Interesting video. Personally, I think the 2 most important items, which I already have, are a permit to carry a firearm, and of course, the firearm itself. 38 caliber J frame would be my preference. Too many idiots out there. Nothing wrong with trying to earn a buck as a driver, but personal safety should always be a primary concern. An in vehicle video recorder should definitely be a top priority. Removes any "he said, she said" arguments.
They dont allow you to carry a firearm. I mean how would they know unless you used it. Just be prepared for a very long legal battle. That may not end in your favor. Good luck with that. Hope you never have to use it

My workplace prohibits guns on the property. If I was found to be legally carrying a firearm on company grounds, could I be fired? Absolutely. Arrested? Absolutely not, providing I left the property when asked.

I have a question what is the max radius of miles around you that Uber will send you a ride? I am new to this and it seem like on the first day I got lots of rides, and on the second day it went down and I went to the same areas that I got my first days ride, and for what most of my rides said is they use uber everyday to get to work and home, so I feel if you set up in the same area they won't send you the same ones. I do realize that they want the longest travel wise to make money but if I am 1mile from where I picked up a rider on day 1 and did that again I didnt get a rider. So I am trying to see how they work it, is it that they won't allow you to stay in one area all the time or what. I stopped at a friends place and got a ride notice I took it but by the time I got to my car it cancelled and so I did it again and same thing as soon as I got on the road it cancelled the rider. So is it a scam or what.

It's actually different in every state and market. I believe mine is 15 years old or newer. But when that happens I'll sell this one and get a used one that qualifies, and pay in cash of course!
