Again, this is an excellent update for the RTS genre. Thank you. Hyperwar looks graphically like next green RTS. I am not against nostalgia, but even Indy devs have no excuse to use ancient graphics.

DORF and zerospace news are always welcome, I am craving to be able to play Zerospace and its new improvements. As for the Godsworn bit I kind feel the devs missed the point of the early acess in a way; I wished they could just waited to deliver a full game as I dont know if the early acess killed people interest. still a good game that I hope could has solid multiplayer in future.

Empire Eternal looks exactly like what I've been waiting for since the death of the Empire Earth franchise. As cool as many of these are every time I get Sanctuary news I'm always eager. I have such high hopes for that game.

@@perafilozof Well, certainly the combat is a bit... obscure at time. Poorly explained and don't give you enough information, flaw they fixed in the sequel (though this one isn't free). Still, for a very first game, I would say it's decent.
Dawn of the Tiberium Age is one of those mods I enjoy playing, RIGHT up until the point where the difficulty spikes into "30 Year Veteran" Mode. Cuz I haven't been playing CnC for that long.
@@perafilozof I suppose my only real experience with that would be from things like DoTA and Mental Omega. I don't know if games like Warcraft ever had any mods comparable to total conversions like CnC did
I like to think of Castle Story being the 'cute' version of Cataclismo! It's a shame the devs stopped with Castle Story. It was a lot of fun but was had some rather annoying bugs. I'm glad we have a new game that's similar vain to it now.

@@Anttown123 A lot of games: some alpha version testing for RTS developers, feedback on demos, playtest and betas. In addition to many older games I check out for potential on future videos. And when I want to relax and have some time to myself I play a match or two of Beyond All Reason or Clear a map in Diablo 2:R.

I tried Welcome Back Commander demo, its a very original take on the RTS genre but the Demo is so hard I hardly manage to survive a few minutes, I hope the devs will re-balance it
Can someone help me regarding godsworn? Cause I dont find a lot of information about it, how many factions (and what kind of factions) are there, what are the heroes abilities and what units does each of the faction have? How long is the campaign currently and what are the difficulty options?
Hello, it has two factions right now. Several heroes in each one. The camping is playable, but not finished, more missions will be added. You have ability trees from which you choose abilities as your hero levels up. There are several difficulty levels. You can join it's discord for the latest news and patch notes
Thank you very much for your hard work on this one ! -Godsworn still needs more work, I'm gonna wait until the game goes further in development. It's great, well made, nice graphics and all but I'm still not convinced yet (though I bought the game so that should be enough to prove I cared and supported them) -DORF looks better and better, glad to see how well it goes. -Diplomacy is not an option has been in my library for a while and now it's out, time to play more except ... Nostalgia got me with Dragon Ball, I was always a huge fan since it first air in 1988 so it's all my childhood there. -ZeroSpace looks nice... please let this be a great game and not another stormgate =/ -Endeavor looks amazing too, the UI is ugly but it's still early in development so it's very promising. -Empire of the ants is another game on my watch list, it could be fun, Empire of the Undergrowth is already pretty cool. -SOASE 2: played more than a few games here, updates and mods are going to do that game a lot of good. -AOM Retold: Wow, the chinese faction looks amazing in this trailer, that will be fun. (I still need to launch the campaign and avoid skirmish...) => Sad AOE 3 is closing MP, weird decision when there is still 5 to 6000 players daily. (8 to 9000 for AOE 4 and 15 to 17000 for AOE 2) + they released a dlc not so long ago for AOE 3 DE so it's pretty sad for people who love it. -Battle Realms just got a new update, it's not very popular, unfortunately and updates are slow but I thought it was still worth talking about. -Northgard, speaking of update, I tried the latest and it's definitely too hard or I'm that bad... I don't know, it's disappointing to wait for a new mode and getting wrecked over and over, not being able to enjoy the mode because of the difficulty. I did rage quit it after a few try. Also, technology tree being locked doesn't really help. -Sanctuary Shattered Sun looks so impressive, it will be a hit that's for sure. -Liquidation is going well it seems, so glad they continue in the right direction. After everything they went through, I wish them a lot of success and I'll be waiting for their game too. -Cataclysmo is a mess for me, it's hurrying to build a fortress and not caring about how good it might look as long as it holds !!! Jokes aside, the game is pretty fun, more maps would be welcome. -Heart of Muriet is a game I was hyped for seeing how nice it looked but after trying the last demo, I was so disappointed :( Not of a fan of the mechanics, I unwishlisted it and deleted it, hoping never to hear again about this game... Well, if they reworked everything, it was the right decision IMO, I'll watch how it develops. -Age of Darkness is amazing and multiplayer will be super fun I believe, really excited to play this with someone. -Falling frontier: is it me or does it look like a downgrade from previous video? I'm cautiously optimistic for this one. I don't know about other titles, so many titles to keep track of already, if they're successful and well received, I'll definitely look at them too.

As for FF, it is a transition period going from non original to original assets. It will take some getting used to. While for Battle Realms, I didn't see the update, so I will check that out now
@@perafilozof It's an update from August 22nd actually so it's been a lil while now but some hotfix were deployed for that update. It's not an important update (well sorta) they added colors and tweaked balance again. They also added some new options in the menu for graphical options. The thing is, the more they add, the more they understand the code and succeed to modify it. They once said in a stream that would like to add new faction with campaign eventually but first, they need to succeed to modify the game, see what's possible etc. (and much was already done with new graphics, new UI, netcode, etc.) So, I'm hopeful that more will come. (at this point, it's really a work of love rather than anything they make money of I think) As for the balance stuff, the game has been modified a lot since it was released on steam, it's far from the version we once had years ago. Actually, the game doesn't even play the same with healers, gear skills, etc. It really requires a few games before you start to understand what is the new way to play (before I was taking the wolf clan ,spamming werewolves and it was enough to make a pack destroying everything in it's way, doesn't work anymore... Same with Samurais for the dragon. Or how you can produce peasants at a faster pace with multiple "townhall") I like to come back to it once in a while but it's hard to get used to all the change forcing to be more tactical with micro-ing. As for FF, eeh, we'll see, they have so many problems, I don't know how it will turn out in the end compared to what was advertised. If they release a new trailer, it will be nothing like what they presented years ago. It's just my feelings right now, not really trusting them yet. Hopefully, I'm wrong again.
Ah I see. Thank you for that info, it will certainly come in handy when I prepare my next video. The devs having to go through that old code is a true horror job, with so many things going wrong depending on which tread they pull with each new update.
@@perafilozof Indeed, from what I saw on some dev stream it was pretty complex but they're definitely getting there. It's a game I wish to be successful :) A great RTS of old which is loved by it's devs. If only War Wind could receive the same love ! (and so many other old games I wish would come back remastered)

perafilozof question I have this freezing problem with my laptop. I don't understand why. After a game of any type after 5-10 min. it just freeze. Done anything I can think of. Update's done. Virus scan. With this laptop I don't pirate ANYTHING. Command prompt of sfc scan done. I even go to PC shop to give this laptop a "Bath" under it hood. The last option.....Full system reinstall....
Broken arrow is doing well with the devs and im ok with them doing this i have it on steam wishlist but i can not play it duw to softwere problems on my pc but on my new phone typeing this so yeah.

Why no gangsters 3 Organized crime.. looks like devs just do sci fi nowadays.. sci fi and fantasy.. Wish we could have some realistic crime strategy game, like Gangland, Gangsters 1, The boss: La cosa nostra..etc

Hi, there is an AI made for internal testing and alpha stage playtest. But they have yet to start working on the AI that would ship with the game and be played by customers. It is something they plan to work on later.
imagine if some studio made game like Hyperwar with a budget of hundreds of milions ... maybe then ... we would get real not next gen C&C but AT FUCKING LEAST current gen game ... so many RTS games are just shit and the only option is to play 20y old games .. that is just fucking sad! ... but hey fifa 3589, cod 9875 and AC 8753 are here, huray ... ffs ...

Man, every time I see Ashes of the Singularity I am disappointed all over again at how bad that game is/was. So much promise, yet so utterly poorly executed and boring. Looks pretty good but that's about it.

Empire Eternal looks exactly like what I've been waiting for since the death of the Empire Earth franchise. As cool as many of these are every time I get Sanctuary news I'm always eager. I have such high hopes for that game.

@@perafilozof Well, certainly the combat is a bit... obscure at time. Poorly explained and don't give you enough information, flaw they fixed in the sequel (though this one isn't free). Still, for a very first game, I would say it's decent.

Dawn of the Tiberium Age is one of those mods I enjoy playing, RIGHT up until the point where the difficulty spikes into "30 Year Veteran" Mode. Cuz I haven't been playing CnC for that long.

Warcraft has a lot of mods and game modes made by fans. Similar to SC2. But not as hard I think
I like to think of Castle Story being the 'cute' version of Cataclismo! It's a shame the devs stopped with Castle Story. It was a lot of fun but was had some rather annoying bugs. I'm glad we have a new game that's similar vain to it now.

@@Anttown123 A lot of games: some alpha version testing for RTS developers, feedback on demos, playtest and betas. In addition to many older games I check out for potential on future videos. And when I want to relax and have some time to myself I play a match or two of Beyond All Reason or Clear a map in Diablo 2:R.

I tried Welcome Back Commander demo, its a very original take on the RTS genre but the Demo is so hard I hardly manage to survive a few minutes, I hope the devs will re-balance it

Can someone help me regarding godsworn? Cause I dont find a lot of information about it, how many factions (and what kind of factions) are there, what are the heroes abilities and what units does each of the faction have? How long is the campaign currently and what are the difficulty options?
Hello, it has two factions right now. Several heroes in each one. The camping is playable, but not finished, more missions will be added. You have ability trees from which you choose abilities as your hero levels up. There are several difficulty levels. You can join it's discord for the latest news and patch notes

-Godsworn still needs more work, I'm gonna wait until the game goes further in development. It's great, well made, nice graphics and all but I'm still not convinced yet (though I bought the game so that should be enough to prove I cared and supported them)
-DORF looks better and better, glad to see how well it goes.
-Diplomacy is not an option has been in my library for a while and now it's out, time to play more except ... Nostalgia got me with Dragon Ball, I was always a huge fan since it first air in 1988 so it's all my childhood there.
-ZeroSpace looks nice... please let this be a great game and not another stormgate =/
-Endeavor looks amazing too, the UI is ugly but it's still early in development so it's very promising.
-Empire of the ants is another game on my watch list, it could be fun, Empire of the Undergrowth is already pretty cool.
-SOASE 2: played more than a few games here, updates and mods are going to do that game a lot of good.
-AOM Retold: Wow, the chinese faction looks amazing in this trailer, that will be fun. (I still need to launch the campaign and avoid skirmish...) => Sad AOE 3 is closing MP, weird decision when there is still 5 to 6000 players daily. (8 to 9000 for AOE 4 and 15 to 17000 for AOE 2) + they released a dlc not so long ago for AOE 3 DE so it's pretty sad for people who love it.
-Battle Realms just got a new update, it's not very popular, unfortunately and updates are slow but I thought it was still worth talking about.
-Northgard, speaking of update, I tried the latest and it's definitely too hard or I'm that bad... I don't know, it's disappointing to wait for a new mode and getting wrecked over and over, not being able to enjoy the mode because of the difficulty. I did rage quit it after a few try. Also, technology tree being locked doesn't really help.
-Sanctuary Shattered Sun looks so impressive, it will be a hit that's for sure.
-Liquidation is going well it seems, so glad they continue in the right direction. After everything they went through, I wish them a lot of success and I'll be waiting for their game too.
-Cataclysmo is a mess for me, it's hurrying to build a fortress and not caring about how good it might look as long as it holds !!! Jokes aside, the game is pretty fun, more maps would be welcome.
-Heart of Muriet is a game I was hyped for seeing how nice it looked but after trying the last demo, I was so disappointed :( Not of a fan of the mechanics, I unwishlisted it and deleted it, hoping never to hear again about this game... Well, if they reworked everything, it was the right decision IMO, I'll watch how it develops.
-Age of Darkness is amazing and multiplayer will be super fun I believe, really excited to play this with someone.
-Falling frontier: is it me or does it look like a downgrade from previous video? I'm cautiously optimistic for this one.
I don't know about other titles, so many titles to keep track of already, if they're successful and well received, I'll definitely look at them too.

As for FF, it is a transition period going from non original to original assets. It will take some getting used to. While for Battle Realms, I didn't see the update, so I will check that out now
@@perafilozof It's an update from August 22nd actually so it's been a lil while now but some hotfix were deployed for that update. It's not an important update (well sorta) they added colors and tweaked balance again.
They also added some new options in the menu for graphical options.
The thing is, the more they add, the more they understand the code and succeed to modify it. They once said in a stream that would like to add new faction with campaign eventually but first, they need to succeed to modify the game, see what's possible etc. (and much was already done with new graphics, new UI, netcode, etc.)
So, I'm hopeful that more will come. (at this point, it's really a work of love rather than anything they make money of I think)
As for the balance stuff, the game has been modified a lot since it was released on steam, it's far from the version we once had years ago.
Actually, the game doesn't even play the same with healers, gear skills, etc.
It really requires a few games before you start to understand what is the new way to play (before I was taking the wolf clan ,spamming werewolves and it was enough to make a pack destroying everything in it's way, doesn't work anymore... Same with Samurais for the dragon. Or how you can produce peasants at a faster pace with multiple "townhall")
I like to come back to it once in a while but it's hard to get used to all the change forcing to be more tactical with micro-ing.
As for FF, eeh, we'll see, they have so many problems, I don't know how it will turn out in the end compared to what was advertised. If they release a new trailer, it will be nothing like what they presented years ago. It's just my feelings right now, not really trusting them yet. Hopefully, I'm wrong again.
Ah I see. Thank you for that info, it will certainly come in handy when I prepare my next video. The devs having to go through that old code is a true horror job, with so many things going wrong depending on which tread they pull with each new update.

It's a game I wish to be successful :) A great RTS of old which is loved by it's devs.
If only War Wind could receive the same love ! (and so many other old games I wish would come back remastered)

I have this freezing problem with my laptop. I don't understand why. After a game of any type after 5-10 min. it just freeze.
Done anything I can think of. Update's done. Virus scan. With this laptop I don't pirate ANYTHING. Command prompt of sfc scan done. I even go to PC shop to give this laptop a "Bath" under it hood.
The last option.....Full system reinstall....
Usually when it freezes after a few minutes of use it means it is overheating. Maybe one of your fans, the one one the cpu is dead?

Hi, there is an AI made for internal testing and alpha stage playtest. But they have yet to start working on the AI that would ship with the game and be played by customers. It is something they plan to work on later.
I don't like the fact they took down Age of Empires III classic. I will still play the DE but scummy move.
From what I understand they had to axe the old multiplayer, and probably didn't want to end up with selling just half a game.

Man, every time I see Ashes of the Singularity I am disappointed all over again at how bad that game is/was. So much promise, yet so utterly poorly executed and boring. Looks pretty good but that's about it.
