My Nex 7 has produced a great deal of beautiful images over the last 12 years. There is no compelling reason to replace it with a newer Sony model for image quality.
I have Fuji X-T3. And I don't like how A6400's videos looks compared to my camera. In some moments NEX-7 shoots looks better (that one with noise comparison and some others). The only real pro of these (especially NEX-7) cameras compared to my Fuji is their compactness! I would like to see how Fuji will make a really compact APS-C camera with all great features for photo shooting (maybe without 4k videos). Because X-Trans sensor is better in twilight. But they only tend to release some fancy hipster cameras like XVPro series (for "hipster" prices of course)! Actually still nobody makes a really great camera. I know that new bladeless fans exists (it's a relatively new tech.). These are very thin and acts like "breathing membranes". Maybe we will see some re-incarnations of super-compact cameras in few years (starting from 2024).
I`ve had the nex7, very good photo quality with a distinct look. However poor high iso performance with a lot of noise artifacting. Video quality was decent back then, but now i must consider it poor on the border of unusable. Also the nex7 is very slow, and has dismal autofocus in low light.
Thank you for your comment. The camera used to be very advanced for a mirrorless camera. Compared to today's cameras, it naturally performs poorly. Nevertheless, it still takes good pictures.
@@dawa5581I see. I'm wondering if the differences between the photographs could be attributed to the in-camera JPEG development. But, if you shot the images in raw and used software on your computer to develop them both using identical settings, then that is not the case. Thanks for clarifying!
Several of the NEX-7 images I actually liked better.
Thank you for your comment. 👍 The NEX 7 is still a good camera that takes great pictures.
Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the bussin' music @2:15
😄 thanks, that’s a chilling music.

The NEX 7 is still a very good camera. It was the first complete APS-C camera from Sony.
I have too
Wow, I didn’t expect this result 😮 very nice 👍

Thanks for your detailed comment! A mix between Sony and Fuji would make a great camera! 😉

@@dawa5581 It does take good pictures, with a distinct look.
I not use video - I only focus on photos and the nex 7 is better than A6400 in several ways - great photo quality
Thank you for your comment. The Nex 7 is still a good camera!
Thank you
You’re welcome 👍
Are you comparing raw images to raw images, or JPEG to JPEG?
I have shoot the images in raw and converted it afterwards in JPEG with the same settings.

@@HBNplague you’re welcome 👍
NEX 7 shoots 60p. Why did you shoot interlaced?
I wanted to show the video quality of both cameras with the highest possible resolution.
@@dawa5581 Ok. But the highest quality is 1080 60p on the NEX7. 28 mps vs 17
@@lingham2099 but I’ve shown 1080 60p in my video on the nex 7. Sorry, but I don’t get you exactly.
@@dawa5581 I thought the caption said 60i.
@@lingham2099 sorry, my mistake. It was 60p.
is it for sale?
nex7看起来不错啊😊
@@nono-d8o I already sold it last week 😕
