moo cow - sadly, I guess they are entitled to their opinion or, maybe, they don’t like animals (I know some people who don’t). My father loved dogs, so we always had them in our lives, as well as rabbits, birds and fish. Just glad that there are rescuers throughout the world to help these defenceless animals have a better life. Have a good day and stay safe and well.

Sometimes you see other rescue operations - not that they are bad, the main thing is that animals are saved - but they are often very different in type. Eldad takes time and wants to build trust first. This is so incredibly important and helps the animals so much.
Why do I watch these? I'm a 27 year old man and I've cried watching most of these hope for paws videos. But I keep watching them because it makes my heart happy seeing a happy ending for these innocent little doggy souls

I've once read a story (Native American legend IIRC) that when you die, you have to cross a bridge to go to heaven. At the head of the bridge you will meet every animal you've encountered in life, and they will decide if you're worthy to cross.
I hope that you'll have a long and happy life ahead of you, but when it's finally time for you to cross the Rainbow Bridge, I think we all know where you're heading.

I volunteer with a chihuahua rescue, greatest ‘job’ I’ve ever had! I love watching these videos, Hope for Paws is such an awesome organization. The rescuers have a gift 😊. Most dogs, when they’ve relaxed a bit, want to be rescued. Dogs need other dogs. Especially Chihuahua’s. He’s so right, seeing their transformation can mean hope. Everyone needs hope.

I just want to cry when I see all these abused animals. We are a big family with animals loves. My kids have had dogs, cats, rats, goldfish, lizards and see even a snake (my son snuck him into the house!)...to this day they have dogs and cats that's are 10+ yrs old. We must teach our children to love all thing to help prevent future animal abusers!

There are dog, cat, and parrot rescues and sanctuaries that always need help. Parrots and dogs are amazing in their healing of our human condition, even when they are in so much pain and stress. Good luck & remember, you are never alone, many of us have issues and mental health problems.
+Gene Gottloeb - I couldn't agree more. To Sherborne Prometheus, Please take the wise advice from these people and volunteer at a shelter. Sometimes it can be heart breaking, however the other times will warm your heart and soul. I too was going through a dark and unhappy time when I found four newborn kittens without their mother. I called everywhere and begged, but no one would help me even though these kittens were running out of time. So I decided to save them myself even though I was already living with the two dogs and two cats I adopted. I nursed them with a dropper filled with kitten formula milk. I tried to feed them ever two hours though it was hard to do because of work, but I managed the best I could.They all pulled through and are now living in happy homes adopted by my co-workers. I found that rescuing them felt more like they rescued me.

Eldad you are an incredible human. I wept from the depth of my being for this precious precious animal, watching these rescues touches me deeply.
There is no greater healer then love and compassion and it costs nothing and brings so much in return.

I keep watching these vids like "I really want to do what you do" but I'm 14 so there isn't a whole lot I can do but spread the word... Now I've realised that I can volunteer at a shelter or possibly get a job at a shelter soon.
U can always fed some animals on the streets, u can be 13 or 31, it always workin`. Or tell about that animal in shelter. Its easy, just do something.
When I am older around your age I am going to volunteer at a dog rescue and when I'm older I will open up my own dog rescue because I love animals especially dogs they are my instinct

Physically Miley looked a lot like how my dog looked when I found her in Kazakhstan. She had the same wonderful transformation. The connection between Miley and Frankie was so beautiful.
What amazing rescues of both Miley and Frankie. The only thing that would have made me happier watching this was to see that they had been adopted together but it looks as if they went to separate homes. They had such a huge bond they shouldn't have been separated. 😢

(who I've never forgotten), however, all of them have taken a place in my heart. What would these animals do without animal rescuers like Eldad? Thanks for posting this update. I love the juxtaposition of her in the trash pile looking very sick and then a moment later in the video she's healthy and jumping up onto a soft bed. My wish is that all stray pets can once again enjoy the comfort of a soft bed and a full belly.
That special bond is formed because the rescuer is the first person they could trust probably in they're since they left their momma.

Our dog Marley was found at a dumpster in Greece in a very bad condition...
After quarantine he came to Germany and we adopted him.
He was very shy and anxious and he was afraid of men...
Now he's our baby since one year.
You would never believe it's the same dog...
He loves everybody and everything and men aren't a problem anymore.
He is extremly grateful and want to cuddle 24/7 😍😍😍

Let me tell you a little story about the sacrifice of a stray dog that defended me 35 years ago in a small town in southern Persia (Iran) we were building a house on the outskirts of the city. I noticed that a female and her cubs were eating from the leftovers. About eight months later, at night, as I was walking from the almost half-finished house to the city center, which was 3 to 4 miles away, I suddenly noticed 3 wolves are coming towards me (because my city is located on a plain between two parallel mountain ranges) A few feet before the wolves reach me, suddenly a herd of strong dogs with a number of about 9 or more took me in their circle of support. And every time two to three dogs attacked the wolves, after 5 minutes the wolves escaped. I still did not understand where and why these dogs were supported. Suddenly I saw one of them female and older than The rest of them clung to me and started wagging their tails. Then suddenly I remembered like lightning that this is the female and the rest of her cubs that I have left. I could not believe that was just for small food I did present them before . They accompanied me to my city and then went back to the plains. In Muslim countries, people do not treat dogs friendly. It is very rare and rare for someone to keep a dog at home, this history was the coolest thing of all In my life, I hope no human hurts any animal actually the Dog's because they are very kind and respect full friend's

Thing is, they only show the rescues that go well (with one exeption i have seen). But i am sure that there are many, where they dont manage to catch the dog, or the dog is too ill or injured to survive and dies shortly after. Thats hard to deal with.
I also like to watch videos from a channel called "wild life aid", an english organisation that saves wild animals. Simon, the founder, explained once, that around 2/3 of the rescues succeed, the rest end with a dead animal. In some cases he even has to kill an animal himself with a gun, when its injuries are to severe to be treated (he has around 40 years of experience under his belt to make the call and when in doubt gets his vet on the line). Sometimes they die or have to be put down at the clinic. I think the most touching failed rescue video i saw was when Simon drove out in the middle of the night into a forrest to save a badger that had been hit by a car. The badger had carried itself into small cave under a tree and it took Simon the better part of an hour to get it out of there. Once he managed to do so, he took it back to the center but when he arrived it took its last breath. You could see that that hit him hard, especially since badgers are probably his favourite animal.
Thats something you have to deal with in the job and i doubt that i could. I would be a wreck after each failed rescue.
Daniel, I'm sure there are many unsuccessful rescues, and using your own words, those are hard. I don't know that people want to see those, although, it would get the message out there, and open people's eyes to the reality of what they deal with. I'm an animal lover, through and through, and I don't know if I could deal with the sad part of rescue. We should be thankful that there are many people out there, that find the strength to do so.

You are gaining the strenght from the successful things and invest that into the sad things. If you are stable, this balanced good.

Daniel ..wildlife are by far the most challenging rescues. Every species has its own needs they all very different, which is what makes success more difficult.

This left me in tears, it's so amazing to see what you do. With everything going on in this world, my faith in humanity and the world itself shuts down day by day, the hate, the violence, the discrimination, but seeing things like this video, of what you do, leaves me in tears and makes me believe that there is more positive than negative in this world, whether that's true or not, you're just simply incredible and I thank you and whoever else helps to make this world a better place so so much.

The video with Miley was my first video I saw on your channel. It's cool to see that shes so healthy and happy now and enjoying life again. I couldn't even tell that shes a husky in the rescue video! So skinny and such bad fur.
I want to adopt at least 3 cats ( big dogs scare me ) when I get the chance. And of course they will be from a shelter. It's also a bit better in my opinion because you often know what personality the pets got ( when the owner gave them up there ).

We all were concerned about Miley when her mom passed away recently: but remember Miley was like a child to Toni. She had breast cancer before she adopted Miley, but beat that cancer.... She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out. Toni was a very responsible pet parent and she had a living Will so that Miley would be cared for in the event of her death....
To those who followed Miley's life on FB, remember; Miley's Uncle Art - He took Miley for hikes every day when Toni was not physically able to do so... She is one lucky doggie to have so many that love her... I know Toni was a big supporter of Hope For Paws and the rescue who took care of her adoption, Toni donated to many animal rescues, she truly was a genuinely beautiful human being..

You have a rare gift of not just rescuing, but you have a kind of an ESP with them; you communicate with them, and they with you. Thank you for all you do, Eldad. I think the world needs alot more people like this amazing guy. He gives all of himself to the desperate and broken. Spending so much time, on each rescue, reassuring the dog, and the amount of love he gives to them, truly is amazing. I do deeply,believe that he is doing gods work. Saving the lonely, lost and broken and giving them a new wonderful life. He truly deserves a HUMANITARIAN AWARD ! If i lived in that state, i would do my damndest, to ensure he was publicly recognized for the tremendous work he does. Unfortunately i live in a different country all together, but i am gunna see what i can do from here!.
