Thank you. I thought brown doors would have been lost in the overall look and I wanted to make them stand out a little. At first I tried a more true red color and realized it was too bright in contrast.
Thank you. I barely fit the keep on the foam core board. The theme of this build challenged me to incorporate even more detail than the last stronghold I built.
Thank you. I really liked how the doors turned out. Unfortunately, I am no currently gaming in a group, so in gaming pictures won't be possible. I though use this for articles or tutorials online with my website. Along with my facebook page and website I will have work in progress photos of how it came together. I am thinking of doing some gaming strategy videos in the future and this build will be a great backdrop.
i live in such a location that gaming groups are hard to come by. I can find magic players and such but my preferred games such as 15mm war games are hard to find but i still make terrain i have a tub full some good some meh. making it for 15mm is challenging because i don't get many opportunities for reference. But i enjoy terrain videos that give me ideas. thanks for the videos.
What a great way to end the project, with some really cool doors! Using the zip ties for effect was ingenious, as was your choice of color! However, l still think you have one more difficult decision to make. What project to start next. :) Whatever it is, l'm looking forward to it.
Thank you. The zip ties were a gamble and from the feedback I received, it paid off. I felt the door color had to reflect the theme of the build and stand out as well. I did like how the doors turned out and they have more depth and style than my previous stronghold. If I do doors for an elvish structure in the future, they will have to be fancier in comparison. Glad you are looking forward to what is next. I am either going to do something with some figurines or something dungeon related. Thanks again.
Love the red doors Kev. I'll have to do that on a future build.

Epic! The scale of this project is superb, and your attention to detail is incredible.
