Yes digital nomad life style seems like great way to enjoy life and work at the same time. I work remotely, and my co-worker has gone on European tour while working at the same time. Only serious problem is I have to take my child to school every day and pick up, so it's viable only for unmarried or people without children.
Thanks for watching @springer-qb4dv! Kids would certainly cause you to think about options differently. Our kids are grown, so for us it wasn’t an issue. But we have met people with kids who approach it differently. One family with two school age kids work remotely but live full-time in a single location. The kids attend local school and part of that community. The other family has two school aged kids but they have been traveling for two-and-a-half years. To pull this off, they have committed to home schooling the kids while they travel. Of course, what’s right for some may not work for others. Good luck to you!!
We are considering moving our family of 5 to Madeira with three school aged children. It's not like your life dramatically changes if you change your locale, but it can change in small positive ways.
I looked into DN visas in over a dozen countries in Asia and Europe but decided against it. When I added up the fees, tax implications and documentation requirements, the cost and hassle outweighed any benefit. Because DN visas are new, many countries are slow to process and often change the requirements. It’s easier to stay 90 days, go somewhere else and return for another 90 days if I want. I guess I lean more toward the nomad part of the moniker.
Thanks for watching @lindadorman2869! A lot of people do just what you’re saying. It is easier from a visa standpoint for sure, but it does mean you’re on the move more frequently. Best of luck!
We are over 50 and have our own company. We don't even think about Visas. We just go to places for how long we legally can and move on.
Thanks for watching @rubbertoad3691 and I’m glad that works for you!

Better to slow travel ............... These new visa are not very good.
Thanks for watching @nineseven420empire3. Slow travel certainly lets you see more of a location!
