In this Pardon Me guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Incubus note-for-note.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
We will start with that instantly recognizable guitar intro by Mike Einziger. This is created by using volume swells and some nice sounding guitar effects. I will briefly cover those effects in the video.
From there we will cover every section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.

I follow several RUclips tutorial pages and I’ll usually watch several different ones when I’m trying to learn a song because everyone does things a little different. I’ve always found yours to be the most accurate. But you are all a treasure and it’s appreciated.
