90% of his goals were in the last 20 minutes of a game that ManCity was leading with two or more goals. Every time Alvarez started a game he was disastrous, that's why Pep rarely gave him more than 20 minutes per game when it mattered (not counting the useless Carabao Cup games and the silly games against bottom 5 EPL clubs).

He's a world class player in hiding. His strikes are so clean.
He's already scary as a player at such a young age. Cant wait to see his final evolution under pep. The kid has dynamite on both feet and his accuracy is unreal

He's been somewhat overshadowed by Haaland this season, but this lad is brilliant. I'd like to see more of him next season.
About 80% of his goals are so exciting to watch.
If we can keep majority of the team together it'll be a really scary team right there. Imagine an improved Haaland playing along with Alvarez; he'll get more starts and will improve too.

@@nourishcherish9593 He has good passes and pacing, enough dribble skills to be hard to stop, a nice long shot capacity and is a good finisher. Also, his pressure on the rivals is underrated, that's what gave City the fourth goal againts RM (he pressured Vinicius into losing the ball), and many goals in the World Cup. He will be a big football star.

Even before he made his debut for City, and then while he was on the bench (and had one of the best performances in Europe with almost 20 goals and 10+ assists) I was waging a war with a bunch of people who don't know nothing about football, explaining to them that Alvarez is a ballon d'or player! Alvarez has the best shot with both feet and from distance and from close range, the most powerful, the most accurate, and he uses 9/10 chances, it's absolutely unreal!! In addition, he also has the best break, center shot, free kick and cross in Europe.. He will win the Ballon d'Or in the next 3-5 years!

He still has a lot to prove at Man City. I really like him and he won everything but now he needs to prove he's worthy of being a starter and become the main figure of city's success. He's probably my favourite player right now so I'm not trying to belittle him but, its not so much of an accomplishment to win so much with a packed city as a sub who barely played in important matches. And obviously the Argentinian ream also had Messi and Di Maria carrying and other young rising starts like Enzo and MacAllister, but obviously he pulled his weight way more in the national team since he got the chance to play a lot.
This man is living legend, everytime i watched him come off the bench and then he scores, hahah fascinating😂
