My favourites, in no particular order: Zero Space(backed that one on Kickstarter), Tempest Rising and Rogue Command. I am also looking forward to D.O.R.F.
WarOS looks like it will be really fun and interesting. Fleet combat with ground forces and boarding enemy stations while building your own station sounds like a full package if they pull it off.
If I had to pick one? Crown of Greed - huge fan of the Majesty games and the greedy heroes! Whilst watching (and demo trying) most of the other games, WarOS looks a very interesting concept and something that's a little bit different.

Not sure if you have already or if you’re planning to, but in case you haven’t. Two really cool hybrid games that should be covered. “Total Conflict Resistance” and “Silica” are RTS/FPS games that are still in development but are showing some really awesome progress and it would be cool if you could highlight them.

Yep, definitely, but for me the one issue with the original C&C that the infantry is hard to read during high unit count, and had the same feeling with the demo back months ago, and the latest trailer has a different vibe, the units movement, sizing, readability more closer to SC2 ten before! But just the trailers makes me think that!

If I recall correctly, advanced units' movement we have seen in Industrial Annihilation and BAR also present since Planetary Annihilation no idea who do it first but it's great mechanic, I really want to see in every RTS game.
Pretty sure the units in the video also tried to autoskirmish, strafing unpredictably. Autoskirmishing is more of a feature recognized in Zero-K. BAR is more about microing, unlike the Zero-K version of these two Spring engine/assets games.

@@perafilozof I found spherical map of Planetary annihilation to be annoy but I like the idea of loop battlefield for RTS game. but if you mean compare ZK and BAR I would prefer BAR just because it more simpler to understand how each thing work and I'm kind of prefer BAR graphic (Even I wish their unit to have more detail similar to Mechabellum XD ).
I bought the whole 8-Bit (armies, hordes, invaders) haven't tried cross faction games yet but Im sure its gonna be fun because how much I enjoyed Invaders, waiting for a full release of ZeroSpace
Panzer Strike has that beautiful retro esthetic going on but the tank icons kinda ruin it. My suggestion to the devs is to remove the icons above the tanks and add a small bar to the interface, maybe just above the command menu in the bottom right where they can show how many of each unit is selected, and with a click select only one type of unit since the icon seems to imply the unit type. Pera this video released on 24th(~midnight) and IMMORTAL has the playtest from 22nd-24th, this is a blemish on your good record 😜 Of the upcoming great games Tempest Rising and Borken Arrow seem most promising. The attention to details like what Industrial Annihilation has is something that should be a must in gaming, it really elevates the experience, as opposed to Age of Respair and Dinolords where buildings pop up. I like a lot of games on this list, but other new promising & underrated RTS/tactics game development updates should inc the upcoming new DLCs for starship troopers terran command, and terminator dark fate defiance
I've been playing a LOT of Rogue Command! It scratches both the RTS and the Roguelike/-lite itches at the same time for me. Unlocking new units, like the engineer types (your commander), harvester types (armored and armed harvesters, anyone? :D) or just new units and upgrades to draw inbetween fights (gatling tank with Vampirism is AMAZING!) is a big part of replayability. And the design is good too! Sure, it's simplistic, but you can immediately tell individual units apart, even in groups. Plus, it even runs smoothly on my 2016 PC with a Geforce 1060! XD

IF they make it right i hope to play a lot of Age of Respair because it's like what stronghold should have done and listed to the fans and love the dinolords because of the Dinosaur twist that's cool(loved the jurassic park movies and tycoon games)! Iron Harvest it's good, but i really wanted a game with that type of theme with higher scale battle combat and more focused on base building ..but you can't get everything :) and i can't make it my own because i don't have time with my job! Love this channel you are my RTS/Base-building newspaper !
Industrial Revolution's resource management isn't that convoluted when you think about it. If you have resources and you need them for production then you need supply lines to get the resources to production facilities then to storage for use. Ammo for defenses and (possibly) units isn't that different. Extract resources linking them to production facilities supplying ammo depots linked to defenses to maintain a defensive perimeter. It's essentially getting things from point A, to B, then C.
Hi and thx for sharing your thoughts on this. That is all well and good, and maybe even in singleplayer you can find the time to manage it all. But for multiplayer... it is hardly going to be possible for a human to keep up with. What are you playing right now?
@@perafilozof Graviteam Tactics. And the only way I see logistics management becoming a problem is if you, the player, make it a problem by not pacing yourself. Try to multitask what you can see and do all at once and you will falter. You can only strive to be faster at switching tasks effeciently.
@@perafilozof one more thing. IA not getting "pages" from BAR, they both just have same predecessors. In Planetary Annihilation already was macros allow you "cover the line" command for units, and other even more unique things.
Sudden strike 4 is GOLD 🥇 I have bought every DLCS from them on sale long time ago. It's a banger game man....I just finished German campaign of base game. I have also bought 🔍Ancestors Legacy on sale and its DLC.
In the case of Age of despair and Dino lords Just so you know Stronghold also has the instantly place building instead of building animations so its inline with the genre.
Hi, this is something other people have commented on. But honestly, I feel like we should be past such gameplay in 2024. I believe it was done more as a way to get around limitations or lack of resources for game production, rather than by design.
if im not wrong, annihilate the spance must be the once flash game i used to play, as the way the ships look an the gameplay looks extremly similar to the one of that flash game.
You're probably thinking of Obliterate Everything - it's a different game, but yes Annihilate the Spance is indeed directly inspired by it. ATS is kind of our attempt to create a spiritual successor to OE and to add some more in-depth mechanics while keeping the general gameplay style recognizable. Sadly the developer of OE, cwwallis, passed away not long ago, but he knew of our game and even helped us out a bit in the very first stages of development.
Indie developers are toping AAA companies left and right. Because developers who let themselves be part of AAA companies can't do their work as they used to. Thx for the comment!
Zerospace looks the best to me & is easily my most anticipated new RTS, followed by Tempest Rising (especially after player current playtests & Betas). After playing current play test for immortal Gates of pyre, I loved the concept & art direction, but found the playtest especially UI quite dissapointing. IMHO Battle Aces's gameplay looks way too simple & MOBA like to interest me without any interesting lore or world building

I felt the same way at first but was pleasantly surprised by Battle Aces after playing the beta tbh... it isn't without its issues but it felt good to play overall. Also there does seem to be quite a bit of worldbuilding but it's all kind of in the background at the moment and difficult to find; I hope they add a singleplayer campaign or something of the sort which will allow that side of things to be explored more. I am a bit worried about their monetization but they seem to be receptive to feedback on that so fingers crossed.
issue is most will prob never be seen on console to unlike the legend supreme commander which actually ran on console200 units per player we need a successor and some of these took inspiration form it i can tell hope one succeeds sanctuary looks interesting it straight up looks like supreme commander even map wise

Hello! I have mentioned it in a few videos before. But... honestly that game just feels mechanically wrong to me. Like a lego set that just won't fit and you don't have enough parts to finish any idea you have... that is the best way I can describe it.
Do not buy Iron Harvest, I backed the game just as they were wrapping up their Alpha testing stage and little no progress was made between the Beta and release build. The game is poorly optimized with clunky combat. You'd have a better time playing Company of Heroes when it's on sale for the same price but it comes with all it's DLC for 5 bucks.
Thank you, some very good game incoming indeed. Many great games on the horizon once again. (Well, it's been a while since we had great things on the horizon but I hope we'll get a closer look at them soon) Industrial Annihilation looks really cool as I love automation games but how good it turns out to be in RTS remain to be seen. I'm afraid of their kickstarter direction and how they added / tried to add microtransactions in the game. Which makes me think, ZeroSpace and Immortals might turn out like stormgate. Sanctuary and Tempest Rising are still the most interesting and impressive right now. (and DORF) I added WarOS, Atre and Crown of Green on my wishlist, they seem pretty nice. Crown of Greed has that "age of darkness" feeling I really like, loved majesty too. Still need to try updates to a few games especially the one of Sins2. From one info to another, I remove games from my wishlist as I feel like they're going to be disappointing but when the devs add interesting update which fix my worries, they come back.

But I have faith in ZeroSpace. Immports, I am not sure, there seems to be a very engrossed following, but not huge, so the numbers have to increase to make them feel live with enough players.
@@perafilozof We'll see but I tend to stay away from Free to Play titles, always trying to milk players one or another... Best way to do that is to create frustration which exactly what most games do. I guess we'll see what all those titles will be like on release but most of the games you present smell very good.
@@mesarthim640 I totally get you about Free to play. I have been avoiding them for decades now, but than again, I don't have time to play even all the Buy to play games :) The important thing is that the future is bright!

panzer strike looks interesting but the other two in the beginning I have no interest in playing. Darfall was fun. I am playing cataclismo right now and enjoying that as well. I beat the campaign and playing endless mode.
About Industrial annihilation, it remind me of the beta of Act of Aggresion many years back, it was extremly macro heavy with ressources in-map stockpiling and factories could only produce with the stockpiles near them so there was a logistic aspect to master. It wasn't very clear but I found it made the game very original and interesting. The thing is players absolutely hated it so the whole mecanic was scrapped and AoA ended up being utterly boring and unremarkable on release. Another case of giving players what they want and they'll turn it into shit.
Hello! Nice to see long time RTS fans who remember AoA! I was there like you, and the developers simply changed it too many times, driving away all the audience the game had. @@AaronBrown-po1rf Indeed, they used to be more often made, because more AAA game companies were the ones making them. Indie devs have a harder time making ports for consoles.
@perafilozof true that but all the money they have made over the year's and can't bring back RTS games apart from age off empires it's old I want an RTS games to come back that I dont get bored off easily and can play it for years
True, good point there. Personally, I feel like its time to move past that, and make it a bit more realistic, especially because I think it was more due to technical or time limitations rather than by design.
While I can't say for sure without having tried the game, the resource distribution system in Industrial annihilation feels really awfully unnecessary, I think it will become a micromanagement hell. Plus if one artillery shell lands on any connection between buildings, I guess everything will stop until restored...not sure this is a good idea.

@@perafilozof Yes, perhaps I am being too pessimistic, hopefully I am wrong. Right now I am playing the new AoE 2 DLC (Battle for Greece). Pretty neat.
@@Zerggodmaster Yes. Because some things need to change with time. There is no excuse to use the same resources and time saving tricks in 2025 game development that were used back then to make the game simpler to produce. This is one of those cases where a production trick was mistaken for a feature.
Sadly i couldn't playtest Immortal: Gates of Pyre, the game would load endlessly into the main menu. ps. About Age of Respite, have you noticed, that they use A LOT of assets from the stronghold games, like the Grannary, Mill etc.? I wouldn't promote this game any further, this one smells bad.

@@perafilozof What i've forgot, i wish we could get Iron Harvest 2. First game was pretty good but the gameplay and base building was a bit shallow and too fast paced.
Clearly not how you like to do these compilations but I'd prefer fewer but more in-depth updates. I don't know why some games are included if they're given just 20 seconds of exposure and a few sentences.

Total Annihilation! The Escalation mod brings T4 and other chaos such as missiles and shields. Excited for Industrial Annihilation as well, I'm excited for Naval stuff coming in that game!
@@B1GCOREI would exercise caution when it comes to industrial annihilation. Speaking as someone who bought Planetary Annihilation back then, Uber entertainment has a history of making some poor decisions. Though, I hope they’ve learned from their mistakes.
Broken Arrow was fun for the first few days, but cheating has become rampant. I'm not 100% certain that people have map hacks yet as it were, but there's some really suspicious shit going on there. I have however seen plenty of cheaters alied and enemy who have unlimited resources and can call in their entire decks at once. There's also a pretty terrible Russian bias in terms of balance. It's especially egregious when it comes to helicopters, artillery, and AFVs.
Hello and thank you for sharing your experience with it. Sure it will have lots of singleplayer and co-op content for us to play, but as you have seen cheating will ruin the MP experience. I hope the developers find a way to handle it. I have seen few USA players as well.

Industrial Annihilation is made by the same people as planetary annihilation. Honestly just a shame, because these people have been making games with great potential for more than a decade now, but they refuse to maintain any of their games whatsoever.

I tried Crown of Greed demo and while graphics looks nice the gameplay itself is lacking ir should I say gameplay is horrible and needs a lot of polishing. Huts costs too much, heroes inteligence sucks and tutorial force you to play in its way.
@perafilozof To be honest I didn't tell devs but many other people wrote their opinions and conclusions - most of them similar to mine. As for RTS there are a lot I anticipate to play but whether my PC is able to is different story. Still Tempest Rising, Destroy The Spance, Sanctuary Shattered Sun, Rogue Command, Dying Breed and Industrial Annihilation are games I am waiting for. I would add D.O.R.F and Dust Front, too. There was also one other RTS called Liquidation Echoes of the Past but developer seems to be a moody person so I don't think he will succeed. For me however Tempest Rising ( demos played), Destroy The Spance and Industrial Annihilation are games I must add to my steam library whether PC allows to play them^^ As for Sanctuary and Space Zero I don't think my PC can launch them :(

Oh, I am sorry you think so. I feel like there is a lot of variations. From games which take away unit control, to units with major macro to the ones with maximum micro and tactical combat. @@perafilozof Then it shows you can't see the forest from the trees. At least half of these games look virtually identical, you show them to any layman and they're not going to be able to tell them apart. You gotta show a bit more awareness.
My only point with tempest rising is, the maps look too small. Too small roads and choke points. Comand & Conquer had a very arcade base build and combat, but... it had scale, economy and tactics using terrain. Maps were big. But TR looks very small. Everything looks nice. But the maps look small.... Iam hyped, but afraid of that. Actually more hyped about Broken Arrow. I started liking Simulators more.
Hi and thank you for sharing! Taste in games changes with age, time and ability to play. It is perfectly fine. TR is just build differently, and if you end up feeling like its not for you, that is totally OK. There are so many RTS games coming out and in development now, that we can finally choose!
@perafilozof i will play it nonetheless. Its like, to be perfect for me ? Maps would be "bigger". At least for what i can see. But i will still play it. Maybe find bigger maps for skirmish. Game has to be very "bad" generally, for me to give it a pass.

If I had to pick one? Crown of Greed - huge fan of the Majesty games and the greedy heroes! Whilst watching (and demo trying) most of the other games, WarOS looks a very interesting concept and something that's a little bit different.

Not sure if you have already or if you’re planning to, but in case you haven’t. Two really cool hybrid games that should be covered. “Total Conflict Resistance” and “Silica” are RTS/FPS games that are still in development but are showing some really awesome progress and it would be cool if you could highlight them.

Yep, definitely, but for me the one issue with the original C&C that the infantry is hard to read during high unit count, and had the same feeling with the demo back months ago, and the latest trailer has a different vibe, the units movement, sizing, readability more closer to SC2 ten before! But just the trailers makes me think that!

If I recall correctly, advanced units' movement we have seen in Industrial Annihilation and BAR also present since Planetary Annihilation no idea who do it first but it's great mechanic, I really want to see in every RTS game.
Pretty sure the units in the video also tried to autoskirmish, strafing unpredictably. Autoskirmishing is more of a feature recognized in Zero-K. BAR is more about microing, unlike the Zero-K version of these two Spring engine/assets games.

@@perafilozof I found spherical map of Planetary annihilation to be annoy but I like the idea of loop battlefield for RTS game. but if you mean compare ZK and BAR I would prefer BAR just because it more simpler to understand how each thing work and I'm kind of prefer BAR graphic (Even I wish their unit to have more detail similar to Mechabellum XD ).

Panzer Strike has that beautiful retro esthetic going on but the tank icons kinda ruin it. My suggestion to the devs is to remove the icons above the tanks and add a small bar to the interface, maybe just above the command menu in the bottom right where they can show how many of each unit is selected, and with a click select only one type of unit since the icon seems to imply the unit type.
Pera this video released on 24th(~midnight) and IMMORTAL has the playtest from 22nd-24th, this is a blemish on your good record 😜
Of the upcoming great games Tempest Rising and Borken Arrow seem most promising.
The attention to details like what Industrial Annihilation has is something that should be a must in gaming, it really elevates the experience, as opposed to Age of Respair and Dinolords where buildings pop up.

I've been playing a LOT of Rogue Command! It scratches both the RTS and the Roguelike/-lite itches at the same time for me. Unlocking new units, like the engineer types (your commander), harvester types (armored and armed harvesters, anyone? :D) or just new units and upgrades to draw inbetween fights (gatling tank with Vampirism is AMAZING!) is a big part of replayability. And the design is good too! Sure, it's simplistic, but you can immediately tell individual units apart, even in groups.
Plus, it even runs smoothly on my 2016 PC with a Geforce 1060! XD

IF they make it right i hope to play a lot of Age of Respair because it's like what stronghold should have done and listed to the fans and love the dinolords because of the Dinosaur twist that's cool(loved the jurassic park movies and tycoon games)! Iron Harvest it's good, but i really wanted a game with that type of theme with higher scale battle combat and more focused on base building ..but you can't get everything :) and i can't make it my own because i don't have time with my job!

Industrial Revolution's resource management isn't that convoluted when you think about it. If you have resources and you need them for production then you need supply lines to get the resources to production facilities then to storage for use. Ammo for defenses and (possibly) units isn't that different. Extract resources linking them to production facilities supplying ammo depots linked to defenses to maintain a defensive perimeter. It's essentially getting things from point A, to B, then C.
Hi and thx for sharing your thoughts on this. That is all well and good, and maybe even in singleplayer you can find the time to manage it all. But for multiplayer... it is hardly going to be possible for a human to keep up with. What are you playing right now?

And the only way I see logistics management becoming a problem is if you, the player, make it a problem by not pacing yourself. Try to multitask what you can see and do all at once and you will falter. You can only strive to be faster at switching tasks effeciently.

@@perafilozof one more thing. IA not getting "pages" from BAR, they both just have same predecessors. In Planetary Annihilation already was macros allow you "cover the line" command for units, and other even more unique things.

In the case of Age of despair and Dino lords Just so you know Stronghold also has the instantly place building instead of building animations so its inline with the genre.
Hi, this is something other people have commented on. But honestly, I feel like we should be past such gameplay in 2024. I believe it was done more as a way to get around limitations or lack of resources for game production, rather than by design.

You're probably thinking of Obliterate Everything - it's a different game, but yes Annihilate the Spance is indeed directly inspired by it. ATS is kind of our attempt to create a spiritual successor to OE and to add some more in-depth mechanics while keeping the general gameplay style recognizable. Sadly the developer of OE, cwwallis, passed away not long ago, but he knew of our game and even helped us out a bit in the very first stages of development.

Zerospace looks the best to me & is easily my most anticipated new RTS, followed by Tempest Rising (especially after player current playtests & Betas). After playing current play test for immortal Gates of pyre, I loved the concept & art direction, but found the playtest especially UI quite dissapointing. IMHO
Battle Aces's gameplay looks way too simple & MOBA like to interest me without any interesting lore or world building

I felt the same way at first but was pleasantly surprised by Battle Aces after playing the beta tbh... it isn't without its issues but it felt good to play overall. Also there does seem to be quite a bit of worldbuilding but it's all kind of in the background at the moment and difficult to find; I hope they add a singleplayer campaign or something of the sort which will allow that side of things to be explored more. I am a bit worried about their monetization but they seem to be receptive to feedback on that so fingers crossed.

issue is most will prob never be seen on console to unlike the legend supreme commander which actually ran on console200 units per player we need a successor and some of these took inspiration form it i can tell hope one succeeds sanctuary looks interesting it straight up looks like supreme commander even map wise

Hello! I have mentioned it in a few videos before. But... honestly that game just feels mechanically wrong to me. Like a lego set that just won't fit and you don't have enough parts to finish any idea you have... that is the best way I can describe it.
Do not buy Iron Harvest, I backed the game just as they were wrapping up their Alpha testing stage and little no progress was made between the Beta and release build. The game is poorly optimized with clunky combat. You'd have a better time playing Company of Heroes when it's on sale for the same price but it comes with all it's DLC for 5 bucks.

Many great games on the horizon once again. (Well, it's been a while since we had great things on the horizon but I hope we'll get a closer look at them soon)
Industrial Annihilation looks really cool as I love automation games but how good it turns out to be in RTS remain to be seen. I'm afraid of their kickstarter direction and how they added / tried to add microtransactions in the game. Which makes me think, ZeroSpace and Immortals might turn out like stormgate.
Sanctuary and Tempest Rising are still the most interesting and impressive right now. (and DORF)
I added WarOS, Atre and Crown of Green on my wishlist, they seem pretty nice. Crown of Greed has that "age of darkness" feeling I really like, loved majesty too.
Still need to try updates to a few games especially the one of Sins2. From one info to another, I remove games from my wishlist as I feel like they're going to be disappointing but when the devs add interesting update which fix my worries, they come back.

But I have faith in ZeroSpace. Immports, I am not sure, there seems to be a very engrossed following, but not huge, so the numbers have to increase to make them feel live with enough players.
@@perafilozof We'll see but I tend to stay away from Free to Play titles, always trying to milk players one or another... Best way to do that is to create frustration which exactly what most games do.
I guess we'll see what all those titles will be like on release but most of the games you present smell very good.

panzer strike looks interesting but the other two in the beginning I have no interest in playing. Darfall was fun. I am playing cataclismo right now and enjoying that as well. I beat the campaign and playing endless mode.

About Industrial annihilation, it remind me of the beta of Act of Aggresion many years back, it was extremly macro heavy with ressources in-map stockpiling and factories could only produce with the stockpiles near them so there was a logistic aspect to master. It wasn't very clear but I found it made the game very original and interesting.
The thing is players absolutely hated it so the whole mecanic was scrapped and AoA ended up being utterly boring and unremarkable on release. Another case of giving players what they want and they'll turn it into shit.
Hello! Nice to see long time RTS fans who remember AoA! I was there like you, and the developers simply changed it too many times, driving away all the audience the game had. They should have stuck to one plan and keep the players that liked it as is, with minimal changes and improvements.

While I can't say for sure without having tried the game, the resource distribution system in Industrial annihilation feels really awfully unnecessary, I think it will become a micromanagement hell. Plus if one artillery shell lands on any connection between buildings, I guess everything will stop until restored...not sure this is a good idea.

@@Zerggodmaster Yes. Because some things need to change with time. There is no excuse to use the same resources and time saving tricks in 2025 game development that were used back then to make the game simpler to produce. This is one of those cases where a production trick was mistaken for a feature.
Sadly i couldn't playtest Immortal: Gates of Pyre, the game would load endlessly into the main menu.
ps. About Age of Respite, have you noticed, that they use A LOT of assets from the stronghold games, like the Grannary, Mill etc.?
I wouldn't promote this game any further, this one smells bad.

@@B1GCOREI would exercise caution when it comes to industrial annihilation. Speaking as someone who bought Planetary Annihilation back then, Uber entertainment has a history of making some poor decisions. Though, I hope they’ve learned from their mistakes.
Hi, from my understanding the team has changed somewhat and lets hope they learned from their previous development cycle.
Broken Arrow was fun for the first few days, but cheating has become rampant. I'm not 100% certain that people have map hacks yet as it were, but there's some really suspicious shit going on there. I have however seen plenty of cheaters alied and enemy who have unlimited resources and can call in their entire decks at once. There's also a pretty terrible Russian bias in terms of balance. It's especially egregious when it comes to helicopters, artillery, and AFVs.

Honestly just a shame, because these people have been making games with great potential for more than a decade now, but they refuse to maintain any of their games whatsoever.

Former SC devs doing a copy pasta from SC2 and WC3. I hate blizzard and activision but I also hate lazy copies.

I tried Crown of Greed demo and while graphics looks nice the gameplay itself is lacking ir should I say gameplay is horrible and needs a lot of polishing. Huts costs too much, heroes inteligence sucks and tutorial force you to play in its way.

@perafilozof To be honest I didn't tell devs but many other people wrote their opinions and conclusions - most of them similar to mine. As for RTS there are a lot I anticipate to play but whether my PC is able to is different story. Still Tempest Rising, Destroy The Spance, Sanctuary Shattered Sun, Rogue Command, Dying Breed and Industrial Annihilation are games I am waiting for. I would add D.O.R.F and Dust Front, too. There was also one other RTS called Liquidation Echoes of the Past but developer seems to be a moody person so I don't think he will succeed. For me however Tempest Rising ( demos played), Destroy The Spance and Industrial Annihilation are games I must add to my steam library whether PC allows to play them^^ As for Sanctuary and Space Zero I don't think my PC can launch them :(

Depends on how cheap it is :) All game have a bottom price at which they are palatable.

Oh look another dead on arrival RTS.
They almost all look like the same game with slight variations in detail and quality. They all play follow the leader, so they all end up failing.
Oh, I am sorry you think so. I feel like there is a lot of variations. From games which take away unit control, to units with major macro to the ones with maximum micro and tactical combat. @@perafilozof Then it shows you can't see the forest from the trees. At least half of these games look virtually identical, you show them to any layman and they're not going to be able to tell them apart. You gotta show a bit more awareness.

My only point with tempest rising is, the maps look too small. Too small roads and choke points.
Comand & Conquer had a very arcade base build and combat, but... it had scale, economy and tactics using terrain.
Maps were big.
But TR looks very small. Everything looks nice. But the maps look small....
Iam hyped, but afraid of that.
Actually more hyped about Broken Arrow.

Hi and thank you for sharing! Taste in games changes with age, time and ability to play. It is perfectly fine. TR is just build differently, and if you end up feeling like its not for you, that is totally OK. There are so many RTS games coming out and in development now, that we can finally choose!

Maybe find bigger maps for skirmish.
