I have a theory on Ren. Bear with me here. I believe in the Talent Fairy. She comes shortly after birth of some artists, pinches some Talent Dust out of her Talent Bucket, and sprinkles talent over the baby. Mozart, Van Gogh, Hendrix, you name it, they all were sprinkled over by the Talent Fairy. But on that fateful day of March 1990, the Talent Fairy had enough. It's a tough and lonely job, you know, nobody ever thanking her... So she hovered over Ren's crib flapping her little wings, said "F*ck it!", and *dumped the whole bucket of Talent Dust on him* . And then she quit the job. This not only explains the insane talent of Ren, but also the lack of any other creative artist around nowadays. That's my theory, and I stand by it. All Hail the Talent Fairy. 🧚♀ Some say she's enjoying life on an Island in the Pacific, a cocktail in her hand, watching Money Game 3.
I think that a lot of people forget that Ren is still unwell and undergoing intensive treatment and that this must have been an immense effort for him!
This is an artistic masterpiece! Ren said in his live stream that there is only one cut in this entire video and that was because of the part with the water. Sam’s cinematography is stunning and REN’s performance and musicality are phenomenal! Ren wrote everything including the piano and strings. So much heart and talent in our boi ❤. I cried when Kyle said "Ren is so damn important". It is a compliment I am sure he would love. Being important is everything. He also is so much needed in music in music industry, idek if he knows about his essential contribution in opening people's eyes and minds. He is important, you're right.
Ren wrote all of the music for this including the orchestral parts. He said he practiced quite a bit to get the piano intro right. He also said that this isn't precisely a one take, it has a single cut in it, but it had to due to some logistics and time constraints. He explained it all in his Twitch live stream after the video dropped. He's really proud of this one, and should be. It's another great example of Ren's pure musical ARTISTRY.

Ren's The Money Game ARG treasure hunt was over 14 days of riddle solving, collaboration as a group to follow series of hints, cyphers, coding, decoding, finding the puppet accounts Involved, a video choose your own adventure, binary, morse, direct misdirection from Ren & Jake all within a sea of red herrings. An IRL finale with the winners streaming the final treasure buried in the woods... Research documents (group created) around each of the seven deadly sins, quizzes and more. Involved people from all walks of life and our coding crew were essential for some parts. Insane two weeks, and the best time and community on Discord.

I didn’t think I had any more superlatives for REN’s art but then I saw MG3. It’s beyond beyond. In a world where we get up every day to more monstrous atrocities we have this little pinhole that allows us to see what could be. So I guess I go back to Hi Ren lyrics when he said “some people” know me as hope.” So that’s the adjective I’m going to use. REN’s music and artistry give me hope. We all deserve that…
I hope that I can articulate this correctly. One of my absolute favourite things to see with regards to Ren's music is when reactors are able to see the importance of his message so vividly that they are willing to happily and humbly forego the basic premise(s) of their channels and allow the viewer to simmer in what they just saw. Another such example is a voice instructor who was reacting to one of his songs (can't remember which one at the moment). She simply indicated that the message was too important to analyse vocal technique, and allowed it to stand on its own merit. There are times when you can elevate your reaction to the extreme by simply throwing any preconceived agenda out the door, IMNSHO.
Ren got number 1 in the UK album charts last night. For an independent artist, it's an incredible achievement. Add in all the health issues and obstacles he faces, and it's just beyond amazing. There is a video of him finding out which made me cry with joy 😊 . I'll find the link and send it in a reply. I'm so proud of him and the global community(RENagades) he's managed to cultivate. He's insanely talented and deserves everything he is getting g at the moment. I was completely shocked to silence after the premiere of this masterpiece. All I could think of was that if Netflix doesn’t give Ren and Sam their own show, then they’re 100% stupid. This is some of the best storytelling ever. BTW I would really love to see you react to Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally diagnosed correctly and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and utterly stunning. Thank you guys for reacting to this one and for continuing to support Ren and other artists that have an important message like FIR, Tom MacDonald, Adam Calhoun, and NF. I know there are more but those are the ones I'm most familiar with. Ren is that voice that doesn't come around very often and the only people I can think of that have come close to having the charisma, talent and genuine belief in their message are 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon and we lost both of them way too early. We very well could've lost Ren a few years ago but he refused to give up or give in and he was persistent about finding a way to treat what was making him sick even if it was too late for himself. I believe he went thru all that he has to make him tough enough to stand for his message against anyone or anything and as long as he stays true to himself and his craft then I will do anything I can to support him. It was a one shot take, him and the crew busted their ass to make it a one take. ONLY one cut and that was obviously the rain seen because the suit was expensive and could only be wet once if it was ever going to fit properly again

From the start it was setup as a 1 shot. Ren is the one in the intro playing the Piano. The guy that takes his place is actually Knox Hill if I am not mistaken. From what I saw from the behind the scenes the scene at the Mirror with Bag being pulled off was not Cut. It was just amazingly filmed!

When I saw this mindblowing video I was genuinely excited to see you two react to it. This did not disappoint! If the sign of great art is that it makes the viewer think, feel, reflect... then Ren is one of the greatest artists of our age because he not only does that but he gets people talking...about stiff we have been conditioned not to talk about. Always love your guys reactions. One thing I wanted to point out, is when you commented that some people are more legit like Bezos (or Gates/Jobs/etc). I have come to realize there is no such thing as a 'good' billionaire. You just can't acquire that much wealth without taking massive advantage of people or destroying lives. As a techie, I used to look up to people like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. But your start to realize the ideas they stole from others, the people who's hard work they took the credit for, the sweatshops that created many of the products. There really is no way to win the money game without hurting others.

The treasure hunt was the end of a scavenger hunt event that he did with his community based on the 7 deadly sins. the last one was greed and we had to work together to find a random location in the world where he buried a bunch of money. The people that found it first were told to go there and sent a link to stream themselves finding it. I highly recommend watching it. don't have to make a video about it, but it was really cool to watch.
Jimmy = James, aka Screech. I think that he did that to show that your upbringing in general and your parents specifically massively decide how your life plays out.

This is one of his most amazing videos he's ever created, with such an important message behind it. And there was only ONE cut in the entire filming process, which is when they pan behind him sitting in the wheelchair. The only reason they even did this was to move his mic from his shirt to the inside of his tie so it wouldn't get damaged when the rain machine started. Ren is that voice that doesn't come around very often and the only people I can think of that have come close to having the charisma, talent and genuine belief in their message are 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon and we lost both of them way too early. We very well could've lost Ren a few years ago but he refused to give up or give in and he was persistent about finding a way to treat what was making him sick even if it was too late for himself. I believe he went thru all that he has to make him tough enough to stand for his message against anyone or anything and as long as he stays true to himself and his craft then I will do anything I can to support him.

It was a one shot take, him and the crew busted their ass to make it a one take. ONLY one cut and that was obviously the rain seen because the suit was expensive and could only be wet once if it was ever going to fit properly again

From the start it was setup as a 1 shot. Ren is the one in the intro playing the Piano. The guy that takes his place is actually Knox Hill if I am not mistaken. From what I saw from the behind the scenes the scene at the Mirror with Bag being pulled off was not Cut. It was just amazingly filmed!

If the sign of great art is that it makes the viewer think, feel, reflect... then Ren is one of the greatest artists of our age because he not only does that but he gets people talking...about stiff we have been conditioned not to talk about. He uncovers the dirty laundry of our society and says we are all responsible so do we clean this up or add to the pile.

Always love your guys reactions. One thing I wanted to point out, is when you commented that some people are more legit like Bezos (or Gates/Jobs/etc). I have come to realize there is no such thing as a 'good' billionaire. You just can't acquire that much wealth without taking massive advantage of people or destroying lives. As a techie, I used to look up to people like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. But your start to realize the ideas they stole from others, the people who's hard work they took the credit for, the sweatshops that created many of the products. There really is no way to win the money game without hurting others.

Knox said he got to go to a rehearsal, and he's the dude counting the money in the cocaine scene in the finished video. How cool is that. Loving EVERYTHING Ren. Started watching him 2months ago. Since, I watch him almost everyday, for hours at a time. Have turned on my children, thier children, and my friends, to this one of a kind human treasure. I imagine REN as a traveling troubadour, a court storyteller…. The classical bent gives me that feel… but that mixed with the characterization the camera gives…. As well as his AMAZING performance…. The treasure hunt was the end of a scavenger hunt event that he did with his community based on the 7 deadly sins. the last one was greed and we had to work together to find a random location in the world where he buried a bunch of money. The people that found it first were told to go there and sent a link to stream themselves finding it. I highly recommend watching it. don't have to make a video about it, but it was really cool to watch.

Something I noticed is that jimmy is wearing a bag over his head and he says that he’s an exaggeration version of all of us so he doesn’t have a face and I think it’s just something people don’t necessarily notice and his songs nearly always connect to each other

This is one of his most amazing videos he's ever created, with such an important message behind it. And there was only ONE cut in the entire filming process, which is when they pan behind him sitting in the wheelchair. The only reason they even did this was to move his mic from his shirt to the inside of his tie so it wouldn't get damaged when the rain machine started. They shot this multiple times, but the final piece is totally live with only one cut. Incredible 💚
