We once took our Hamster on holiday with us in the caravan. They’re nocturnal and it made so much noise in the night we relocated its cage to the car.😂😂
Noting the Avante, the Status Aeriel was pointing the wrong way for travel. It should “point” backwards. Over winter we open all cupboards, lift cushions to allow air to circulate under beds, drop under bed locker doors too. Toilet leave the cassette shutter slightly open so doesn’t stick on the seal.
I think Mark we are in Stagnation as the market is a little bit like catching a falling knife so it's putting people off buying. Therefore that makes the market drop more. I still think that campsite prices are killing caravans. I get you can get cheap ones but many of the more reasonable ones in terms of facilities you can get a travel lodge for a tenner more and no outlay. We did consider going back to a caravan for space but motorhome can get much cheaper pitch prices. Even expensive motorhome dealer up here now has a 196 on for 45K 2019 and your motorhomes are well priced but 10K over so just shows market is continuing to drop. So we have the cash but in two minds whether to buy now or wait till end of Dec/Jan when some dealers will need sales.
We’ve got a dog. Goes on holiday with us. I think the smell of the dog puts the meeces off. We once had one make a nice nest in the front locker in the bird food bag I’d left in by mistake.😂
The electric kit is interesting. When you went round the Knaus Sport & Fun, you mentioned the extra battery but never went into its off-grid potential. Could you do something about off-grid please as most of us caravan people tend to use sites with electric and we might be missing a trick here!
Caught cheating...!! I thought you were joking when you said you went away last week...! like the little mention..'spoke to a couple about the Conqueror...' 👍🏼
I'd be a bit reluctant to put my windows on the vent as Ladybirds seem to use my van for their winter hibernation. Always having to spend the first few trips away at the star of a new season putting them outside
Another informative vlog Mark. Now a question for you... Why would you want to use an oil filled radiator, if you were connected to mains, and not just use your caravans CH on a similar frost protection setting?
It gives the heater more use than is required, so could possibly shorten the life of the heating element. So a cheap heater will save the caravan heater life. 👍
Wow that swift elegance is amazing 😍
Always enjoy your videos. Your doing a nice job with the campervan
Thanks Stuart 👍
My friend's son's pet mouse, Elvis, recently died. It's a touchy subject for him at the moment, as Elvis was caught in a trap.
🙈🙈

Great tip 👍

Yes we will look at something dedicated 👍
🏍️ I've a new word to use😂

Thanks Carl, yes we had a sneaky trip lol. 👍
Are electric dehumidifiers not a thing? Battery capacity presumably being sufficient?
Cheers Mark, didn’t know airplanes had tow bars fitted, 👍👍
Now there is an idea 🤣🤣🤣
@ couldn’t be a fancy caravan though, it would just have to be a plane one 😂🤣.

Only really over night, if you aren't getting any condensation then no need to. 👍

@@thecaravanplace fair point! Given the price of Truma (trauma :)) spares best erring on the side of caution I guess
How are you getting on with the lorry conversation, Mark?
Slowly thanks Colin. It's getting ready for paint at the moment, so it's taking me ages, and not much to video unfortunately 👍
Today youtube audio is lagging behind speech on most channels.
🤣🤣if you slammed my caravan door like you slam yours, you be in the dog house 🙏🤣
I'm always in the dog house 😳 👍
