You are the most adorable lady. I just love to watch you😊 you always make me smile. Thank you for all the knowledge you have shared to make me so much better at canning!
I will be canning this up this week. Oh by the way I have an all American canner that got stuck. It was at about 11:00 PST. I call the number on my manual, and they answered on the 3rd ring. The gentleman that answered asked if I had use Vaseline or liquid oil. I told him Vaseline. He said that happens more with Vaseline . He told me to use the claw part of a hammer and GENTLY left up. Then using a Brillo pad scrub the area where I was placing the Vaseline. There is a thin film that’s there that I can’t see. I did just like he said, you could see the residual of oil on the canner. I only use olive oil now. Now when I finish canning 3rd-4th time I will use the old Brillo pad. I ♥️your channel Mrs H. I was only a water bath canner. Then I ran across your channel at the start of the pandemic. When everybody started canning, and you couldn’t find a presto canner. The only thing was a all American
THANK YOU for teaching me! After your video about the young ladies who started canning recently, I found the best way I could to order myself a pressure canner. I called it a Mother's Day gift to myself. I think your Balsamic Chicken will be my first go at canning. Wish me luck!
I love watching your canning videos. I've already canned tons of butter and Lemon Pepper Chicken. 😄 I will most definitely be doing the balsamic chicken. Can I ask a favor? Could you make a couple videos showing how you prepare your Balsamic Chicken and yor Lemon Pepper Chicken dishes for dinner? Thanks in advance. ☺️
YOU GOT ME CANNING MRS. HEART. THANK YOU!!! I have only done Grape Jelly to start but now I have more confidence. A year of watching you can got me motivated. Thank you.
That's awesome , reminds me that was the first thing I ever canned with my mom ! GOOD memories , she's been gone for 17 years but I always think of her and what she taught me when I can , she would have loved Mrs. H . and got a real kick out of watching her on this tablet . Technology has changed but canning is timeless ! Go for it !
I stayed up last night and canned this recipe. I used the marinade function on my vacuum sealer and that chicken is black. I had enough to get 4pints and I usually do a little 1/2pint as a taste tester/appetizer for me and hubby. I have just started canning a few months ago and I have done your chicken 3 ways, rice 3 ways, red beans with turkey, I am now doing squash, oh yes the lamb stew… potatoes with the basil😂😂 YAS!! I know I am forgetting something. Thank you
I canned 4 quarts of this last weekend, just had it for lunch today over rice. SO GOOD!! Thank you HH❤. You inspire me to fill my pantry with things I have never tried before . Love it!
My Mama and I both follow you. We come from generations of canners and have been doing so our whole lives. My toddler even gets in on the fun. You've given us such great ideas to expand our convenience meal canning. Thank you so much!
That looks really good. My husband doesn’t generally care for chicken, but I bet even he would like this. I’ll have to try it. I love your approach to teaching - you’re easy to follow, your explain things clearly, you emphasize those things that need emphasized, and you’re very personable. Thanks for sharing!
Yes please!!! 🥰 I’m about to order a pressure canner. I have a water bath one and I am still very new. The idea of canning meat freaks me out a bit because I don’t know what to do with it!!!
@@elizabethdobieprepper8132 you just heat it and eat it just like you would eat it if you cooked it in pot. You can make a pot pie, chicken salad, whatever you want!
I have the chicken marinating. I took a tiny bit of the marinade and microwaved it until boiling so that I could taste it. It tastes fantastic!! So much so that we decided that we'll grill it later rather than canning it. Thank you for the fantastic recipe!
you and Mr Hs personality and positive disposition make my day sorry for bad typing punctuation but eh i love you guys thank you for helpin people get informed im canning wright along wit ya . keep up the positive spirit as it is contagious i love you guys literaly .
I love watching your videos!😊 You have such an amazing truly blessed people spirit.❤ Everything that I've watched you can has been so knowledgeable. God Bless you. Mr. H, and your entire Family!🙏🏼
I had some jars come unsealed and I wondered why. After watching you find a bad jar, I checked those jars and all 3 has a ridge like yours. I learn something new all the time. I am going to make balsamic chicken 🐔 and getting chicken ready to marinade over night. Truly enjoy you and all the things you share with us. Peace and blessings 🙏
Thank you for doing such an in-depth video. I am new to canning and a lot of videos talk to you like you’ve been doing it for years! You’ve got such a cute personality.
thanks for the tip with the jars. I have a jar that is like that. I used it twice and both times I had a lid failure. I will mark that jar for dry storage. I now know to check the neck of the jar as well as the rims. It was one of the newer Ball jars that was made in China. It was brand new. I just purchased and opened the case last week. I actually had 2 of the newer jars like that.
I'm loving it Mrs.H , I did the teriyaki salmon, also ,french onion soup, shredded pork bbq. I will love this chicken. Thank you so much, pantry is getting ready.
I just finished making this. My 5 quarts of chicken breasts are in the canner as I type this. It smells so good! I’ll be turning on my stove in about half hour as I want that chicken to warm up a bit. I’m very excited. My favorite salad dressing is Balsamic Vinegar anyways, so I know I’ll love these. Thank you!!
Mine is in the canner now. I also LOVE balsamic vinegar. There is several chicken recipes Mrs heart made that I couldn't because the seasoning blends she used couldn't be found in my stores. I have since found the recipes to make these myself. I had all the seasonings to make the 3 spice mixes I needed. After picking up my mother's canning supplies(she can no longer use them because of disabilities) I will pick up chicken legs on sale to make Mrs heart Jamaican jerk chicken. Both of these sound like a party to your taste buds.
Thank you so much for being online, neighbor (I am in Alabama) When I am feeling overwhelmed or down I know I can count on you to make me smile. I love your personality and your content. There have . been days I have sat down so discouraged at all I have to do. I turn you on, and before long I am smiling and ready to go on again, You have such a sweet, down to earth spirit that I can totally relate to. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
Thank you for your videos! I’ve had a pressure canner for years & was so afraid of it that I never used it. But after watching your videos, I’ve canned your butter twice, canned corn & peas. Thank you!
Looks and sounds absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try it. How do you serve yours? I'm thinking over a bed of rice with the juices thickened to make a gravy like consistency.
LIGHTING: as I'm watching this video for the umpteenth time, as I do with all your videos before I can them and while I'm canning, and I see you talking about your camera lighting messing up/adjusting focus. I think it's because the two windows above your sink have the blinds open & sunshine shining brightly through it. Your camera is focusing and adjusting based off the differences of the light when you move backwards and forwards. Just a thought; I could be wrong! You can keep your blinds open but just tilt them so the part facing you is tilting up at a 45° angle towards the ceiling. So excited to can this tomorrow! I'm watching this tonight so I can put it in the fridge to marinate. Hopefully I get it done. I've got to find your lemon pepper chicken now since everybody's talking about it!! I really just started pressure canning this year, August 2022, because of your teaching and encouragement! I have canned over 120+++ jars based off the label count. That's not counting all the tomatoes stuff & tons of green beans that we did from our garden that I did not use printed labels on. I did your recipes for: chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic basil tomatoes, what I call your Smoky Pasta Sauce, your grape jelly, pineapple jelly (which didn't set so I call it pineapple sauce for ice cream or cake YUM!--used frozen Dole pineapple), your red potatoes (I call Italian herb potatoes), peeled gold potatoes for mashed potatoes, Cajun HEARTY♥️ Red Beans YUM, which also led to black beans, pinto beans, & great white northern beans. I have also made homemade green bean beef stew, carrots, vegetable stew in beef bone broth, chili, three bean mix, ketchup, tomato paste, chicken 3 way, chicken bone broth, ghee (I took out the milk solids but that skimmed foam was devine!). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MY SISTER FROM YOUR PUERTO RICAN SISTA IN TN! God bless beautiful you, your DH Mr. Heart, your whole family and Jackson too!!! Love to hear you laugh and CUT THEM EYES!
Just finished watching, this is an amazing turorial thank you. Here canned chicken at Costco those little cans of the Kirkland brand that everyone buys, here in Canada where I live it's now up to 22.99 for a 6 pack! Which for that 22.99 could I think make double the volume if not more and would be a lot more tasty. Thanks again for this motivation. You're awesome!
You rock! Even though I'm a pretty good cook I've always been afraid of pressure canners. Ordered my first one yesterday because of YOU! You make it look so easy! Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏
I bet that would be so delicious grilled! I just got my pressure canner and I can't wait to do this and many other things this summer. Thank you for the recipes and instructions ❤❤❤
Thank you again for emailing me my elivation question as soon as possible. You are truly a blessing!!!! I'm making this as soon. As I harvest all these meat birds!
OMG!! I made this and had to open a jar for dinner, it was sooo good!!! Like my hubby would say "it's so good it'll make your tongue beat your brains out" LOL! Thanks for this wonderful video, I just LOVE your channel!!
I canned this up. It has my whole house smelling GOOD! Everyone came out their rooms wanting to know what we eatin. Now they been watching since yesterday when I pulled the fresh Rosemary. I should have made more. We gone pop this lid you understand but ain’t nobody to touch the rest of them jars. 😁Thank you again Mrs. Heart for another one!!
I love ❤️ Your Channel and You make me miss my mom she canned all the time raised our chickens 🐓 and canned our pears, plums and raised our 🥬 watermelon cabbage all in Mississippi everything was raised organic
The twist down tops are to hold the seals in place for them to seal thus no cranking down is needed. Then the pleasurable TINGS occur, music to this old girl’s ears! You know, the TING dance? 😂❣
Oh man, that chicken looks and sounds delicious! I will definitely be canning this chicken, but I'll have to wait until the temps drop below 100 degrees here, probably in the fall. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
It looks like I'll be going to Costco today to buy my boneless chicken thighs because that balsamic chicken recipe you made looks delicious! I bought my 1st canner two years ago because of you. ❤❤ Thank you for sharing with all of us!
Hi Ms. Homestead! Thank you for showing me how to can Bas/chicken. Canning meat has always been a hands😉 off for me to try. After watching your instructional video, I just might give this a try. Thanks dear Lady Homestead, and God bless!
If the lid gets stuck gently pop it up with a flathead screw driver. That's from the All American folks so don't worry about damaging the canner. It takes very little pressure to get open. When I used petroleum jelly the lid would get stuck a lot but didn't have any issues when I switched to oil.
I'll be using that recipe for sure next time we can chicken. We have friends that have lot's of chickens and they don't garden so we trade. The finished product looks so rich. Thanks Ms. H God Bless, Mike
You answer alot of my questions. Used to can with my mom. But haven't done it in a long time so I'm a novice. Bought one of your canning squad t shirts. Thank you again!

You are such an inspiration! My husband farms but I have always been scared of canning. I started with the red potatoes last week and realized it isn’t hard at all. I am planning on trying some meat soon after watching your videos.
Thank you for this recipe! I will be making this tomorrow afternoon. You are a life saver. I had only water bathed canned before I stumbled across your channel. I ordered my pressure canner and now my husband jokes that I will stuff anything and everything in a jar! Lol
Venting my first time usage Presto 16 quart wiggler canner now-great WALMART discount on it. So excited looking forward to lifting those 6 little beef stew pint jars out in a while. I do not eat chicken -turkey yes but will be canning chicken with sweet potatoes for my little terrier to supplement her expensive Royal Canin dry food. Thank you so much for your lessons.
Hi, Thank you for this recipe it looks so good. I thought I was done canning for now but after seeing this I'm buying another case of quarts and canning. BTW I also loved your video of planting squash and watermelon in tires. I'm also doing that. I've got my son finding a couple old tires for me. God Bless from Tennessee.
Thank you Mrs H. Because of you I started canning and I love it! Canning everything. Tomorrow I'm canning balsamic chicken. Looks delicious. God bless you and Mr H💕
I love this. I did your bbq chicken but I was still pretty new and I didn’t get good results. Luckily it as a small batch and a huge learning lesson while chicken was still cheap.

You’re a great instructor. Thank you. Pressure canning is intimidating to many of us but watching you makes it simple and thorough.

If the lid gets stuck gently pop it up with a flathead screw driver. That's from the All American folks so don't worry about damaging the canner. It takes very little pressure to get open. When I used petroleum jelly the lid would get stuck a lot but didn't have any issues when I switched to oil.
Thank you so much Professor!! I've made this and just broiled the chicken and IT IS DELICIOUS!
Mrs. Heart you are such a good teacher. Thanks for the valuable lesson. Great tutorial.

I am ready for some canning. I got my jars from Walmart. Received my waterbath canner from Amazon today. Thanks for all you do.
A joy to watch this sweet lady! She tickles me. Have my canner out...now to thaw some chicken and get started!
Love your canning videos! I have expanded my skills.
Thank you Mrs H. Because of you I started canning and I love it! Canning everything. Tomorrow I'm canning balsamic chicken. Looks delicious. God bless you and Mr H💕
Can't wait to try this!!!!! Always enjoy your videos and your humor. You make me smile! 🙂
Sounds delicious balsamic 🐔
I love this. I did your bbq chicken but I was still pretty new and I didn’t get good results. Luckily it as a small batch and a huge learning lesson while chicken was still cheap.
