Keep in mind that Jenny & Screech are only 14 when this story started. Then Violet had them in 2005 and 14 years later the twins are repeating who their parents are and they weren't even raised by their parents. Screech is violent like his father and Jenny is quiet and timid like Violet. Such a great story teller. I loved this reaction guys!
And Violet's mother stayed quiet while her father abused their daughter (possibly because she had already been victimized by the father). So there are at least three generations repeating the cycle.
What I also really like, is Ren does SO many tie ins everywhere, but he straight up foreshadows this in the lyrics by stating, "History repeats itself" during Violates tale, prior to the big reveal at the end.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one to notice. I'm currently working through their Ren playlist and it's different in everyone. I can't not notice them because they are so big and normally look like a vase 😂
Ren wrote the Tale of Jenny and Screech together, but released them as separate videos. Jenny’s Tale was released first and he built up hype for Screech’s Tale by pretending his phone was stolen by a masked figure (Screech) during an Instagram video, and then he began releasing Instagram stories in the character of Screech - behaving in an antisocial way with a personality that was quick to turn violent. As he committed to the character he lost a lot of Instagram followers who didn’t understand it was an act, and Instagram repeatedly threatened to shut down his account. Following the success, he wrote and released Violet’s Tale. You can tell Jenny was originally a bit older, but making them twins was a dramatic and sensational way of reflecting the cyclical nature of abuse, with Jenny freezing like her mother would and Screech quick to be violent like his father. Not a true story, but more a representation of what happens in society with a cycle of abusive relationships. Fucking phenomenal. Great reaction, you picked up on so much stuff and had a clear appreciation for his musicianship! 🔥
Yeah I cloked that when someone said Jenny was born in 2005 so she would be 18 this year and in the workforce but hermurder by her own brother happened when she was 14 in 2018
Ren call this style Bardcore and here's the origin story of the trilogy 🤩😁🤯 This wasn't originally a trilogy story. Ren read in the paper one day with a small article about a 14 yr old boy killing a young prostitute in an attempted robbery and then being shot and killed by the police later that evening. It disturbed him, it was during a time in London when knife crimes were soring. So he set out to write a commentary on not just senseless violence, but on how desensitized we are in today's society. This wasn't big news, it wasn't even front page, being buried somewhere 0n pg.6 or 7. The main example of this is in the words he ends both Jenny and Screech's Tales with "It's such a Shame". We say these words all to often and just move on without a second thought. The article quoted the lead inspector at the scene saying " So Young, Its such a shame" . Violets Tale was written over 2 years later adding another layer of commentary by Ren. Not only generational violence but making us think of how both these lives be so cursed. Born out of violence on the same day and then both killed with brutal violence on the same night. Also, his lyrics have multiple meanings if read in between the lines you'll more then likely hear something that'll make you think. Here's an example of things that made me go Hmm...🤔🤔 Example: Jenny has the same traits as her mother Violet, quiet, voiceless, and timid. Where as Screech mirrors his father Stevie in every way, Loud, obnoxious, and easily prone & provoked to violence. They didn't know one another and had never met their biological parents. Yet, what made these kids so much like their parents? Was it simply Nature, inherited traits in their genetic make-up or Nurture, being brought up in the broken system of broken children? Love your channel, Cheers 🥂
One of the best details in the song is the descriptions of Screech and Jenny's faces. Screech Says he will "cut the rosey off your cheek". Then later Screech turns to "face the blue light". Rosey(red) and blue =Violet
Legend goes: The first two parts were inspired by an article Ren had read about a 14 year old kid who had stabbed and killed a prostitute. Which was buried on page 6. Wasn't even headline news. Which was a tragedy. Violet's tale came out a couple years later, and I believe that was just his way of pulling the story together and adding a message about the cycle of violence.
Pretty common theory on reddit so no, you are far from the only one that has thought this but it's purely just a theory because other than the fact that Patrick isn't at home and the girlfriend was busy it could be because Patrick was at the supermarket buying some smokes and the girlfriend was just going to have a shower. Nothing in the song suggests Patrick and his girlfriend were together. This is what happend when you just cut and paste something you read on another review
@@keithday3658 I haven't verified this, but what I had seen specifically was either TikTok or Instagram posts promoting the song from Ren that said that detail.
I've been legit BINGING reactions to this for 3 days now, absolute hours of this and after rewatching yours here I've finally realized something about Violets tale. He hits the hall for the reverb when he starts talking about Violet, so she gets the reverb. He hits the stairwell when he talks a little about Stevie and he gets no reverb, then again a line about Violet with the most beautiful reverb "She never stood a chance". His voice was emphasized when talking about her because she was quiet. Because she never had a voice of her own the narrator so to speak lent her his. Once again, fucking chills.
I always interpret the point where he says "the devil comes to dance" where he's looking up the stairwell (as violet) and hoping to see light (heaven/gods) but sees darkness like she's in a pit with no hope of salvation / relief or escape from above. I ain't religious but that's how i read it but Ren is astounding in his ability to tell a story. His eye contact is used in very powerful moments to really reflect mood.
i read a comment from another reaction video someone said that violets stepdad might have been the twins dad because she moved out to a flat on welfare scheme meaning she was already pregnant
Check the singing at the start of violets tale again. He’s depicting a crying newborn. That’s why he’s looking around in that way, and why there is this light howling undertone to the singing. Once you notice it, u can’t unsee/hear.
Think Kyle is the first reactor I’ve seen realise that not only does he rewind time with the guitar but also brings it back to present day with the opposite end of the scale with the guitar
My favorite aspect of Violet's tale is that it takes place in 2005, 14 years before Jenny's tale came out in 2019 in which Jenny and Screech are 14 years old
Awesome! That guitar tapping is an art in itself. I think Sam Westfalen covering tool was my first exposure to it and whenever i see it, it goes on repeat
Odd thing, it's actually champing at the bit. These colloquialisms are weird. Racing horses, when nervous chew their bit and that's called champing for some reason and that's where it came from. Everyone knows what you meant, so it's all good, but I thought you might want to know out of curiosity.
So, I can’t remember the exact incident, but apparently Ren saw a story on the news about a young boy that stabbed a woman and was trying to wrap his head around what could lead a kid to do something so horrible. That’s where Jenny’s tale originally came from. He wrote Screech’s Tale and Violet’s Tale years later, and those were his own original additions to the story. (Not 100% on this as I’m just remembering a comment on another video explaining it). Seriously though, loved the reaction! Really glad you took time to do such a long video. The Tale of Jenny and Screech is an absolute masterpiece of performance art. Tragic and depressing, but it just draws you in completely. Thanks for such a wonderful and detailed reaction!
Ive read elsewhere that the victim was a 14 year old prostitute. Not sure if thats true, but it fits with Ren's narrative (14 yo, high heel shoes, walked the street a 1000 times before)
I’ve watched a lot of reaction videos- but yours are by far the best. You guys react like children on Christmas morning- saying the best things about every song you react to. Love it! 🥰
Daaaaamn I've been waiting for this one! I don't know why, but I always get Tarantino vibes from this. What a pure talent, both musically and filming it all!
It follows a similar story structure to Kill Bill or Reservoir dogs. Plus, it's split into chapters that are introduced by a subtitle and a piece of music
This is why I refer to Ren as a Troubadour or a Virtuoso. He is NOT just a singer. He is an *artist*. That man is acting as much as he's singing and playing in all his songs. LOVED the reaction, boys! 🎶🔥💖😎🙏🏼🤗
For violets tale they took 20 takes and ended up with 6 or 7 full live takes to choose from. This one they chose was take #2. Ren did all the sound mixing on these videos as well. He said the sound mixing took a long time to get right on violets tail since each room and hallway had different acoustics.
modern artists don't do enough classical guitar its so beautiful, i would say Ren is a performance artist he doesn't just play music he pulls you into his world.
I watched this yesterday but by itself, I loved it and i saw you guys off of tiktok. I was reading your guys' names when I noticed how Kyle was wearing a 'The Breakfast Club' shirt. I am as well is wearing one and it made me haply, but I adore Ren and so glad I found to guys!
Great reaction to this masterpiece fellas. They all came out separately Jenny's Tale in Feb 2019, Screeches Tale in Sept 2019 and Violets Tale in July 2022. The fact that the first 2 tales were released in 2019 ties in with Violets story set in 2005 when she gave birth to Jenny and Screech as they were both 14yrs old in 2019 Ren has another tale written already. It is totally separate to these tales but follows along the same lines of Shakespearian story telling. It is also about a male character.
14:38 Kyle teaching me about how amazing REN’s playing is….Eric “The ladies must love him” almost wet myself 😂😂 I love you guys so much. Your a constant serotonin boost that’s muchly needed ❤❤❤❤
One of the other interesting things to know is that this was filmed in Orange Row, relatively close to where he typically busked in Ship St. Love the way he shows off his stomping grounds in his videos.
You should watch my favourite Ren.... Crutch (with Bibi). He wrote it 6 years ago before he had the Lyme's diagnosis and was being told his illness was all psychological. He'd been in and out of hospital, had a breakdown and was seriously questioning how anyone (like his girlfriend Bibi) would stay with him because of his medical/psychological issues. It's hauntingly beautiful. Ren (on piano) can really get you in the feels.
I am sooo glad you decided to react to this. Ren is such a phenomenal storyteller. He completely captivates you and takes you on a ride. I agree, when listening, it doesn’t seem like a 12 min song. It flows so smoothly from one chapter to the next. Outstanding; and I’ve seen this a bunch of times…. It never gets old. Always just as good as the first time I heard it. Super enjoyed your reaction. Take care ✌🏻🙏🏻😊
So a weird confession I found out about you guys and Ren at the same time from your Hi Ren reaction and oddly now will only first time view his songs through your reaction videos,I've been patiently waiting for you guys to do this one and damn it was worth it!
From what I heard, Jenny's Tale was Inspired by a newspaper article Ren read about a young girl being murdered and the newspapers said it was, "Such a shame". He thought that story deserved so much more than that sentence that's why you hear that phrase a lot in the songs.
As I've heard it told, Ren saw a news story about a young man that slashed and killed a young prostitute. The reporter ended the reportage with the phrase, "It's such a shame". Ren then built the rest of the story to take it from "it's such a shame" to "OH MY LORD!" I'm not sure about the first two, how close they were, but Violets tale was released a few years after Screech's tale. Ren also has some IG shorts compiled on his Chanel that he did as promotion for one of the releases (not sure which one but I'll go with Screech's Tale). In them, he "has his phone stolen" and "Screech" proceeds to record multiple shorts of his street life. In those you meet the gang, including his girl he called and Patrick. Interestingly Patrick and Screech's girl seem abnormal close throughout and it culminates with Screech and another hoodlum trying to rob a house while Patrick can not be reached and Screech's girl is mysteriously absent. The robbery goes south and Screech escapes with a large kitchen knife in the finale. Thus, there is much speculation the Patrick was not home because he was with Screech's girl who did not want Screech to come over in Screech's tale. Ren did it so well he lost followers and IG nearly banned his account.
If you haven't seen the interview Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) did with Ren I would recommend it. One of the things he mentioned was how he learned to play the guitar by watching RUclipsrs and mimicking them. Justin mentioned how his style is so diverse and seems to go from Flamenco to Classical and apparently that's why, he just hears something he likes and learns to play it.
The best is knowing what is coming and as they are like “what is going on?” We all know what the end is. Also Kyle’s reaction to the guitar is fantastic. That was fun. Thanks for doing it. Now do Animal King!
I have liked it where a reactor has got it completely wrong, like "Tale of Jenny and Screech, maybe it is like Romeo and Juliett" NOPE or "Gosh....that was heavy maybe Violet tale is lighter....." NOPE
You guys definitely need to react to “i shot the sheriff/ road to Zion/ hip hop” by the Big Push. It’s REN’s old band. He shows off his vocals and his guitar skills. It’s amazing!
Oh I've been waiting for this, awesome reaction. I haven't seen anyone else pick up that the graffiti on the wall behind Ren when Screech gets shot is a firing range dummy too! Talk about detail!
Great reaction! Kyle, it was interesting to hear you talk about the tapping. I have watched many reactions to this and few people mention it. In one of his Twitch streams, Ren talked about this song. He mentioned that there was a period of a few weeks where he was just tapping that out repeatedly, as he watched movies and such, in order to strengthen his fingers to the point that he could play that smoothly on the acoustic. Samuel Perry-Falvey did a magnificent job, with the video for this. Ren really should have his own Netflix show. This is a modern version of a Shakespearean tragedy.
I discovered Ren about a week ago and he is now my favourite of all the time (as of tdy); i mean... he is so good in so many different aspects. I would not listen to him like i do with pretty much all other songs on a daily basis, I'll need to sit and watch him perform on a screen to get the full experience. He's so unique in: - his singing and melody voices --> so particular and delicate, love them - his talking / rap skills --> velar words and so many different tempos - his singing overall --> he's able to sign multiple styles so well in my opinion - not to mention his lyrics --> i mean ... they speak for themeselves - he himself is such a good actor/performer in his videos - the cinematography --> as well, it's so on point and so well thought, but simple/minimal at the same time. I agree with practically all of their comments regardin him and his overall skills (from other videos also), as well as sharing their entusiasm and their amazement as the story (because that's what his songs are) unfolds. I'm just amused (side note: sry if my english isn't that good/clear)
Finally! A great reaction. The difference between the reactions of you two, Kyle super expressive, his face like an open book and Eric contained, expressing emotions mostly trough his voice, and only when something really hits him hard, is so fun to watch! And you caught everything, including the fast forward with the guitar, which many people miss. 🔥🔥 reraction.
Of all rens songs this is by far my favourite to watch reactions to, I love seeing if people catch everything and how they react... you guys got everything and your reactions were enjoyable to see. It mirrored my own
i commented about violets tale half way through the video because i love your guys reactions and i love ren. i didn’t even expect you to react to all 3 in one video !!!!
Yay! Well worth it :) An added bonus, once you've watched these tales, you'll pick up so much more as you rewatch the story unfold. The layers and details start popping out in vivid colors, just like with the meticulousness Ren uses in his art. ❤❤
Holy crap...I have heard this at least 10 times in the past month and never heard (or it didnt register) the "14 years old" line...this changes the entire story. 😮
First time watching you guys and was not disappointed! I don't know how many times I had to pause and jump back to rewatch because Kyle commented on a nuisance of the video, music style, etc, and knowing what was coming thought to myself "oh hon that's just the first one" and it cracked me up😂😂😂
Awesome reaction guys. Been looking forward to this one for ages! In terms of the truth to the story, if I remember correctly, there was an incident in England where a boy stabbed and killed a sex worker in the streets and as the story unfolds you found out both of them were unfortunately 14. Ren released both Jenny and Screechs tale right after and then invented Violets tale to tie everything together. Man's an absolute genius. There's so many lines than have so many different meanings. Multiple listens are definitely needed to fully grasp everything!
This is a true story. I’ve lived it. This is an accurate representation of a bad night for someone who faces DV. I want to point out something important- their reaction is atypical from the norm. We didn’t hear, “well why did she stay?” Perhaps it was the introduction of how abuse is normalized for a lifetime. I grew up only knowing and seeing violent men, screaming, degrading men. I thought that was just how men treated women. Don’t call me stupid. Those were my friend’s fathers too. So many children grow up and assume violence will naturally last a lifetime when that’s all you’ve ever gotten. Why don’t we leave? Because it’s a terrifying ending. We try. Many times. Violet moved out when she was 16. Problem is, you learn pretty damn quick that an unsuccessful escape is more painful than staying. As a DV survivor, I’ve known violet. And for those of us who’ve escaped- I’m proud of you leaving when you could.
This is so good for so many reasons. It’s an entire universe he builds and tells these great stories in, but I love that you highlighted the guitar playing. I’m a guitarist, the writing, the choice of instrument, how it was recorded and the musicianship are truly incredible here. 👏👏👏
What's also amazing about this story is you can find many threads to pull. Screech robbed and killed his sister, he didn't seem to know that which tells us they were either both raised in the system or at least separately. She felt uneasy that day, was she able to sense her twin? She walked that street a thousand times and was in high heels at 14yrs old. Did she make a living working the streets? Screech knocking on Patrick's door but he is not home. Screech calls girlfriend she says she is "busy" is that she is actually busy or is she with Patrick that's why he is so pissed not just because he lost a place to lay low? Again, so eerie they were born the same day side by side and died the same day side by side, and to each other they were strangers, just tied together by a history of violence. Edit: Also Jenny and Violent were very quiet people who had almost a fear paralysis instinct not a fight or flight.
This is a very emotional song, and Ren done an excellent job. It cuts deep! I’m happy you done this reaction. Your reactions were genuine! It brought me to tears. Great reaction Eric and Kyle! ❤
Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues
i love you guys and your pure reactions! both of your voices are so amazing and makes watching your reactions that much better! thanks for sharing with us! sending peace love & light to all!
Been waiting on this one from you guys, great reaction, Ren is going places, thanks for giving him the exposure he deserves, much love from UK brothas. Gotta do Animal Flow next by Ren, his newest track, and he said his next track he releases is gonna have more singing in it, which shows his musical diversity
Took the words out of mouth lads! Well worth the wait!! Thankyou for reacting to this one it's one of my favourites after hi-REN, Humble & oceans! So thanks again and keep reacting & I'll keep watching!! 👊👏👌👍
Artist and creators will now have to work so much harder than they did BR - the creative times we now live in will be called AR ( After Ren - BR = Before Ren ).
I’ve been waiting for this one! This was a great reaction guys. Really glad you finally made it to this one. The ultimate tale of generational trauma, really.
Been waiting for this one for sure! I absolutely love people seeing this for the first time. Ren is so talented and pulls you in like crazy with these tales. He has a new tale coming but it doesn't connect to these three. Ren did a whole Instagram stint as screech and you find out Patrick is with Screech's girl which is why they were both busy. Just a little bit of info to give even more depth. Great reaction guys! Thanks for doing this one!
I was just coming to mention this. The instagram doesn't have any music but in it, Ren made it look like his camera was stolen during a shoot. Then over the next week 'Screech' was posting short videos of his antics. It's an interesting look into more of the back story. There is a video of the all the IG stories here on youtube.
Great reaction. Glad you finally got to this. Eric. The bit where you get bigger and bigger beer glasses is getting out of hand. You're drinking out of a vase, man. Next is a home depot bucket, then a bathtub or some shit. hah.
Note, the men speak a lot, but Jenny never does, and Violet only speaks to ask the doctors to save her babies.
YES! I don't think enough people are catching that.
And Jenny was walking the streets at night in high heels & a painted face, looking for a way out, like she had 1000x's before 😢
And Violet's mother stayed quiet while her father abused their daughter (possibly because she had already been victimized by the father). So there are at least three generations repeating the cycle.
What I also really like, is Ren does SO many tie ins everywhere, but he straight up foreshadows this in the lyrics by stating, "History repeats itself" during Violates tale, prior to the big reveal at the end.
@KiyoshiKane that's what I was pointing out in my comment. That is very clever! 👏👏👏

He got the idea when he read an article in the paper. A 14 year old boy was arrested for killing a prostitute. He then wrote the story around that.

Jenny & Screech were released after each other, it's only Violet's Tale which was released much later
@@DenTweed Thanks for the clarification!
Ive read elsewhere that the victim was a 14 year old prostitute. Not sure if thats true, but it fits with Ren's narrative (14 yo, high heel shoes, walked the street a 1000 times before)
@@nubbypk pretty sure that wasn't the original story, but that is how the internet has run with it after figured out Ren painted Jenny that way
Yeah, Screech's tale stemmed from another story he'd read about a cop that had to kill a 14yo boy, and the remorse he felt afterward.
Kyle's face when Ren is playing the intro to Violet's Tale reminds me of Jack Black at the window of the kids music lesson in School of Rock 😂
Great reaction, guys. Thank you.
Subbed
Hi Jack 👋 Welcome to Rykerroad! 🤘👍🍷
This was just featured by Ren! ❤🎉
"I don't weigh more standing" 😂😂😂 so glad you are finally doing the tales. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Was just about to comment about that! I spit my coffee ☕️ GOOD ONE!!😂🖤💜!!🤘🏻💯
I see an email from the marketing department's lawyers saying please don't jump on chair.
Ren is so much more than just a musician. This is performance art.
Great reaction to this masterpiece fellas. They all came out separately Jenny's Tale in Feb 2019, Screeches Tale in Sept 2019 and Violets Tale in July 2022.
The fact that the first 2 tales were released in 2019 ties in with Violets story set in 2005 when she gave birth to Jenny and Screech as they were both 14yrs old in 2019
Ren has another tale written already.
“Resolve it??!!” 😂😂 also he’s tapping on a nylon acoustic. Which is what makes it so much more impressive
One of the other interesting things to know is that this was filmed in Orange Row, relatively close to where he typically busked in Ship St. Love the way he shows off his stomping grounds in his videos.
Well worth the wait for this reaction !!! Now time to patiently wait for "Losing It" God bless you guys !!
Ren should be a academy award winner with his acting
You should watch my favourite Ren.... Crutch (with Bibi). He wrote it 6 years ago before he had the Lyme's diagnosis and was being told his illness was all psychological. He'd been in and out of hospital, had a breakdown and was seriously questioning how anyone (like his girlfriend Bibi) would stay with him because of his medical/psychological issues. It's hauntingly beautiful. Ren (on piano) can really get you in the feels.
Ren said on a Twitch chat that this was a story he created and is working on more tales as we speak. He also said that he plans on moving into films
I had never heard the term Bardcore before Ren. But it’s a perfect description and I want more!
Ive watched all of your ren reacts, and many of them multiple times. I love watching yall. I appreciate your comments and your large water cups.
Wow
This is just incredible
I loved every part of this!
So clever that kid!!✌🏼
From what I heard, Jenny's Tale was Inspired by a newspaper article Ren read about a young girl being murdered and the newspapers said it was, "Such a shame". He thought that story deserved so much more than that sentence that's why you hear that phrase a lot in the songs.
Ren is a blueprint for future artists! 👍
Because of Ren, they will have to work much harder than usual to reach his level
Nicely put 👍
Love your reactions. Ren is a whole new sound that we all need in our lives. Thanks for reacting to his music. You guys ROCK!🤘🤘
As I've heard it told, Ren saw a news story about a young man that slashed and killed a young prostitute. The reporter ended the reportage with the phrase, "It's such a shame". Ren then built the rest of the story to take it from "it's such a shame" to "OH MY LORD!"
I'm not sure about the first two, how close they were, but Violets tale was released a few years after Screech's tale.
I have liked it where a reactor has got it completely wrong, like
"Tale of Jenny and Screech, maybe it is like Romeo and Juliett" NOPE
or "Gosh....that was heavy maybe Violet tale is lighter....." NOPE
This guy can really paint a story with his words and images epic.
He is one artist I wish I could go back and listen to for the first time again again and again
Ren said in a recent interview that his goal was to get a Netflix show and do just that!!
I discovered Ren about a week ago and he is now my favourite of all the time (as of tdy); i mean... he is so good in so many different aspects.
I would not listen to him like i do with pretty much all other songs on a daily basis, I'll need to sit and watch him perform on a screen to get the full experience.
He's so unique in:
- his singing and melody voices --> so particular and delicate, love them
- his talking / rap skills --> velar words and so many different tempos
- his singing overall --> he's able to sign multiple styles so well in my opinion
- not to mention his lyrics --> i mean ... they speak for themeselves
- he himself is such a good actor/performer in his videos
- the cinematography --> as well, it's so on point and so well thought, but simple/minimal at the same time.
I agree with practically all of their comments regardin him and his overall skills (from other videos also), as well as sharing their entusiasm and their amazement as the story (because that's what his songs are) unfolds.
I'm just amused
(side note: sry if my english isn't that good/clear)
You can really see it in his eyes too.
Of all rens songs this is by far my favourite to watch reactions to, I love seeing if people catch everything and how they react... you guys got everything and your reactions were enjoyable to see. It mirrored my own
KYLE “so jennys dead!!!! What the hell!! 😂😂😂
Great reaction guys, this is my fave work by ren, violets tale in particular is a masterpiece x
You made me realize my drinking cups aren't big enough 😂 great reaction, been waiting for you guys to react to this song ❤
Hell yeah!!!! That promo was such a great combination of yalls personalities.
Eric is that a damn vase?!? 😂😂
Good palet cleanser is humble
Jesus christ, my skin hurts from all the goose bumps!
i commented about violets tale half way through the video because i love your guys reactions and i love ren. i didn’t even expect you to react to all 3 in one video !!!!
Great review fellah. Props to Eric for drinking beer out of a vase but it's to be glass to keep the head on the beer.🍻
Love the sponsorship clip. You guys killed it. Great job incorporating your personalities and making it fun to watch.
What a freakin song! I love a good story within the music, and Ren nails it, EVERY TIME!!
Yay! Well worth it :) An added bonus, once you've watched these tales, you'll pick up so much more as you rewatch the story unfold. The layers and details start popping out in vivid colors, just like with the meticulousness Ren uses in his art. ❤❤
This song is such a journey. He truly is a modern day bard, and we are that much luckier to experience his genius. Great reaction vid guys. Subbed.
I thought the exact same thing. Modern day bard for the win.
Holy crap...I have heard this at least 10 times in the past month and never heard (or it didnt register) the "14 years old" line...this changes the entire story. 😮
First time watching you guys and was not disappointed! I don't know how many times I had to pause and jump back to rewatch because Kyle commented on a nuisance of the video, music style, etc, and knowing what was coming thought to myself "oh hon that's just the first one" and it cracked me up😂😂😂
Love everything. about you both; knowledge & sense of humour. Glad I
found you!
The four gun shots with the guitar will never not give me goosebumps all over. Such incredible art
Wonderful heart felt reaction guys! I really like the melody in Violet’s tale especially.
This is a very emotional song, and Ren done an excellent job. It cuts deep! I’m happy you done this reaction. Your reactions were genuine! It brought me to tears. Great reaction Eric and Kyle! ❤
Congrats on that sponsorship!!! You guys are killing it!
Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Its a true story and the news headline was "its such a shame"
Guerilla production is the perfect way to describe his stuff. Love it
Loved your reaction and appreciation of this one - glad you did the full trilogy in one sitting to get the full experience
Awesome reaction👍 It was great watching you guys react to this. It never gets old. Welcome to The RENegades 💪
Great reaction and so pleased you did it , a true classic.
Full on coffee spit choke @ “SO JENNY’S DEAD?!!” Lmffffffaaaaoooo. Excellent.
His skill is masterful and untouched
i love you guys and your pure reactions! both of your voices are so amazing and makes watching your reactions that much better! thanks for sharing with us! sending peace love & light to all!
Awesome reaction! Sooo glad you tackled this one. Peace friends.
Oh, hell yes. Been waitin for this one!
I am insanely glad you've guys have finally had the time to react to this...Ren is amazing and your reactions are also amazing:)
Next is a home depot bucket, then a bathtub or some shit. hah.
😂
Oh gawwd, don't give him any ideas 🤣🤦♀️
