It's horrific to have your child killed, but to find out they may have been saved is completely disgusting. Every officer hiding and waiting in the hallway should be fired. They're all trained that there is only one action... breach. You don't need a commander for that. Cowards all.

Its a direct violation of the police oath. Besides that...have you ever taken any kind of training? If you haven't, I suggest you look into it. "Waited for a key to a door that wasn't unlocked". WTF...
Let that sink in, and think about it.
And how do we know that the door was unlocked? Because, the locking mechanism would not allow the door to be locked from the inside.
Also, If the door to that classroom was shut and locked. Then, how did the gunman get into that classroom?
It stands to reason that the door had to be shut and unlocked. Also, the gunman knew this because he attended that school.
In addition, aren't the security of those doors the responsibility of Chief Oridondo? Therefore he should have possessed the basic knowledge of how the locking mechanisms of the doors actually worked.
All of these "points of argument", could be verified through surveillance footage.

New photos have emerged showing police waiting in a hallway during the Uvalde school massacre, after the town's mayor defended cops who waited an hour to confront the gunman.
One photo, taken from surveillance video at 12.04pm on May 24, shows police huddled behind ballistic shields just feet away from the classroom where a gunman killed 19 students and two teachers.
It would be another 46 minutes until the heavily-armed police stormed into the classroom, and a total of 77 minutes elapsed between police arriving at the scene and their confrontation with the gunman.
The photos were first published by the Texas Tribune in an article which detailed the agonizing wait and questionable decisions made on the scene by Uvalde School Police Chief Pete Arredondo.
According to the report, surveillance video shows that cops did not attempt to open the doors to classrooms 111 and 112, where the shooter was holed up, during the standoff, contradicting Arredondo's prior claims.

A mother, at least, abused her 2yo daughter right to live by ignorance, got free by a misled cooky jury of 11 jurors in Casey Anthony case. Remember? It scares me that "leave it" be a new norm. Hey, how can a grown man stand outside and listen to those kids cries and screams. To say you have to wait for a commander is bullshit when you listen to those kids. Were any of those cops fathers?. Then to put this on legal gun owners as a way of fixing is a ploy. We cannot trust our government or police anymore.

Red Flag laws violate due process and civil rights. If the person who is able to convince the police to seize a person firearms for whatever reason and found to be invalid. That person needs to be arrested on the spot for filing a false police report.

How about in the meantime (while an investigation is ongoing) we just limit the suspected individual to a revolver (6 round magazine)?

I'm a bit concerned the DPS chief threw the local police chief under the bus so quickly. His first appearance on the news included him saying "Again, I wasn't there" over and over.
At what time did the DPS get there, and seeing nothing happening, why didn't THEY go in and take down the perp?

What happened to the school principal? How about the teacher who left the back door of the school unlocked. Why wasn't protocol followed. I'd fire the principal. Blood on his or her hands.

    • @wchurchill419
      @wchurchill419 Год назад

Apparently the teacher didn't leave the door propped open. She propped it open while carrying supplies in, but when she saw the commotion outside she shut the door. Why it wasn't locked idk. I work at a school and those doors can be keyed down to stay open and they also often don't close all the way unless you pull them shut. If you just let the door go by itself, it often stays open because the door closer wears out over time and also debris builds up in the door way over time.

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV)
Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV)
JESUS LOVES YOU. HE DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT YOU MAY HAVE LIFE.
Please do not ever forget that.
