    Thanks! your tutorials are life savers. BTW you mentioned something about the octane scatter in this video. Do you mean this rug look can be achieved with just the octane texture setting?

    thank you very much, very nice tuto and looks nice result, i tried the same values, but what i got not same result..
    i spent on c4d 10 years, i cant to make a rug as good as 3d max!! i think maxon need to work more about it.

    Great as always! Would be possible a tutorial about this interior lightning? Everything gets a washed look I love.

      bit.ly/2Cqj7yL Here's the HDRI I used man! try placing lights on the main light source (the window in this case) or if you're using octane match the daylight with it, that should give you quite aggressive light passing through the scene and some nice shadows :)

    when i render in picture viewer the hair settings are different, if i render preview it looks fine

      Use a texture environment and set it to visible instead of primary environment or use an alpha channel! :)

      It's pretty similar, you just have to drag the hair object into scatter I'm pretty sure, I've only ever used scatter with it a few times. I've got a new hair tutorial coming out this week which just goes into it more deeply and how you can mix the hair mat with octane materials etc :)
