ABOUT VERONICA MARS
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.

Over the past few years, Kristen Bell has become my favorite actress. I loved her performances in Frozen and The Good Place, and I came to realize just how amazing, cool, funny, and sweet of a person she is. So last year I decided to go back in time to 2004 and watch her breakout role in Veronica Mars, while having very little knowledge of what the show was about. Within the first three episodes, the show had become one of my favorite shows ever and Veronica had become one of my favorite characters ever. The original series is just so charming with a perfect blend of serious drama, complicated mysteries, and lighthearted comedy. I'm so happy that we are going to be able to watch the continuing stories of Veronica, Logan, Keith, Wallace, Weevil, and the rest of the citizens of Neptune. Looks like I became a Marshmellow at exactly the right time.
Same, Kristen is my favorite actress and I can’t wait for this series.
Welcome to the club. I started with V.Mars and then The Good Place, but yeah, she's one of my faves.
I have to add her role as Elle in Heroes to your list of great performances of hers - I know some might say Heroes wasn’t that good after season 1, but I strongly disagree. And Kristen was one of the reasons it held up in my opinion! Can’t wait to see the new season of Veronica Mars! :)
philly_ sports the same happen to me and I’m taking this quarantine time (alone in my small flat in argentina, day 42..) to watch everything she’s done that I can get a hold of! And I’m seriously thinking about making a yt channel of exclusively her scenes. Her early jobs are great! And difficult to find.
Hey, you know what, it's 2024! I watched Veronica Mars as tinager and now 20 years later I still believe this is one of my favorite shows I rewatched sewerl times, and I LOVE IT❤

Her looking the same is a bit of nostalgia to get everyone to try it out and hopefully the storyline can keep us hooked as well as the first 2 seasons.
I watched this as a kid. I remember renting the DVD at my library and watching over and over again. Best show ever. I was so upset when it was cancelled. The WB or CW did them dirty.

Don't worry, the third season isn't as bad as people say it is, just not as good as the previous two, and that's largely due to network interference. Kristen Bell's performance is one of the greatest in television history, and she makes every single episode worth watching cause she's just that good. Veronica Mars season 1 set the bar a little too high, so it's hard for any season after that to top it. So definitely spend some time in Neptune and see what you like for yourself. 🤗

I have high hopes for this. The original had great stories, characters, and energy. I hope this can recapture the gold in the original without crushing it with forced sociopolitical overtones.

The first two seasons were AMAZING! The third season was hard to sit through and killed the vibe. I have really high hopes for this new version though
The third season was not hard to sit through at all and it was the most topical and ambitious of all of them. The entire show is about sociopolitical topics by the way, that guy is clearly an idiot.

I'm so excited! I only got into this show a few years ago and haven't gotten to see every episode despite really wanting too. Was hoping hulu would have it since its airing the new season. I've been bummed that the first 3 seasons weren't on Hulu. So now I can binge the first 3 seasons so I'm all caught up for the airing of season 4! Thanks hulu! 😚
Don't forget to watch the movie as well before season 4! There are also two books that take place after the movie :D
@@JenniferLynnIllustration I knew about the movie and while I haven't seen the whole thing I've seen tons of clips and read about it so while I still wanna see it I at least know what happened. I didn't however know there were books released. Good to know! Are the books vital to the storyline?

I have not yet seen news that she signed on for the new season and she's still not listed in the cast. That may be why they left her out of scenes from previous seasons. I don't know why she wouldn't sign on, or why they wouldn't be wanting to get her back. I only hope that she has actually signed on and they just haven't announced it to make her appearance a surprise. Wouldn't be the same without Mac.
I sure hope she comes back.

I loved watching the show growing up. Especially the first two seasons, I loved all of the characters, except Duncan.

Humans were made to be worshippers, but most people choose to worship things in the world like comic books, movies, celebrities, sports, concerts, etc. Instead of worshipping their Creator. You were created by God to give Him pleasure and to please Him and in return He will fill you with love, give you spiritual power, guide you through life, give you happiness, take away your depression, anxiety, and anger and on top of it all, He will love you like a son or a daughter and you will never be lonely again. The emptiness that you feel inside of your soul was created for His Holy Spirit and your body is a temple for Him to literally live inside of you. He even made you in His image and likeness. Until you surrender your life to Jesus, you will feel empty and useless.

Hopefully Veronica Mars uses the law and doesn't break it. Kristen Bell said in an interview basically Veronica is a hero this time. Where in the past she was an anti-hero.

Am I the only one still shiping Veronica and Duncan ? Their romance was so true, I'm a bit disapointed than Logan took over even the new season ..!
Veronica & Duncan were almost pure. They're each other first love but they would never work out after Lily's death. Both are changed. Veronica is more cynical now and darker. With every relationship Veronica has, she always tried to find some kind of normality, she always tried to be a "normal" girl with a normal boyfriend, but she isn't a normal girl, right? With Logan, she doesn't try to find this normality because he also has his traumas and darkening. I think that's why she always tried to push him away. Make sense Logan took over the place of love interest, he fits more to the story that Duncan.

Me too! I was so heart broken when Duncan left. I've never shipped Veronika and Logan. I always hoped for Duncan to come back.
