Meat and Cheese Casserole

- This casserole is so easy to make. In the video I made almost 3 times as much as the normal recipe. One batch would be 3 pounds of meat, total.
1 pound each of any meats you’d like. I used a pound of each, chicken breast, ground beef, and breakfast sausage.
2 bricks of cream cheese
1/2 cup of bacon bits, extra for the top
1 cup of shredded cheese mixed in, extra for the top
These measurements can be changed to suit your tastes. Many people use ham or even pepperoni in this dish. I’ve also used taco meat for a Mexican flavor! - Развлечения

If you ever get “meat fatigue” or whatever where beef just stops tasting good. Try a 24 dry fast, or 48-72 hour water fast and it tastes amazing again haha😅

Try using slices of deli turkey or chicken and rolling it like enchiladas with beef and making enchiladas I just made some they're awesome with shredded beef that I cooked. And then I did ground beef and layered it like a lasagna and oh my god it was so good. With Raos sauce😊

You can put the pre-shredded cheese in a colander and rinse off all the non carnivore anti caking powder, drain and add to recipe without hurting the cheese. This looks really inviting. Thanjs
They put cornflour/powders in shredded cheese to prevent it sticking, best avoided.

Just watched Maria Emmerich lasagna recipe and she uses sliced cheese for ease and to avoid that problem. That could work for this and lots of other cheesy recipes 😊
In the United Kingdom, we use potato starch on our shredded cheese and not woodpulp!!!!!

For the past few years I've been making meat and cheese dishes with less and less pasta, rice, and bread. I've been experimenting with different cheeses and various meats and by far my favorite combination is bacon and extra sharp cheddar with a little pepper jack.

Does your packaged, shredded cheese contain any additives? What about the bacon sprinkles? We don’t get them where I live.
Can shred your own cheese or use slices instead. Can also make your own bacon crumbles if desired
Funny you popped up. I've been contemplating the carnivore diet for awhile. I saw your video on all of the bad oils😂 I made potatoes the other day in fry oil and now I have the worst break out of eczema I've had in a long time. My diet has definitely changed the past year and a half and can see the devastation it's reaked. The flour intake in itself has completely changed my bodies dynamics.

With the seasonings from the Jimmy Dean sausage, plus the tremendous amount of salt from all the cheeses... I'm sure this has more than enough flavor!
The good thing about recipes is you can change it to suit you and your family. You don't have to follow exactly what she does .

Don't have to count calories on keto/ carnivore. But you can always freeze individual portions.
Do u use butter or ghee or tallow on your pan before adding the meats?
Could but shouldn't need to with the fat from the meats

As someone prepping to start my carnivore journey I'm going to assume this recipe won't help with my weight loss goals but... DAM DOES THIS LOOK GOOD 😊
Dont be surprised if it does. Eating a serving of that will leave you satiated much better than eating carb heavy meal, and you won't be hungry again in an hour.
@@ArchStanton9 Thanks for the reply, was a long time since I tried a similar diet (Keto). But yes you're right, I'm familiar with the greater satiation from those types meals (higher protein & fat with super low carb intake). They really do keep you feeling full 👍

I'm curious to know where you get sausage without sugar and what brand it is?? I haven't been able to find any...
It has a bit of sugar. It’s really hard to find it clean.
If you have a meat grinder, sausage is easy to make. Or, you could buy ground pork and start with that. You can buy spice mixes for sausage or just Google "sausage spice recipe." Of course, you have the most control if you grind the meat and make your own spice mix, but you get the idea. It's doable. I make sausage from Boston Butt when it goes on sale for around a dollar a pound.
Look up the brand pedersons ! I found some no sugar sausages from them

Preshredded cheese often has potato powder put thru it to stop the cheese sticking together. Read lables.
I do read the labels, I don’t use it often. Sometimes I shred it myself.

@@greentree180hello. Woolworths has a brand called Drovers Choice mince and a 1.95kg or 4.3 pound packs is about $20. They also have twin packs of cream cheese for $10 per 500 grams or 1 pound. Cheers 👍
@@greentree180 you could make your own cream cheese, it’s super easy and so much cheaper, I use 2 litres of full cream milk. Ibe use skim milk as well (Use the cheapest milk I can find even used long life milk). Plenty of recipes on RUclips using all different equipment to do it so you can use the equipment you have. Because it’s a set and leave alone recipe it’s not really time consuming and the whey that comes off it when draining it can also be used in carnivore recipes.

Def not 350 for 10 min. I'm at 25 min now, still not done. I recommend 425 for like 15 to 20 min.
Not great… use 1-2 lb meat… here is 2.5 lb then adds like 5lb sausage and chicken…doesn’t tell us… lol very instructive, lol
Everyone prefers different flavors for this. I don’t measure for this, I just threw it together. That’s the point of this recipe. It’s good and easy.
