Nice! Nobody ever plays Overdose, such a great song, great album. Mal’s intro is my “Is my guitar in tune” check whenever I pick one up, and just so much fun to play. I just picked up a Guitar Center Exclusive Seafoam Green Double Jet, I just love it. Such a perfect foil to the Gibson sound.

@@fredguitarmaniac Sorry, never got notification you replied to my comment. You and me both on Bon and Mal. I’m too you g to have seen Bon, but I saw Mal a bunch of times, tho ironically the first time I saw them Mal was in rehab and Stevie was touring in his place.

You should definitely do some songs that Malcolm actually solo’d on too. Like “Can I Sit Next to You Girl.” Definitely got the tone right on this one.

Why'd you play Malcolm's rhythm part differently at the beginning
I don't play things note for note, it is an interpretation, a Noodle if you like.
What amps or software were you using?

What amp\combo is this played through?
The guitars are going straight into my axe fx2 (simulating 2xMarshall Super Lead 100 with 2x4 Marshall box) then into the daw, could not be simpler.
@@fredguitarmaniac Wow great sound. Wouldn't expect that from Fx2, I have that exact same guitar, I run it through an orange AMP into a Vintage Marshal Cab, and the pickups sound a bit muddy to me. Probably going to invest into a TV jones pickup for the bridge .
