I saw queensryche recently with out Geoff I felt like I was watching cover band and now I saw Geoff his on band I felt like I was watching queensryche back in the days. Much love Geoff your voice is amazing.
Best ensemble dudes played with in years. Like it’s no contest, this is the best supporting band I’ve heard him with in at least 10+ yrs. Their stage work needs some organising and tidying up but these cats are very much the deal!!🤙👌👍
Geoff sounds great. He assembled a great cast for the band. Loved how the lead guitar player stayed true to the guitar parts. They always had signature solos and he humbly did them with passion and respect.
@@handlehead He was having problems with his voice and hitting certain notes in that time frame. I saw him then too and it was disappointing. THIS is MUCH better.
Bought this cd single when it came out, it was great then and it’s still great now superb effort, thanks for the superb upload all the best from 🏴
Dam he sounds great!!!! I mean dam I love it when they stuck to what the song is supposed to sound like and they all kicked ass!!!! I would def pay to see this band.
One of the 1980's session guitarist, Dan Huff, along with Luthier James Tyler came up with the signature clean guitar sound that dominated music of the times and many try to dial in today. Start out with neck position single coil, scoop the mids out to taste and add to the top end. Tyler came up with a preamp that engaged the bridge pickup as well while scooping mids out and boosting treble a few DBs. If you gots the simoleons to lay down check out James Tyler guitars.
I think my favorite cover of a song is probably hearts version of alone where the original by the band I 10 is song More from a man's perspective hearts version is sung from a woman's perspective and ends vocals and Nancy's guitar work on that cover of alone is amazing
Pretty damn Good! I am a Lead Singer/Song Writer myself, I've rehearsed this song for years, it's alot of rollercoaster octaves on it, it ain't as easy as it sounds to hit the bullseye with it. Good job! Keep it Rockin! 🤘🏻🤠
It's not among his hardest songs, you're talking about Geoff Tate here, of course he can hit it, it's not even in the top 5 most challenging songs of the catalog.
Two Queensryche members, Michael Wilton & Eddie Jackson, still touring nightclubs and state fairs. There's gotta be 100 people there. Todd's voice is ok, I've seen lots of bar bands cover Queensryche, no one can touch Geoff Tate's vocals. I prefer listening to the original music. Been a fan since 1987. Saw them many times. This is just sad. Not Queensryche without Geoff & Chris.
One of the old timers that can still sing. Kick ass 👏
The ONLY voice of Queensryche!!🎤🎤
I stopped following Queensryche the moment I heard Geoff Tate was fired from the group! And it was over-the-phone! WTF!!
Absolutely!
Was
Yes but Todd does very good job
Except he’s not. Todd is great, and the albums they’ve done with him have been better than anything they did after Empire.
Still sounds great. 1 of the true powerhouse voices of rock.
Former student of opera coach David Kyle. Knows how to look after his voice.
@@andyc5729 not really. He killed it years ago smoking. He sounded much worse before

He is the best singer ever when it comes to music he has a voice that no one can compare to
Insane, unknown musicians that good. Who can say, he played for Geoff Tate, one of the greatest Rocksingers ever. Respect
He still can sing.
Damn ... I guess. That's album quality.

Sounds absolutely amazing!
I saw queensryche recently with out Geoff I felt like I was watching cover band and now I saw Geoff his on band I felt like I was watching queensryche back in the days. Much love Geoff your voice is amazing.
Been listening to this man since 1986. He was amazing then and it's nice to see things don't change
Best ensemble dudes played with in years. Like it’s no contest, this is the best supporting band I’ve heard him with in at least 10+ yrs. Their stage work needs some organising and tidying up but these cats are very much the deal!!🤙👌👍
We saw them last year and they were all incredible musicians, I really wish Geoff would write a new album with this band.
HOLY SHIT!!!! Geoff sounds awesome! New album, reunion, big solo tour, whatever he wants... READY!! Hell yah!!
Fantastic - really good backing band
That was hard!! That drummer is so sick!!!!!!!
Drummer is killing it!
Greatest rock vocalist of all time!
Him and Jack Russell are the 2 best ever 😝
Cool to see another left handed drummer! Rock on!
Did my heart good to hear this jam again Rock on 🤘
Geoff sounds great. He assembled a great cast for the band. Loved how the lead guitar player stayed true to the guitar parts. They always had signature solos and he humbly did them with passion and respect.
That great voice never tires!!!!
Wasn't expecting this...
Way better than what I heard 10 or 15 years ago.
huh?
@@handlehead He was having problems with his voice and hitting certain notes in that time frame. I saw him then too and it was disappointing. THIS is MUCH better.
Definitely sounding better than he was back then.
Great to hear the original doing well again!
Geoff. One of a kind.
I saw the band back in 1980 something at Donningtin. Superb sound.
What a great band! Wow! Geoff sounding great! Drummer is a beast!
Wonderfull singer! Geoff Tate forever!!
Lead guitar is spot on.
Geoff Tate is the nicest, most humble guy I've accidentally run into. Best love, health and happiness to this legend.
Geoff Tate still has a damn good voice very nice to hear
The best metal singer/story teller EVER!
Finally a drummer with acoustic kit!!!
Bought this cd single when it came out, it was great then and it’s still great now superb effort, thanks for the superb upload all the best from 🏴
His voice still sounds great 👍
Geoff, an incredible singer.
Dam he sounds great!!!! I mean dam I love it when they stuck to what the song is supposed to sound like and they all kicked ass!!!! I would def pay to see this band.
Queensryche without Geoff Tate ISN'T Queensryche....
STYX without Dennis DeYoung ISN'T STYX.
Love this song
These guys are having the best time playing with Geoff. Sounding amazing! I'd give my left testicle that play a song with Geoff!

Geoff is soooooooo awesome. Love his stage style. He's da man. He knows it.
Amazing...I'm glad he's living the quiet life he desires, but hearing him once again is epic!
Still got the chops. You can always tell which singers take care of their voices.
thanks for sharing, the one and only voice of Queensryche!!!damn he sounds great still all these years later!!!

Sounds insanely AWESOME. Geoff sounds beyond amazing dare I say best ever.
Man! He absolutely still has it.
My favorite Queensryche song
Had the pleasure of seeing GT this year in Kansas City. Still has a great voice👍.
Iconic voice.
The voice!! Goosebumps!
That band was tight as fuck. Tate still sounds stellar.
He sounds great!!
He really looks like he’s having a good time!
This was my 80s metal band.
Love it and how bout that drummer?!!!!❤👍👍👍👊
The only voice of Queensryche and many a great year watching too
He his QUEENSRYCHE , there is NO substitute
Nice, bass player leads the song. 😊
I guess he has the whole package...
Thanks for posting this.
WOW!!! He STILL has it. SO many front men don't anymore and need to stop.
Still kicking ass. Awesome, thanks
I really wish the original lineup could put their differences aside and do a final tour!!!
Geoff sounds great
Saw Geoff do the entire mind crime album with kiernan Robertson....great sounding band and kiernan couldn't have been cooler after the show
I like Kieran as well. He's playing rhythm guitar in Faster Pussycat now. Cool musician!
He doing the mindcrime album in 2025 for the last time. Got my tickets cant wait to see it live. Love that album
wow sounds amazing
Now he is the .voice of himself
Jet City (Seattle-Boeing) Woman..............Now "Emerald City"

Beautiful
I wish he ask degarmo to join in new project.both are the heart of the queensryche.
Tate and DeGarmo were Queensryche.....🎤🎸🔥💪👊🎶🎵🎼
Very proud of Geoff
I love this man.
Brilliant!!❤
Sounds the same as he did in 88 suicidal tendencies opened for them ... awesome show

Thé guitarist is amazing !
The group touring as Queensryche is an abomination! Geoff Tate IS Queensryche!
Amazing!!!!
Awesome

Wish they comeback to tour🙏
Geoff is awesome forever. Don’t know about the hipster band though 😂 Somebody get Chad DeGarmo some socks 😂
I wish he would play Della Brown live
I was at this show
Damn...Nails it...GT is Queensryche.
I'm in Texas, but grew up in Ardoyne.
Soo cool
wish they had some guitarists that would play the parts more accurately to the original, note just wing the open string notes.
He's having a little trouble on the high notes but still sounds pretty good.
Dio
Halford
Tate
Dickerson
The band...ok, Geoff, always GOOD..
Anyone remember when he sang songs about revolution and reliance on technology? Where did THAT guy go?
This guy just crushed ANYONE singing in his age group! Vince, Jon B Jovi, Arnel can all go suck it! Bye bye “Queensryche” . The trophy goes to Geoff!
Ask Michael Sweet (Stryper) if he agrees, friend.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
who r these guys ,,,thanx
Hate it when the vocals lets the crowd sing their part …
I wonder if he still sings Road to Madness
