Thank you for all the support & love! :-)
I may have to invest in one of these soon! Really like your videos man, very cinematic and also super informative.
Great review! I was unsure about what speed to go for, but you pointing out that you can easily just do the faster slides yourself has made me go for the 250. Thanks.
Great video, I really enjoyed the shots in the end :)
Thank you !
Konovo needs to sponsor you! Great job!
I just found your channel, and the only reviews I have watched so far are the Kanova ones, but DAMN... These are rediculously good quality videos man. 10/10 would watch again, and I loved all the detail and examples shown. You just earned another sub. Great video again, and keep up the outstanding work!
P.S. What fluid head do you use? Those are some of the silkiest smooth pans in any video. Your quality is rediculous. Thanks!
Thank you so much for those kind words man. I'm currently using the manfrotto 128LP fluid head.
No problem, just sharing my opinion on your work. Thank you for that info. I am surprised you aren't using something such as the Manfrotto 502HD with the tilt control so you don't have to really move it. Once again, thanks and keep up the great work!
Greg Development I recently uploaded a new Konova MasterPan Video. Check it out. It might be something that might interest you buddy.
I already checked that out before this one. Great work once again, just not an investment I'm ready to make right now. At my low level, I'd much rather invest in lights or a better lens than other accessories but thanks for looking out!
Great Video! This will be my next video equipment upgrade.
Awesome review! Loved the quality of this.
wow finally a motorized slider i can afford to buy lol great video brother
+Tek Overclocked thanks man!
Note: at 1:47 "If equipment is rather heavy, you should consider the MS-250 or 1500. Those Provide the most power, meaning the most speed." However, just past 2:00 you mention the 250 and 1500 cover less distance per minute. That would mean the 250 is medium speed and 1500 the slowest, rather than the fastest.
Do you have to do the timelapse calculations in your camera.
Great video review, you nailed it!
can i use this for time lapse on either nikon d800 or gopro4 especially night time?
how about noise ?? would like to purchase one for interviews, but impossible to know if it's noisy or not...
Does this motor automatically go back and forth? Or does it completely stop at each end where I have to touch another button for it to move again?
Hi! Is it possible to set a time of 6 minutes from the start to the end of the slider? Is the MS-250 the best way to go to do this kind of slow movements?
It seems I need to buy the bundle motorised also.
Were the sample videos shot at maximum or the minimum speed ?
excellent video, ive always been confused though, i wanted to ask, do you need the controller to operate the motor? I notice they sell them apart and together.
You definitely need the controller.
Should you for some reason, want to remove the motor, for a manual slide, can you you use the newly installed belt? Or do you have to re install the original, that came with the Konova? I have the 39" with the Nitsan Fly wheel, which seems to work pretty well.
Thanks.
BTW, great instructional video with most smooth artistic shots.
Ron
Hey! Very nice video! When in automatic mode, does the slider turn to opposite direction automatically? So that it could go on from end to end continuously. Is that possible?
No that's no possible with the unit I have. But even if it were possible, I don't think the footage will be usable, because when the camera hits the end it "bumps" rather hard and it shakes the camera. Hope that helps buddy.
Still, it would be fantastic for interviews where you are using 2 or 3 cameras - just cut in the slider video while it is smooth...
Add the parallax system for incredible video
Really great review, I now must figure out a way to get this slider and motor... And dolly! Sheesh!
That was a great Review man. I wish I could put that on my slider. Mane one day. P.s Bro you do such amazing work love watching you video.
is necesary the controller?
Great Video I think I will go with the ms-250. Did you upgrade to pan and tilt yet?
Yes! I bought the master pan which I use in some videos.
I have a video for it too, check it out!
Thanks for the video. Hey, will this motor take the camera all the way to one side, and then automatically go back in the other direction? I want it to be a continuous back and forth slide when shooting music videos so that I can cut to that cams shots when I want. I own the manual crank now, but may send it back to buy this as I've only got it for two days so far.
I don't think it can man. It only goes in one direction automatically.
+TrustMacintosh OK, thanks. I have the K2 slider (4 foot) and just bought the crank for $205.00. I'm debating about whether or not to send it back and buy this motor instead. Any pros and cons on that? I haven't really tested the crank yet, but I plan to today. Thanks again.
i just bought it from B&H and it does not come with the remote control and power supply for the motor!!
where can i buy those things?
i am on the phone with B&H and they have no clue about the motor or power supply
+GabakTech - Cursos de Computación Gratis amazon has it, I have some links in the description. Good luck.
TrustMacintosh i wanted just the controller.
ppl from B&H sent me the link now
i got it
thanks
Thanks for amazing review! With ms smart motion kit but can you shot time lapse and also regular video?
can this be used for timelapses?
AMAZING REVIEW!
True Dat! :-)
Does it work on battery? With no cables connected?
you can buy the battery separately. This lets you go in the field
Do you have a link to the music?
Hi, does the motor makes a lot of noise or is it silent enough for use with live sound recording?
I'd like to know as well. Would an interview subject be able to hear it?
This is a fairly noisy motor, and is definitely picked up by the on-camera microphone. If you are using a wireless lavaliere, you will be fine. However, best to use independent audio, such as the Zoom H4N, and sync in post production using the camera microphone as scratch audio.
*****
Thanks for the feedback. I'm concerned about distracting interview subjects with the noise. The subject will be mic'd, so I'm not worrying about motor noise in the recording. Worried about distracting someone already nervous about public speaking.
Is it soundless?
Great Review man!!!
By the way, please, where did you found the music of sample video? NICE!
Question regarding the speed. I have read official specs, but 2 times in this video it seems that motor has travel almost whole length of slider in much shorter time than 51 sec. Can you confirm fastest and slowest speed of 250 motor please?
Bojan - Haron Markicevic Did you ever find an awser to this question? I want to use this product for a photo time lapse that should be over the course of 45-1hr
i bought it, I don't know how to set it in auto back and forward unlimited.
please help
+GabakTech - Cursos de Computación Gratis that cannot be done unfortunately. At least not with what I have.
TrustMacintosh how can it be solved then?
do i need other remote?
+GabakTech - Cursos de Computación Gratis that I don't know. Sorry.
How do you keep the slider on auto mode to go back and forth on the slider on its own??? I can't seem to figure this out..
1. Turn on the controller and press "3 AXIS MODE" button, and then the LED of "3Axis" will be lightened.
2. Keep pressing "Left/Ramp" or "Right/Ramp" for at least 3 seconds, and then you can see the LED of "Power" will be turned off.
3. Press "Left/Ramp" or "Right/Ramp".
the motor will go back and forth continuously.
and when you press any button, the auto-moving will be finished.
Can I use the MS-250 motor controller for night time lapse? Like the milky waytime lapse?
I think that you dont, beacuse the lowest time is 860 seconds, its means a movement of 15 minutes, that isnt enought to make a good timelapse night, you need at least 15 sec for shot, so... this motorized is too fast
use the 1500 for time lapse. My 250 travels the distance is far less than 800 seconds, more like 120 seconds a the lowest setting I can get movement (about 7 out of 99).
You may want to complain to RUclips about their ads interrupting your youtube videos , ( An ad for edelkron plays just before your videos) I saw the ad and now ive decided on an edelkron slider..
its good movement work
Great Video.
Awesome video man!!
Ps: what's the name of the intro music? :) Thank you!
some of your links does not work
+GabakTech - Cursos de Computación Gratis Thanks for the heads up. I've fixed most of them now.
TrustMacintosh thanks
i did nt find the slowest one you said.
i do computer classes where i film myself and i would like an small movement in my classes because they are 1 hour long
what do you recommend?
maybe its just some jellycam but the shots seem jilted. you can almost see the individual frames or its motor movement. but they are not totally smooth
I believe it's the encoding with RUclips. If you download the video, and play say with Quicktime Player 7, or MPEG Steam clip, there's a big difference. You should not see any "jerky" movements.
Did you had to pay extra taxes for importing the stuff from Korea?
i will buy it thank you
seen this video on ebay lol
I am not impressed with this at all way to noisy , plugs are loose and not secure For the cost this is low quality. there are some decent things about but way to manyIssues needs to be redesigned & buy the way you don't have a rechargeable battery .
Xoxo t have

Product is NOT sponsored.
Konova sent the unit with no strings attached and I never received or demanded a cent from them.
They simply wanted an honest review from a RUclipsr. (They were interested in the exposure my audience would bring)
So rest assured that my opinions are honest.
