Great video, can this be used for timelapse footage?
Hey Justin, quick question: How would you rate the noise level of the motor? Do you have any issues with the motor noise being picked up my a mic when you're shooting?
What are the differences between the k5 and k2? If I have a sony rx100 can I get away with the k2 or is weight not the only thing to take into account. the price difference is 230$ which is quite a lot considering the k2 costs 640 dollars.
On a seprate note what tripods are good for using with it? Something that will hold the weight and keep it stable?
I have the k3! It's pretty nice. What did you do to your k2 @JTechappletv
how silent is it? If you were filming and had people talking would the sound of motor be picked up? Now when it comes to the end and kind of bumps does this also distort the video?
+Justin Tse You speak about video, what about time lapses. Is it possible to sinchronize the slider with an intervalometer?
hey there, is it silent enough for shooting an interview using pro-mics?
How loud is the motor for close video shooting?
Hi..What is the difference between (K5,K3 and K2)?I have slider Konova 150M But I don't know what is compatible with it.
I think the controller is shaped to fit long ways into the grooves of the slider when it's not in use.
Justin, at the beginning of the video you promised that later on in it you would show how it was extendable. You forgot to do this, and I am still unclear to if Konova sliders are extendable or not. Otherwise thanks for this video.
damn i just bought a rhino 2 and 4 foot rhino slider, $650 and not motorized! I could hae got a Konova slider with motor for around that
The slider looks choppy or the video is losing frames. Doesn't seem 100% smooth. Good review otherwise!
Aaron LeBoutillier It depends on how you are using. Have you ever tried that?
You uploaded from SF?
is it the motor thats not makeing it smooth
What is that noogle Android mascot do?
How's the noise?
slide shots doesn`t seem smooth, it`s choppy.
yep. but ppl. seem to be blind...
is it good for long timelapses?
i thought u had a nikon d7000....or was that somsone else? lol
Nah haha. Never a Nikon guy.
You were probably thinking of Alex from Everything4ipod. I use the GH4 but 70D as a backup.
This slider is a piece of junk!, I bought two of them and had to return both to amazon. The motion was not smooth you could hear metal on metal friction and the slider bound up in the middle of the slide. I attempted to adjust it according to Konovas poorly written instructions and that was no use at all. I contacted Konova and received a very arrogant response that showed no concern whatsoever about making a customer who had two bad experiences happy. I would not recommend this piece of junk to anyone!
I Thanks to KONOVA Video Support Systems. who is indian delar.
+Burra krishnamohan Why you thanks?
I want this SOOOO bad...
whats his camera?
Price?
But what's better, you ask? A skater dolly and a piece of wood!
Edelkrone FTW
The t in often is silent man
No very helpful you talk about cable management and you don't sow the cable setup
What?? I don't understand the point of this??? Why don't you just get a wide range lens or move the camera back and use the moving motion when editing... it saves WAY more money
Moving motion needs digital zoom, which would either mean you need to shoot in much higher resolution or you'd loose quality with the zoom, not a preferable option.
