@falseshepherd-490 nope haven't played it, just an initial impression based off of gameplay videos and trailers. I've played older ones, I was just staying within the last 10 years.
I think some of these will be also open world: Stalker 2 (loved Call of Pripyat) and Exodus. I watched yesterday the Exodus Mara Yama trailer with matthew mcconaughey and it was genuine horror, like Alien 1 (the movie).
Haha I wouldn't be surprised if you're right, those devs are infamous for running behind schedule. But hopefully they are close to their projected timeline this time!
@@LuckyGhostit’s going to be graphically obsolete by the time it rolls out😂 these devs spend so much time on graphics and take to long to release games that by the time they get them released we are 2-3 generations of gpus old and pc users with older cards can’t get the full experience. This is where console gamers try to claim superiority but have never played a game above 40fps lol. Great video btw!
@@nordictrolls the comment is regarding the subtitles on the screen during the video, when a game will be available on LINUX the subtitle says LINUS ... the creator of Linux is Linus Torvalds so partial credit there :D
Hey Lucky loved this video, 2025 has a full slate of survival games here's hoping it isn't too saturated. Atomfall - Love the Fallout series, so looking forward to another interpretation of the theme. Project Castaway - getting some Stranded deep vibes on this one Jurassic Park - Loved the original movie and loved Ark SE, so 'should' be pretty good definitely following this one. Polkyaris - Long dark vibes Outward 2 - loved the first one looking forward to this one too. Rooted - seems to be a good one to follow post apocalyptic is almost over done but with how this one is going with nature has started reclaiming the environment sounds good will be keeping an eye on development with this title. Terminator survivors - Robocop Rouge City was done well so here is hoping that same quality if not better gets put in to this title. T1/T2 are staples in sci-fi movie history, and hopefully that theme gets translated in to this game as well. Light no fire - Hyped for this one just with the track record and turn around on how No Mans Sky did. It's almost as great as a videogame recovery as FF14. Should be a fun play. State of Decay 3 - Been a fan of the series its more of a niche zombie survival series with a roller coaster of dev and playability but the devs have never lost sight of their true vision of the series. Dune Awakening - has my eye on it for being Dune. Hopefully the devs can get their story told proper in this title. it looks promising. Ark 2 - I was hyped for it when it was first announced what seems like years ago. It had promise but like you said, the dev is known for delaying. Also I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is way over budget too.
I’m drooling like a dog with a bone in his mouth for Light No Fire and Outward 2. I would also get Ark 2 but I don’t think that game is ever going to be released. 😢
Unfortunately, the title "survival game" is often misused. For a game to be a survival game, it must have the need to eat and/or drink or you will die.
a new game with mammots should come out nearly same like farcry primal,i see a trailer it have just 1 name but i forget name should come 2024 but iam sure i read they bring it first now 2025 damn i dont remember whats the name of the game
Won't be playing Ark 2 as they never fixed all the bugs in Ark 1 The hit boxes are still broken and it is still glitchy as crap. I bought it in early access first week and reinstalled it a few week ago to see if they fixed it and NOPE IT'S A DUMPSTER FIRE OFF A GAME!
couple of potential goodens. most are just cartooned or fictional so bit poo poooo for me. that rooted looked pretty promising. actually while im here, anyone know whats happening with a survival game called just us? been in wish list for like 3 years i think, still not out :(
We are doomed seems like 2025 is a sad year... at least 4 me . Nothing that catches my interest .everything looks like copy and paste low quality trash. They same thing like all. ARK 2 maybe.but i guess it will be a dissapointment.aaaand as we experienced last years ... the first year will be horrible beta again 😂 btw good video
I just wanted a good PVP survival game, I don't know why they invest so much in PVE games, these pieces of crap don't even last 1 month while PVP games last decades, yet they insist on releasing crap.
Is death and destruction supposed to be entertaining?? I am revolted by how these companies prioritize mindless violence over creativity and meaningful storytelling. They relentlessly pump out games that glorify annihilation and chaos, stripping away any semblance of purpose or positive engagement. It’s abhorrent to see the gaming industry sink into this cesspool of brutality, ignoring the vast potential to inspire, educate, and uplift players. Such a nauseating obsession with destruction not only devalues the art of gaming but also perpetuates a toxic culture that glorifies aggression. This blatant disregard for meaningful content is utterly contemptible and a shameful stain on the industry!
Plenty of games in today's market showcase creativity and storytelling. The games displayed in this compilation may not have done that, but that doesn't mean they're bad games, that's just not their desired gameplay loop. Not every game needs to be the same. Keep looking and I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy. I hope that helps!
@@Official_McStoven Next time, I’d love to see a compilation of games that truly empower creativity and inspire players to explore boundless possibilities. Think of games that encourage artistic expression, foster positive mental engagement, and allow players to create, innovate, and experiment freely. These could include titles where players are immersed in music creation, world-building, storytelling, and designing their own characters, quests, or narratives. Highlight games that celebrate artistry, whether through crafting, visual design, or composing soundscapes, and that offer tools for creativity without limits. A list like this could inspire gamers to see how limitless and empowering gaming can really be! Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for featuring Under a Rock! Hugs from the Nordic Trolls! We're working hard to bring Under a Rock to everyone as soon as we can.

Since i first saw it i felt in love with it. Looks sooo beautiful and fun. It's one of the games i looking forward the most ❤
That is the game I have been waiting on!
Looks great!
Thank you so much for including Under a Rock among so many great games! We really appreciate the support! 💙
Does look good
Project Castaways look like every other lost at sea survival game we've seen since 2015.
Then you haven’t played the old ones, or haven’t seen project castaway.

It doesn’t
I love that we are getting better versions of "Standed Deep" and "The Long Dark"
Some additions:
Towers of Aghasba
The Signal
Across the Wonderlands
Just Us
Primitive
Outbreak Island
Primal Survival Wars
ARK 2 will probably never come out
Yeah if vin diesel is it, then it’ll never come out
I can’t wait for State of Decay 3, Under a Rock, and Atomfall! Although, now I am going to have to expand my wish list.
Project castaway looks cool, looks like the movie Castaway too. Always appreciate your game release vids! Thanks!
Ooh, some of these I had not yet heard about. I am excited to see Light No Fire, Into The Dead and Atomfall. Maybe Terminator? Cheers Lucky.
Light No Fire is the game I am most looking forward to in the near future.
i hope project cast away improves a lot compared to deep stranded. but i what i really want is to slay some rexes in jurassic park lol.
couldn't agree more! both look really fun!
Light no fire and State of Decay 3! YES PLEASE

One of the 1st open world genre defining games Gothic is being remade with Unreal Engine 5 and I hope releases in 2025.
Sunkenland is a great game for anyone looking for an open world survival
Which one are you all most excited for?!
Jurassic Park without a doubt! Hopefully its not too scary otherwise I'll have to force my partner to play for me XD
