Thank you! I’ve never been able to work out what Mal’s playing under Angus’s intro chords. The X-0-4-2-X-X is spot on. Great stuff! By the way, my ear tells me he follows that with a partial E major: 0-2-2-1-X-X, then to a D power chord, but either way, your 0-4-2 is unquestionably correct. Thanks!

@@malpractice5904 Yeah, a lot of people get that wrong, it's important that both Malcolm and Angus were pretty creative about efficiency of movement, especially if you want to set your hands up for the next chord. Excellent lesson!

I didn't know these little transition licks properly either, i was close but not right. I can tell you had a lot of practice with this one. Good job ! It's a fun one to play loud. ( and yes, hit them strings)

Thank you. I have to admit that I don't think I'm playing the main riff on this one correctly. I did a cover of this one too where I think it's more accurate.

2:31 YESSS finally someone's playing that part, everyone plays C and D power chords there (Angus' part)
When I started learning by ear I played the pre chorus like this A chord, A string open D string 5 fret, A string open D string 4 fret. You know like the rock and roll thing with the open A ringing. I hope I explained myself well. Yours sounds more full and complete 😁

Thank you so much! I did a cover on this. It’s on the channel. Check that one out. I definitely played the main riff incorrectly on this video. I think I’m playing it right on the cover. I also changed a few things on the pre-chorus. I didn’t have the isolated track on this when I first did it and it was hard to pick out the parts. Anyway. Thank you again!

I noticed a very deliberate element in Malcolm's style that you are teaching us. Mainly he does not go for the alternate picking unless he really has to in order to keep the right rythm going. BTW GREAT VIDEOS BRO! Just curious what pick gauge do you prefer for playing ACDC? Angus is famous for using fender extra heavy with a grip on it but i don't know about Mal. Peace and ROCK ON!!!

Hey Dan. Thanks a lot man! I use a fender heavy or a dunlop ultex sharp .90. I think I like the fender better. It’s also got the grip texture on them
