Strange how they are saying almost the same thing about Scott as they did about Tate whenever go minus the drama Tate brought. I call BS and they better have their ducks in a row to prove everything. I totally agree with you 100%. Todd is overrated! His interview attitude sucks! I understand that taking the "helm" of things being the front man but he just goes about it wrong and it rubs people wrong! Its like he acts he is better than Tate and because he is there now he will make them better than before! Its also like he is carrying a grudge with his attitude! Kind of wish they would of just hung it up when Tate left and then they wouldn't of been in a position to have to pay Tate anything they kind of put themselves in that situation. They could of let Tate have the name and went on with a different name since the only people really listening to them are the hard-core fans now. I can almost bet they would of made just as much money as they are now. Bad business move. There are songs after Chris left that were ok and I listen to and play drums to but not a lot of them. This band has turned into not only a joke but basically an embarrassment. They are nothing short of a cover band and to be honest whether it's queensryche, skid row, pink floyd or any other band we grew to love were all sick of the he said she said bs.
I’m happy that Queensryche is continuing in some form. Geoff Tate lost his marbles around 2009, and tried turning Queensryche into a weird jazz/cabaret band. Whatever they’re doing now, it can’t possibly be worse than that. Even Tate realized he was fucked up and is leaning back into the early Queensryche sound on records, and touring the old classics
I.M.O. Todd should continue with his SOLO work ( WHICH IS FUCKING GREAT) and Michael and Eddie move on to another project.. But who am I to say whats best...LOL.

I’ve headed Scott may be dealing with some issues that let’s say people can struggle with when in a band. Does anyone know if this rumor is even true and has he managed to finally seek help if it’s true? It would be terrible if that’s where all the band’s money was going.

They don't. These are merely dispositions that sites like Blabbermouth have acquired and turned into stories for a few extra clicks. The band has actually been very good about not airing any dirty laundry. It's the media that drags this into light.
EJ is a phenomenal bass player. His work on Roads to Madness is legendary. MW is an incredible guitar player. His songwriting on those early albums is obviously critical to the history. But, yes the “but bomb”, when a band has been so gutted and only 2 of 5 remain, with the other 3 leaving in bad terms…well, you’re doing a greater disservice to the band/brand than if you just changed the name and moved on.
without question . . . .these guys though, they really do need each other the way it was almost originally, you can get away with losing DeGarmo, Kelly Grey performances you almost didn't even realize Chris was not there but no more than that can you lose because each member brought something so unique about their approach to their respective instrument , Scott Rockenfield was Massive in this way, his drum work is driving those songs kind of like How Neil was driving RUSH, each part is so well thought out, nothing is random and everything is purposeful and almost perfectly flowing

I guess I'm just an old fart but rock bands in my lifetime have always fought, then they made up, made another album, toured and life went on. This crap is like a real life lifetime movie, lets call in Judge Judy, that should put an end to this nonsense!
First Tate now Scott ...very suspicious don't you think , this makes Tates side even more believable now .
In what way?
t one time this was a great and polished band with two of the best albums back to back, that was the best time to be a fan then 1990s hit and it has been nothing, not a bit of that kind of artistry from them so they now bitch and sue over money from a group that has been dead for like 30 years. not going to lie, they now suck and i have had enough, in the best line i can think of "bye Felisha"
This will always be he said she said scenario....Tate said in interviews that Rockenfield was the heart of the Queensryche sound, DeGarmo has said many times that there was a break among the members that made his decision easy. Tate and DeGarmo still talk, Tate still speaks highly of Rockenfield, I think we can see who the breakaways are and why they keep having problems since DeGarmo left.....it's redundant
I think you are correct sir. I also think they should change the band's name from Queensryche to And Then There Were None.
@@myrtislockett864 👍🏼🔥🍻
Scott wants something for nothing. Did he have the c- section? I bet his wife would have toured a month after if she played drums. Scott is a lazy boy...of gen z proportions...
@@2AChef-n-BBQ so in the he said scenerio I think we all know who the he's are and who th the she's are. They say that true champions know when to turn the other cheek. The last time I saw Queensryche was for Operation Mindcrime 2. Ronnie James Dio stole the show.
@@myrtislockett864 I haven't seen them since Promised Land
Such a shame one of the very best bands back in the day operation mind-crime and empire are two of the best albums ever
This band is done shame there's so much bad blood between them!
I bet Geoff Tate gave this comment the only like it has LOL! I take that back their new album "Digital Noise Alliance' is amazing so many great well written and recorded songs the best in years and their last one too!
Strange how they are saying almost the same thing about Scott as they did about Tate whenever go minus the drama Tate brought.
I call BS and they better have their ducks in a row to prove everything.
Scott was more then willing to be a part of the band again, but LaTurd wanted one of his friends in the band on drums. I think LaTurd is holding the leash and the others just follow along like lost I puppies.
I agree,Tate/DeGarmo/Rockenfield would be much more Queensryche then the cover band itself that can't write lyrics for shit. After the first half of the songs it's just a repeat of lyrics on 90% of what they have released with Todd. Never cared for him and never will. Time to hang it up and call it a day already.
He should remember he is only there cause of what they did in the past without him! Whether you like them or not after Degarmo left they still continued with that name!
@@scottscott7801 Agreed on most of what you said. Todd needs to be taught a hard lesson and thrown out along with Casey, the one who can't play anywhere near the caliber Scott could.
LaTurd has a huge ego,I'd say worse then what Tate had and likely the reason Scott bailed, can't say I blame him. His attitude sucks balls.
When Chris came back for Tribe, you can instantly tell which songs he had his hands on and which ones he didn't. Chris brought the magic to QR and it was over after he left. Just another name now.
Used to be a huge fan of them, but Jesus Christ, stop with the bloody lawsuits, from all parts. It's all you hear now with them, sad, really sad.
Has become a real shit show of events.
Omg! This is terrible, cause lately? The band is more about drama, than it is about the music! And speaking of which? They’ve slipped bigtime as they no longer sound like they once did, only sounding like every other mediocre band out there and not the standout thing they used to be! It’s sad what they’ve become, time to say goodbye!
This band has turned into not only a joke but basically an embarrassment. They are nothing short of a cover band and to be honest whether it's queensryche, skid row, pink floyd or any other band we grew to love were all sick of the he said she said bs.
Last three albums are really good.
@@uhill74 Garbage WOKE lyrics in their songs in last couple of albums. No thanks . Just as bad as grunge crap .
@@vickhones9961 I didn't catch onto the lyrics yet. That sounds sucky...but the songs are well composed
Lol, no loyalty, friendship means nothing in this band........first Tate, now Rockenfield
Tate was no saint....
I.M.O. Todd should continue with his SOLO work ( WHICH IS FUCKING GREAT) and Michael and Eddie move on to another project.. But who am I to say whats best...LOL.
The two unimportant musicans now own the name of queensryche. What the fuck
So sad that it turn into a drama festival
I want to see this lineup. It’s “Judas Priest” plus cost that sucks
Even after Tates ugly departure, they're still fighting among themselves. Tisk tisk!!
He didn’t abandon anything.
This channel has no idea.
Holy frick Queensryche are becoming the new version of Judas Priest. 1-2 original members and lots of animosity. Both bands need to just stop. Anybody know what Scott is doing now?
Scott became a snake.
@@metallion0738 yea ... you would know.....
I’ve headed Scott may be dealing with some issues that let’s say people can struggle with when in a band. Does anyone know if this rumor is even true and has he managed to finally seek help if it’s true? It would be terrible if that’s where all the band’s money was going.
its crazy how bands thnk they can change singers ther r only a very few of them that have change the singers cause of stuff out of ther control but ther r only very few like acdc i hate when bands do that and for me. queensryche they would not be who they r if it was not for ther reg singer
He probably couldn’t afford to keep his wife from not working and putting food in his baby’s gullet wit QR earnings. Damn shame QR was great in the heyday.
Goes to show ya that rock n roll is all fun and games...... until it becomes a business and money gets involved.
Loved this band. Saw them live many times. With and without DeGarmo. But just not the same. Haven’t followed them since Q2K.
same
I am not taking sides but come on guys get it together. Seems a power struggle resides in this band.
Can't blame Tate for this one!!
I only had interest in OG QR.
this sucks so bad, awesome band , and now just legal crap
You guys are destroying the legend you built. Cris had to leave because of the BS drama in the band. Then you canned Geoff, Now you canned Scott (Guess its strange that scott helped fire Geoff the same way), now its happening all over again.
God, stick a fork in it and call it done, QR is dead, please stop!
Why do they drag their dirty laundry out for all to see?
Wilton ? DeGarmo was the main writer of the early QR.
without question . . . .these guys though, they really do need each other the way it was almost originally, you can get away with losing DeGarmo, Kelly Grey performances you almost didn't even realize Chris was not there but no more than that can you lose because each member brought something so unique about their approach to their respective instrument , Scott Rockenfield was Massive in this way, his drum work is driving those songs kind of like How Neil was driving RUSH, each part is so well thought out, nothing is random and everything is purposeful and almost perfectly flowing
Eddie Jackson's tone is so friggin sick !
@@jeffreyhutchins6527 Mike Wilton was one of the main songwriters on every release from the EP to Empire. People think it was only Geoff and Chris, but that's not true.
Rockenfield should work things out with Geoff Tate, if possible, and then you pretty much have the same number of original members in both iterations of Queensryche. Then, fans just go see version that they prefer. Fortunately, I saw Queensryche when there was only just one, with all original members, less one, Chris D.
That's kind of what Yes was doing.
Saw Queensryche in their hey day great band doesn't make sense to me but $ will split the tightest of friends not to mention a band put together like the monkees
Wow I seen queensryche with Judas Priest in April I had no idea this was going on anyways Queensryche sounded amazing and so did Judas Priest
Not QR anymore
This ship has sailed. Stop riding coat tails. Move on
I was hoping these this trio would stay together there was still hope that the name Queensryche would live on but now with him gone it's just Michael and Randy and the other people
Sickening, at what happened to favorite band!🤮
This sounds about $510,000 we're talking about here.
Weird strory. Things are not clear yet.
No DeGarmo, Tatate, or Rockenfield need to F off!
Voting people off Queensryche island is common for Wilton and Jackson. They did the same thing to Tate and in doing so turned the band to crap.
It's hard for me to believe Scott would lie why would he ?
he's pretty much screwed himself.
@@randallfloyd4476 I'm thinking so he probably didn't exit with legal backup
Snakes lie all the time since he became one.
@@metallion0738 why you say that ?
Because money make people do stupid things.
