    That’s a great mindset! There is no such thing as easy money but there is money everywhere if you know how to get it. It takes times to learn, don’t think you can walk into anything and start making money right away, it can take several years sometimes.

Thank God always for your successes and failures, he drives you and enjoying your journey. BTW love that new truck, I should be able to get started in the first or second quarter of 2024. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Higher gvwr isn’t always better. When it comes to ram 3500 pickup vs 5500 cab and chassis, the 3500 pickup is actually more capable when it comes to max tow capacity. They both have a combination of 43k, just the 5500 is alittle less in combination.

    Along with leather, a nicer stereo and some other stuff the Lariat has Automatic Climate control as opposed to regular AC. With climate control you just set a desired temperature, like 70 degrees, and the car maintains it whether it's snowing or shining. Man, I love those things so much!!!

    • @Babylionhotshot
      @Babylionhotshot  8 месяцев назад

      Shoot I didn't know that lol imma have to play around with that now. the DUAL but throws me off but I do know it had great A/C and Heat along with the heated and cooled seats. Thanks for the Tip Russianbear

    • @russianbear54
      @russianbear54 8 месяцев назад

      @@Babylionhotshot just dial in the temperature that you want(70-72 is ideal room temperature) press “AUTO” and the car will maintain that temp on its own automatically until you turn it off. Dual zone means for you and the passenger to your right - that’s not uncommon in big cabs. Just press “sync” so your whole cab will be set at one temperature. Enjoy the truck, good call on getting an upper trim👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

    You mention overall length, what size wheelbase 550 did you get?

    • @Babylionhotshot
      @Babylionhotshot  9 месяцев назад

      Too Short lol If I could go back, I would have gotten the longer wheel base because the step deck cut my turning radius down worse than a traditional gooseneck would. Also my GVWR is 18,000 LBS and there was an option for a 19,500 LBS GVWR that would have allowed me to put more weight over my drive axel where the step deck portion of my truck is. Minimizing risk just a little bit more from me being potentially over weight.

      You better run with a fifth-wheel and register truck as a tractor, if you state will allow it. KY will not register a truck as a tractor. Do not go over 60’ in Indiana. Second hit is a $1k fine, then goes to $10k.

    Its only 18,500? The ram 5500 is 19,500....what am i missing here? You save on sales tax by using the truck and trailer for interstate commerce. The truth about hotshot trucking is very simple. Non cdl is mediocre. You bought a job. Cdl hotshot is stupid. You bought a problem. Irp plates, ifta, more wear and tear on equipment...the list gos on and on. Cdl holders should be in a big truck that can handle millions of miles. That f550 is going to beat ur ass going down the road compared to a 2500 or 3500. Get a big truck with comfortable living arrangements for the win. Nice truck though!
