- Bright suns fulcrum agents! What's a gal to do when she's just not going to make it home to Batuu for the holidays? I build Batuu in my basement! That's right, 20 pounds of sand on the set later I'm sure I'll be sweeping it up until new years. After all sand is so irritating, and it gets everywhere, am I right?
Remember when I mentioned in my sewing plans for fall video that I had a secret project called project 83? Well, I made Luke Skywalker's Return of the Jedi jacket into a 1950's sheath dress. Don't worry, I'll be showing you how I made it soon!
And why yes, I did sew on every last one of these sequins by hand, because I can't let any idea go once I'm committed!
I hope you enjoy these vintage star wars inspired outfits! Some looks are a bit more Star Wars, and some are a little more vintage, but all were fun to make and pull together for all of you.
If you wouldn't mind making my Christmas a little more merry and bright, please consider sharing this video with some other Star Wars loving fashion folks in your orbit as it really helps the channel grow! Thank you all so much for your support!'

Thank you for watching! Хобби
Also I’m not seeing the new film until Christmas eve with my family, so no spoilers okay? 😅
do to pay/financial issues, we do not get to see it until at least jan 3, so we will definitely have to fight getting spoilers.
I watched the whole thing and am compelled to comment again. That last skirt, all I can say is Holy Cats!! Wow it's good.
Thank you!
You are one of the most criminally underrated RUclipsrs out there. The level of effort and skill you put into your videos is incredible. I can totally see you thriving as a costume designer in Hollywood. Wishing you much success in your career!
A big amen!
Agreed!
I agree
Absolutely!
Hear hear!
I want a Star Wars remake where all the main characters are fashionable vintage ladies
The adventures of Padme and her clever handmaidens is a film I'd see in a heartbeat ;)
Heck yeah!!!
The Jedi cream! The red dress! The black boss look. Too many to list here. I love them all. You never disappoint, Bianca! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💋💋💋
Thank you Jo!
I've always believed that calling a someone who is skilled, 'talented' really isn't a compliment, as their skills are usually the result of a lot of very hard work, research & learning, followed by even more hard work for a very long time. 'Talent' infers that they were born skilled & didn't have to try v hard. Whatever word *you* consider to be a compliment, Bianca, accept that from me, because I think your work is simply amazing.
This is so right. She is an artist always challenging herself and surpassing her last work. Needless to say I'm a fan!
Thank you Joanne!
Seriously. You are the whole package. Brilliant witty script, amazing backdrop, hilarious storyline. And that is BEFORE I talk about the clothes!!!! Genius, gorgeous and I seriously wanted every single outfit. I say we are not worthy, but I am greedy and just LOVE what you do!
Thank you Thea!
The force is indeed strong in you to inspire and craft this array of outstanding ensembles for practicing the spy business!
I agree
Thank you!
Every. 👏🏾Single. 👏🏾Outfit. 👏🏾Kills. 👏🏾
Thank you!
Not the look book we deserved, but the look book we needed. ✊🏻❤️
Thank you Nicole!
Never stop making these nerdy look books! They’re incredible!!
Thank you Kayla!
The force is strong with this one! I love everything about this, the set (wow) the clothes (perfect) and the commentary. I admire your commitment to sequins and sand. Bravissima
Thank you! It was interesting to be working with both at the same time without accidentally mixing the two!
I am utterly speechless!! That background is unbelievable! And the outfits! OMG Bianca I don’t know how can you keep surpassing each video but you do!
Thank you Carol Ann! I don't think I'll be able to top this one anytime soon, gotta take a breather now ha!
Ok, my mind is just blown! What? Star Wars? This was freaking amazing!!! I think video is THE BEST u have ever done! Thank you!
Thank you Denise! As is now clear, uh, I love Star Wars ha! :)
OMG! That last look took my breath away. You are the look book queen. I am completely mesmerized by your outfits and your talent. Please make a video where you talk about where these beautiful garments came from. Did you make them, thrift them, a little of both? You inspire me to treat myself with a beautiful vintage inspired look just because. Thank you again for your time and talent.
Thank you! I would say 90% of the clothes in this I made, I have a few behind the scenes videos coming soon!
This background is stunning !! 🚀
My wife saw the still and asked if she filled this at Galaxy's Edge!
We'll need another "behind the scenes" video to see how the set was done.
@@Lamdennison I could understand why :) Goes to show you how insanely talented she is 🖤🖤
@@IkOngkarSatNam Agreed !!🖤🖤 That would be such a good video, must have taken her hours
Thank you Marielle!
Terrific! I enjoyed this sooo much. Even more than Slytherin, and I didn't think that was possible.
Haha.I think it's a tie! :P
Thank you Elaine!
That last dress was perfection or should I say out of this world!
Thank you Alexis!!
I am absolutely in love with that exquisite black sateen dress with the white!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 omg I want allll of these looks!!!! I forsee a many sewing tutorials coming soon!!!
Thank you Charese! Sewing tutorials coming right up indeed! :)
Holy cow! I cant believe you made a star wars set! You have an excellent attention to detail.
Thank you! I was tired of being jealous of everyone getting to visit Batuu in Disneyland ;)
You never cease to amaze!! BRAVO!!!
Thank you Rosi!
only half way thorugh and love it all, but the standouts for me are the crimson dress and also the pencil dress, very svelte! Oh and the little bee on the back of the cape! Once again you have made a fabulous fashion show with an amazing backdrop :) PS. The black sateen with white turndown
That black sateen, with the double buttoned 'matron' front and white turndown - both gorgeous and deliciously severe - could easily have made it into the casino scene or the most exclusive and most malicious Imperial interrogation. A wonderful cover...
Thank you Kaz!
Thank you Larry! That particular dress was inspired by Luke Skywalker's jacket in Return of the Jedi just for fun
Loveeee love lovee
Another amazingly alliterative adventure 😉
Thank you! I did worry that "profoundly pear-shaped for the perpetually perplexed" might be going too far ;)
TheClosetHistorian - never! Your scripts are wildly entertaining, and your style is impeccable. Thank you for taking your time to create this beautiful content!
by far one of my favourites of your videos. well done!!!!
Thank you Kat!
Oh my lord! That black sateen with the white fold-down collar! What a fabulous video, in love 🖤
Thank you Ailsa!
Is it possible you have kept the best till last. You are amazing.
Thank you Kaye!
I’ve lost my mind over the tulle skirt! Omggggggg!!!! Sooo good.
Thank you Kimberly!
I INSIST you walk through how you made the galaxy gown. PLEASE. PLEASE!!!!
I may have a video on that one coming up ;)
Who is here 3 years later sharing this with someone? 🙋🏻♀️
Liked this off the thumbnail alone. YAAAASSSSSS!
Wow preparations for this video went completely under the radar! You amaze. Set, styling and sewing + filming + writing and editing my gosh
Thank you!
The last skirt.... I can't breathe... GORGEOUS!
Oh Yes! You are gorgeous here. Lots of talent and mastery. Best wishes always.
Thank you June!
You’ve out done yourself! Every outfit was amazing. The Luke Skywalker one was just fantastic, easy to make it look like a bound or not. And that flippin’ last skirt!!! I might need to make a version of that. Beautiful!!
Thank you! There may just be sewing videos coming up for those two projects ;)
The fashion is strong with this one. We shall relay your message across the galaxy. May the force be with you.

Thank you Leigh-Anne!
Seriously, I'm watching this every day from different devices and/or browsers to try to help your views and algorithms. You deserve ALL THE VIEWS!
I’m only 2/3rds done. It that sateen suit with the contrasting white! Omg!!
Plus I love that you’re getting to play with your love of safari colours in this video!
Thank you Paz!
This has to be my favorite video to date and hearing that they don't do well on youtube is sad! I love them, the creative and original content is amazing :}
Thank you Tricia!
This was so much fun to watch! I was smiling the whole time. Also, the black dress with the white turnback at the neck was stunning. That is what I call a head turner. Walk into any room in that dress and all talking will stop and all will look, and that's a good thing!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you Peggy! That dress is based off of Luke Skywalkers jacket in Return of the Jedi and I am so happy to have that collar figured out now to use in the future!
The last dress with the beautiful color circles has got to be one of my absolute favorites of your dresses! The video is amazing as always, as is the commentary.
Thank you Jennifer!
The set is amazing! That wrap dress... sweet! I wouldn't have thought to layer it for a fall/winter look too. There are too many pieces to choose as a favorite! Probably the commentary. "Shut up and take my money!"
Thank you! Once I realized I could layer the turtleneck under stuff it was a eureka moment for me planning this video ha!
DAMN DUDE. The effort you put into these is astounding, even just set design alone! Requesting any and all behind the scenes in your builds, both set and outfit wise!
Congratulations on another brilliant and very well executed idea. Thank goodness we're lucky enough to see things your brain comes up with. 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you Jo! I have a ton of behind the scenes stuff for this one coming up shortly! :)
Perfect video...the fashion, set , music!!! Love this!
Thank you!
I just read the description you’re amazing. 💗💗💗
I'm loving the alliteration in your commentary!
Also, I absolutely love the T shaped cut on your figure. I need to find or draft a pattern. These looks are simply gorgeous!
Thank you Amanda!
Love the set as well as the clothing!
Thank you Shirley!
Awesome! The outfits are all a delight, project 83 is inspired and that last skirt is amazing. Thank you for your wonderful videos, they are like going on vacation!

I always look forward to watching your channel bubs....Thank you! XxXxx
Thank you Jo! Thanks for all of your constant support
TheClosetHistorian Thank you doll! ❤️
She's done it again! All very lovely but the red over the black sweater and that black sheath dress with the white turndown both made me swoon - intergalactic gorgeousness!
Thank you Alix!
I’m definitely NOT a Star Wars fan - but that set is stellar, and your clothes are, as ever, perfect. So well done!
Thank you Kristy!
Bravo! You never fail to impress. This look book is absolutely out of this world 😉
The black pencil dress is outstanding with and without the white showing. My second favorite dress is the white one. I just love the space explorer ensembles, as well. You are SO talented!
Thank you!
This parallels beautifully with adventure style!
Indeed they are like cousins :)
This was great! Those clothes were so perfect. Hollywood missed a great deal when they didn’t call on you to help with costumes. I’m a fan of the first Star Wars and haven’t seen any of the others but I might just see it to compare your designs with there. Really a wonderful job! Background is good also!
Thank you! The "prequel" era films get a lot of flack, but the costumes are amazing! They look just as good in person too, as the exhibition came to Denver and I was super lucky to see them up close! theclosethistorian.blogspot.com/2016/11/star-wars-power-of-costume-at-denver.html
Bravo 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I loved everything!!!
Thank you Angella!
The nerdiness of this is truly inspiring
Thank you! I let my nerd flag fly here ;)
Did you make this set!? I have loved your other look books but this one is perfect.
Thank you Jane!
This video is amazing. You most have put so much effort in it! They should hire you to design sets, props and costumes for movies.
I love so many of these looks but the Luke sheath dress is my absolute favorite!!!!!
Thank you! I have always loved movie behind the scenes stuff so it has bled into my work a bit these days ;)
YEEEESSS!!! It's finally here! You did a great job Bianca, and I loved every minute of this video! With there be a behind the scenes video too?
Thank you Madison!
Can't believe the effort you put into this video
Thank you Karen!
I so enjoyed those pieces, everyone of them! you look amazing in them!! Thank you!! Merry Christmas!! happy New Year!!
Thank you Mina! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Just fantastic!! Love the merge!! 😁🤗
Thank you Debra!
I honestly love this. I'm not much of a StarWars fan but how you did these outfits were amazing.

The sheer volume of looks in these videos is 💯
Dear god I love this.

you keep doing such amazing things so frequently that my jaw seems to be permanently collecting dust on the floor! I don't even watch star wars but watched this anyway as soon as I was able to and damn!!! damn!!! That last dress is maybe my favorite, it looks amazing!
Thank you Miio!
Wow! I cannot believe how good this is! This is the best video I watched today. May the force of vintage style be with you.Well done my dear.( :

What an amazing set! Love all the outfits.
Thank you Maria!
So this is about my third or fourth time watching this because I can't get over how beautiful every single piece is! Great job, Bianca!!
This one inspires me to "shop my closet" for attire in order to attend a coming Steampunk Ball. I can see adding belts to khaki slacks and my pith helmet and boots are the way to go.
Your amazing backdrop is just . . . WOW!
Thank you Marie!
The black sateen and crimson dresses were to die for and the evening flocks, especially the sequin skirt were absolutely amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you!
@@TheClosetHistorian, you're welcome and Happy Holidays!
Oh my gosh! Love love love it! What a creative idea! And your set is amazing! Always a delight.
WOW!!
Thank you!
Brilliant! So creative! If Star Wars was made in1944 the fashion editorial would look and sound like this! Love it so much great great work :)
Thank you!
❤️ The set. OMG! Looks just like an old space ship!
Great Look Book. Every ensemble is fabulous.
"Devil-ishly Chic" looks my dear! :)
Thank you Darnelle!
So creative, beautiful outfits, and that set is WOW!!
Thank you Tiffany!
Rewatching this to get inspired before composing a character for Star Wars tabletop rpg. Yes, even when we're just chatting at the table, sipping Empire Cola, I still wanna look the part
Wòw, just wow!! The background set is amazing and you look gorgeous in everything, love all the galactic-style brooches and jewellery. That final sparkly skirt is absolutely beautiful. You put so much hard work into these videos and your hair and make-up is always fantastic!
Thank you Pamela! I love brutalist/atomic/mid century modern jewelry so it was a good excuse to bring out some of those pieces
Very well done. The commentary, clothes and set were perfect!
Thank you!
Once again, pure vintage fashion cinematic/narration genius; To be viewed over and over. I had to hit pause a number of times to get a good look at the subtle details. Bravo!! Standout fave: Black sateen dress w/ white turned out collar.
Thank you! I'll have some sewing videos for that one coming up soon! :)
Slayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! My entire wardrobe will be better just because of your wonderful videos!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you Angelisa!
as soon as you started teasing this I knew it was going to be great, but I didn't realize just HOW great!! the jedi robe dress!! the luke rotj dress!! the padme inspired senate gown!! you are SO talented and I'm SO glad you travelled to the galaxy far far away 💕✨
Thank you Olivia!
Oh! I love black satin dress with high collar. So good tailored! Star Wars and Orient aesthetics are so close to each other. And brown crop jacket with high waisted trousers - so in style
Thank you Kasia!
Seriously didn't think I could love you anymore and then you upload this! Its Perfection Bianca 👌👍😍
Thank you Bettie!
The set is amazing! And those outfits! I was thinking "how is she going to top the floor length skirt and beaded bolero" and then you appeared in the galaxy skirt...!
Thank you! Only more sequins could do it ;)
You’ve outdone yourself- this was impeccable! That dress with the blue top is so beautiful, and the black wrap with the contrasting white fold.... love
Thank you!
My dear you overwhelm me. You are a true artist and inspiration!
Thank you Diane!
Listening to this voiceovers really make me want to read your book. Amazing choice of words!
