Exactly what I needed in these troubled times. My favorite was the 18th-century inspired dress. I could immediately see the nod to that silhouette, but still totally wearable and breathtaking today! I also loved the gardening outfit with the purple sweater--it's great to see outfits that incorporate other colors as well as the main house colors. Something fresh! Sent this on to a Hufflepuff friend as well!
Thank you! That purple cardigan is wool and was quite warm to wear with the wool trousers as well, now that summer is here, but I wanted to keep the fall vibes of all 4 lookbooks consistent ha! ;)
I just have to pass on my happiness every time you post these- the work that goes into them is astounding, especially because I know you often make many pieces as well as the sets. The voiceover is spectacular, the outfits are stunning, and you're a wonderful entertainer and craftsman. Thank you for sharing with us!!
MY HOUSE! PUFF PRIDEEEE! I love all of them! And, thank you so much, Bianca. You are amazing and wonderful. Much of my chosen family is Trans or non-binary and it makes my heart a little easier to see this.
The Renaissance comeback! this is literally my favourite piece I've ever seen. put the peplum jacket and all the bishop sleeves are just *chef's kiss*. I love everything.
I think this is an interesting mix of outfits that 'feel' more stereotypically hufflepuff- that plaid scarf, that tartan pleated skirt- and outfits that are your own typical sharp style with hufflepuff accents. That yellow fabric that you made several pieces out of, like that 18th century inspired set, looks like it has an interesting texture, it makes me want to touch it! You've managed to make me appreciate a bunch of outfits filled with my least favorite color, yellow, so congrats!
Thank you! The yellow taffeta is indeed an odd texture, kind of puckered, which I imagine is due to the stretch content in the blend. I would have rather it been smooth, but it's fun this way as well too!
Ooh! Be still, my Hufflepuff heart. These looks are stunning. My faves are the yellow skirt with the scarf, the black wool suit, and the floral dress. 💛🖤
As a house Hufflepuff I’ve loved all your house dedications and this one is simply stunning! You did the Puff proud and inspire me every day with your sensational style. Thank you xx
Every outfit was wonderful, but I love the first dress and the incredible floral dress so much. The pops of yellow/mustard were just lovely and eye catching!
before i even get started in the show, i have to say how i enjoy your attention to detail! in the opening credit, i was wondering why you didn't center it better. then i remembered, duh, in the early days of film or in school films, the center was almost always off! lol. love it.
@@TheClosetHistorian this is true allyship and when my friend (who is trans) viewed this video he almost started crying. No one can take away the good experiences we had with this universe.
Full circle skirt, tartan plaid, OH MY! Love your ensembles & wish I could wave a wand and find them in my wardrobe, minus the lion & witch, of course!
Despite being a proud 'Puff, I've never been very fond of the house colors (yellow...bleh). This collection is making me rethink that--especially that 18th century inspired dress. Oh my, that was really lovely!
Thank you! I think the black is the quite a "harsh" color for Hufflepuff, when they are usually painted in softer earth tones and more "homely" (not in a bad way, but like, cardigans?...) things, but I found the contrast of yellow and black really inspiring. I like thinking about sharply dressed strong bolder hufflepuffs!
As various tests point me to being a Hufflepuff (I totally agree with them) I always look forward to seeing someone doing style inspired by the house - unfortunately I hate that colour combo. On me at least - I blame my colouring. On you it actually looks pretty good :) And thank you for putting all those helpful links in your description!!
You have inspired me to incorporate more yellow into my outfits. I can’t decide which of your outfits I love the best, they are all beautiful, thank you for sharing your creativity.
I was planning for this to come out earlier in the year when wool suits were a bit more weather appropriate, but alas the lockdown caused some delays in my schedule for sure! It's no fun modeling in wool in summer heat so normally I'd never dare!
My favorite is the velvet blazer set at 4:38. However, I love them all. I’m really surprised that I loved the yellow. I hope you know how amazing you are!You are so very talented! I love to see what you create and put together! I look forward to your videos for sure!
Oh these are just all so perfect, I particularly love the modern takes on the Renaissance and 18th C. I think I may even try to find one of those Renaissance styles. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful style and creativity.
Love this! I'm a Hufflepuff but I've always hated the house colors! (Yellow doesn't flatter me at all and my aesthetic is very pastel, blush, and neutral heavy.) I'm truly impressed with the unique ensembles you put together in the color scheme! And love the voice-overs as well. Great job! 👍
I've watched many of your other videos but never a Harry Potter lookbook until now. I don't actually know why I haven't, this was fantastic. Thank you for all the effort you put into your content!
I don’t think I’ve ever owned any yellow clothing (sad thing for a proud ‘puff!) but you have got me rethinking that! Also oh lawd your alliterative copy is amazing! 💜
Yay -the Puffs. Beautiful, amazing and fantastic. Still in love with that velvet jacket and your yellow dress is outstanding. How I adore your Lookbooks.
I love all your outfits and I don't even like yellow! And your history bounding projects - absolutely stunning! You have a great sense of style and all your outfits are on point, always a balance between edgy, fancy and classic!
I am so jealous. First, I can never find gloves. 🧤 But you have matching berets. Very jelly. I can also say I am truly appreciating the black and yellow, grey and yellow combinations. Now that we may be going back to work I have to see if I can find the right fabric and make something. Well done!
Thank you Vicky! Collecting gloves in different colors has certainly taken me years.I search them out on Etsy, but it can be hard to find them in my larger gloves size!
Excellent alliteration! As a hufflepuff, I will take one of each, and three of the renaissance inspired gown in black, grey and yellow. ;) Always lovely to watch!
What??? Paniers??? I was not expecting those and yet...fabulous! Such history-bounding whimsy. And kudos for addressing JK's recent and upsetting views.
Man I still love that khaki twill skirt. I know you got it out thrifting, but I vote for an adventure type skirt as a sewing project. There are some great pictures of Grace Kelly in skirts like that and I would love to make a recreation.
That beautiful 18 century inspired dress: you have outdone yourself 💛 💛 💛 the whole collection is gorgeous. I know you have done all the houses by now. But something inspired by Fantastic Beasts? There must be something for you to do 😉 🤩 💃🏻
