At age 69, my life is nearly over due to stage 4 cancer. I can sum up this life of mine pretty succinctly-
This is THE best trip I’ve ever been on, thanks in large part to the genius of Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and the rest of The Beach Boys. Thanks, guys. You made it such a joy. God bless you all.

Tell you guys an amazing SJB story , my sister and I went to a Beach Boys concert in 1965 in Vancouver , our fave song was SJB , in 2018 she passer away , as I was taking some of her stuff to her friends in Vancouver after her passing , I had the radio on , around 1630 driving up Marine Drive , alone in the car , I asked her to play SJB , as God is my witness , seconds later it came on the radio , love you Carey , Rest in Peace .

Well coincidences of course if true but as for the god stuff, why would cancer even be a thing if these gods were as omnipotent as religions say they are? Left all that nonsense behind as I grew up, just disappointed that we continue to wallow in the mud and wage wars over it. 😠

Brian with a beautiful voice and huge range before he almost destroyed himself, Al with a fantastic voice and then Carl who handled the highs amazingly. But on the highest notes and falsettos, Brian discovered Bruce, who basically replaced him in these positions. Mike didn't excel at anything.

Brian seems to be one of those musicians who lets his music do the talking. Maybe a little more confusing because he's a vocalist, lyricist, and songwriter, all involving words. When he's in an interview situation or just trying to come up with an alternate version in conversation, you realize that whatever he has, it's in the music. Comparing his everyday talking and describing vs his music is like comparing the travel of the caterpillar vs the butterfly.
