
Love it.
More like Queensryche goes to Sesame Street.
Why was this song left out on any Queensrÿche CD's? It's a nice song period.
It was a bonus song for Promised land video game dvd only exclusive to those who had it if you beat the game
@@omnadrener1 I had the game and could never beat it. I was just learning how to play computer games and never got past the boat.
@@candylovejoy9805 it was fun to play yes took me very long Candy I wish u had it now bet you would beat it!
@@omnadrener1 I wish I did too. Actually I am going to go digging through my old CDs and see if I stored the game in them.

Got to see this on the Promised Land CD Rom game. Glad to see it here because I can't run the game anymore! Thanks!
Reminds me a lot of And You And I by Yes from Close To The Edge. Beautiful.

The end of my favorite band💀

This song is awesome, thanks for sharing. :)
This came on when you solved MYST.
Oh I love this thanks for posting it!!!!
Exactly, Grendelsan. Don't wake me up was the song in question, but the original comments were removed.
First time I hear this song!! I kind of unplugged
awesome! nice tune! why was this one left off i wonder?

Hi. That assault happened in a Brazil gig in 2012 (where he spat on Scott's face) and not in 2014
Jokes on you... They're friendly again and working together on a 30th anniversary box bet of Empire.
Fuck off
@@cosplayboundlive They are? Surprising. Scott's in very bad shape and might not ever pick up the sticks again.

In his prime you're right. Now a days Todd La Torre rules the roost with QR.
Promised Land CD ROM Game.... song
De Garmo, Master!!!!
The missing song from the Promised Land album.

Didn't even know you released a game. What does it consist of? Hope all is well in QUEENSRYCHE promiss land.
@DuncanOc
SOOO not spam!! great rare moment that I was thankful to see as a QR fan since 1985
Sounds like DeGarmo wrote the song AND the lyrics!
This is from the game and the end
Kool to hear something new by the (real band)

Sounds just like zeppelins "Thats the way". This is a great song.
Funny the guitar solo is overdubbed on the acustic solo.
Who's playing the electric guitar? Lol
I'd like to see the game, didn't they wrote a full soundtrack for it ?
Obviously the comment had no intention of offending Degarmo. It was just a young kid, expressing his excitement over one of Parker's side-projects.
I would love to learn this song! Anyone have the chords or notes tabs?
Sigh....I never did complete the game, but it was interesting and fun. Thanks for posting this for my loser ass. Ha. RYCHE ON!

Parker was still in middle school when they did this song.

i never did finish the game
@fox0027 You're right, you've got to be pretty extraordinary to write and release a piece of crap like Wot We Do.
