Good morning Mrs H. I got my 930 back in August. The first thing I canned after watching you video was pinto beans salted 3 ways. The next was chicken drumsticks and thighs. I haven’t opened them yet, I was nervous about the chicken not completely covered in the juices from the chicken. After seeing your video today I am more confident that it’s OK if the juices render from the chicken does not completely submerge the meat under the liquid. I haven’t canned for a while because my kitchen was being remodeled today is the first day that I can start canning again and seeing you first thing this morning canning chicken three ways I said it’s time to start back I’m so excited. When I do a double stack in the canner I find that a few of the jars on the bottom won't seal up. I started flipping the rack upside down and now have no problems. I think the divets (like little leg-like things to keep the rack off the bottom of the canner) were pushing on the jar lids beneath it. Just saying, in case anyone else had the same problem.

I drain my chicken reserving broth for gravy, add cream of chicken soup & spices to the chicken, put it in a pan, top it with cheap boxed stuffing mix that I doctor up with onions/celery & bake it. I serve it with homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, & biscuits. Thanksgiving in less than 30 min.😋

@@corrinnacorrinna5572 that's a great idea for my boxed stuffing I fry up achopped onion, celery, a shredded carrot and a handful of dried cranberries that have been steeped in very hot water for 15 minutes then coarse chopped. Added to the boxed stuffing mix puts it over the top.

As a newbie who has watched your videos, when you said grease it, I understood what you meant because I watched your video on putting Vaseline on the pressure cooker. But if I had never seen those videos and heard you say grease it I might as a newbie, have used lard or oil or one of those products to grease it. I just wanted to give you a newbies perspective. Love your videos!

    I’m
Doing this today as I pray to the canning gods for success! Lemon pepper and jerk chicken. I brought back seasoning when I tripped to Jamaica 🇯🇲 that all I ate when I was there and fell in love with it. I absolutely love jerk fish

We also use the pint and a half jars for drinking glasses. They last a long time without breaking.
