Rip ludovic woerth you were the best wingsuit cameraman. And have been pushing this sport forward for years you and your experience will be sorely missed
He-Man HeMan Nope hes easily less than a foot from touching snow. Stop it at his lowest point at 1:42... Compare the distance from the snow to how long his body is... hes probably 5'10" or shorter so use that as a scale.
Fuck dude!! Ludo was the best cameraman in this whole industry, no one could capture this sport on camera like him. Haven´t even got to know him, but he sure left a big empty spot in the world... Blue Skies, Black Death.
I'm curious what would have happened if he had actually bit it. That snow looks pretty deep and powdery, and he's obviously coming in at a pretty shallow angle. I think it'd be very survivable (although obviously you'd have to get crazy lucky to get out without serious injury). On the rare occasions when a person's jumped from a plane sans parachute and lived, they did so by hitting snow.
This is too close. Not sure if they slowed it down for decency or a reminder that 150km/hr is too fast to not die--even in snow. Belief is a slippery slope.
Sky's not the limit, the ground is (or at least so they say). Please guys, don't go touching the limits. At least not physical ones. Until you know you have superhuman physical abilities, your Ego might tell you you are invincible but touching the ground while flying the wingsuit, the ground will always win. I mean you know you are good and how many people do you need to convince... how close do you need to fly, to feel alive. I see amazing piloting skills and balls bigger than brains and yet I have a feeling there are a couple of crucial life ingredients missing in this picture. And while passion is one of the biggest forces in human lives it can also make us blind to all the beautiful things around us but the single one we are pursuing.
totally insane! They are so close to the snow, just after they pass the stationary cameraman, and it would be so catastrophic if they actually touched the snow at those speeds. I'm in Awe, but troubled by where this is going. Someone is going to die soon!
Dan Stefan, the sound is not from fighter aircraft... If you actually take a min to look at some other wingsuit flights with no music, you'll hear the sound time again.. Go look at dream lines 5 by jokke sommer, ludos in it as well as the other guys In this video, look for the flybys in the video, always hear that noise
I agree with you on one level, but I disagree on jeb crashing. I would say that jeb only "clipped" his leg on the edge of the cliff, which sent him into a violent spin. He definetly didnt "crash" on those rocks.
For all the technology we have created. We still cant fly like birds. Wingsuits like this come pretty damn close, at least it helps to portray the illusion when flying close to the ground. Its no wonder why many people like this sort of thing, who hasnt ever dreamed of being able to fly like a bird,
No, the fastest speed every achieved (Or at least recorded) is 226 mph in a wing suit. Hitting the sound barrier in a wing suite at that altitude would probably kill you. Only person to break it falling was Felix Baumgartner who basically had to fall from space to do it.
André Salval True, they travel much slower than sound, but those audio effects are real. They're displacing a lot of air as they fly and that's the sound you're hearing
I'm no expert but the flaps of their wing suits may be breaking the sound barrier similar to how a whip cracks. Or the sound bounces off the snow in a weird way. Whatever is happening, it isn't a human breaking the sound barrier.
Rip ludovic woerth you were the best wingsuit cameraman. And have been pushing this sport forward for years you and your experience will be sorely missed
FIP Ludo........you lived your life to the fullest!
This video is complete insane.
I think the title should be more like 'Wingsuit pilot comes 20 cm close to the ground'
He-Man HeMan Nope hes easily less than a foot from touching snow. Stop it at his lowest point at 1:42... Compare the distance from the snow to how long his body is... hes probably 5'10" or shorter so use that as a scale.
mattf2686 Look at the length between him and the ground (that’s the length of one arm.
Honestly, that is too close.
On this occasion he was fortunate. This only happened due to the presence of cameras.
@@steffenfrost995 Yep, and they help crippling neck injuries or if you are injured on-set filming Resident Evil.
new record. ive never seen anything that close
Wingsuit Pilot & Videoman Extraordinaire indeed. Almost touched the snow.!! RIP Ludo, fly forever in the blue sky.
I can't even imagine doing this. Feels like something out of a dream or a film. But people are actualy doing this is amazing.
Quien dijo que el Hombre no podía volar, verdaderamente es un sueño al alcance de muy pocos, gracias por grabar momentos tan maravillosos
THAT'S IT LUDO! You've found THE LINE between crashing and flying! Congrats!!!
Sadly, not.
simply outrageous! I love how a wingsuit just sounds, when a pilot flies theirs RIGHT by your parachute in skydiving as well
ludos stuff was just mindblowing! coolest wingsuiter ever!!
R.I.P
I adore you LE Reddit for once again bringing another fine video to my attention.
Bro ur in every dam coment... I tip my fedora!

Dominic Donahue
I thought Chuck Norris does respawn? Oh sorry right, Chuck Norris dont have to respawn - he never dies. lol
Gave it his absolute all. So much respect.
meravigliosa sequenza d'immagini!!
Epic insane badass shit!!!!!!!! Blue skies Ludo! We miss you!
one of the best flights i´ve seen! R.I.P Ludo, Dan, and the unknown guy.
Incredible footage!
By far most amazing wingsuit video ever! And I've seen them all ! 😉🙂 .. God bless you all! Thank you for bringing this wonderful world on sight !
Flying in a wingsuit has now become one of my top priorities!!!
Then have you become a wingsuit pilot since?
That was amazing looked like crazy fun brilliantly shot and performed.
Fuck dude!! Ludo was the best cameraman in this whole industry, no one could capture this sport on camera like him. Haven´t even got to know him, but he sure left a big empty spot in the world... Blue Skies, Black Death.
I would have never thought that we would be able to do touch&go's with wingsuits so soon.
1:30 WOW SO COOL, I love the perspective.
R.I.P Ludo and Dan, and get well soon Brian. Hoping for a speedy recovery!
All you wingsuit pilots out there, fly safe!
Soo awesome!!
R.I.P Ludo and friends.
This is amazing!
Wing-suit flying is out of my reach for now. Next winter I'm definitely going to give speed flying a serious go.
1:41 was absouletly insane
1:42 - I doubt that was "in control". Four more inches and he would have bit the snow. So worth it though.....amazing....
1:36 where the bell rung you can almost see his oh-shiiit face - on maximum angle of attack and cant go any higher :/
That was so crazy nuts...wow!
There were less than three metres between Ludo and the photographer. Respect for both of them.
I give respect to the wingsuiter who skimmed his knee on the snow
Next Door Gamer
he was also a great man the sadly left this world.
Simply amazing!
Thx 4 the emotion that u gave to me with your line. Rip
Bonjour, toujours au Top.
Davvero INCREDIBILE!!!!!! ESAGERAAATOOO!!!!!
stunning video
O melhor dos melhores!
Spectacular Fantastic - great job
That oh shit moment when you realize you are so close to the ground that you're shadow has just disappeared beneath you!
Pretty Cool! they look awfully low near the end!!
there is no way I can do this, but this was an awesome video
can I watch whole movie on the internet? Looks so awesome!

best extreme video ever..!
Love that I want to try this one day
This is awesome my dad does this
Beautiful...
They just keep upping the antics with proximity flying.
Sooner or later one of them is gonna bit the dust.
This is too close. Not sure if they slowed it down for decency or a reminder that 150km/hr is too fast to not die--even in snow.

Am Still Speechless..! WOW..!
they had them apple bottom wingssss... balls with the furrrrr....
Straight out of a movie
Waiting the next vidéo, the last flight and first crash !
totally insane! They are so close to the snow, just after they pass the stationary cameraman, and it would be so catastrophic if they actually touched the snow at those speeds. I'm in Awe, but troubled by where this is going. Someone is going to die soon!
Wow that was too close! Great vid, ya crazy bastards!
Merci.
Ailleurs
Bonne journée.
Is it ok that I was screaming while watching???????????
Amazing!

They managed to come out alive to make this video, so I guess I should give it a plus. lol
Nice flying and video, doubt that dude was meant to be that close to the deck, inches from death for sure....
Very close indeed, though crashing/landing in deep light snow wouldnt necessarily mean death.
Nicolas FORCET jeb crashed on rock and survived, so crashing on snow wouldnt necessarily mean death as BMFin said,
I agree with you on one level, but I disagree on jeb crashing. I would say that jeb only "clipped" his leg on the edge of the cliff, which sent him into a violent spin. He definetly didnt "crash" on those rocks.
1:42 that dude nearly ended there
Wow.....amazing
Fly Free Ludo youare in a better place now Love you Bro

En leurs hommage: il y a t il des images jusqu'à l'ouverture. ? Parce que c trop bon ça coupe trop tôt
Forever Ludo😇
Fantastico
1:42 I think Ludo won that competition of who can fly the closest to the ground. Holy shit he’s fucking close!!’
1:51 Best sound on earth
Were they travelling faster than the speed of sound? The jet sounds in the last seconds are weird
post production audio effect: they travel around 180 km/hr way less that the speed of sound.
No, the fastest speed every achieved (Or at least recorded) is 226 mph in a wing suit. Hitting the sound barrier in a wing suite at that altitude would probably kill you. Only person to break it falling was Felix Baumgartner who basically had to fall from space to do it.

Are you stupid?
Ludo the best.amazing
:(
Taking the "spray skiers" on a whole new level.
Amazing, but its not the first, i think this was done around the time wing-suiting started already, maybe jean-marc bovin if memory serves correctly?
They look like flying squirrels hahaha Except for the tail... Cuz they don't have a tail.
amazing
they would be the perfect wingmen
How many of those guys are still alive ?
It was Ludo, in the white wingsuit! Holy shit!
BSBD gentlemen. thank you for showing us that the "limit" is just imaginary.
1:42 IS NUTS!
Flying above skiers- that's a thing.
But flying 20cm above ground is awesome!
these wing suits would be an awesome addition to a commando in war.........
Amazing but not the first!
Salomon did this 15 years ago.
There’s a video in here of it.
RIP Ludo :(
Balls of Steel
Rip Dan + Ludo.
What's next? touch and go? :)
Above? At least once one of them was even level with them :)
He just spent a life...
The wingsuit pilots featured in this video burned in today. Your post has proven to be spot on Aleksandar.
damn that dude really cut it close
La vue de Mr Ludo. . Dans les 10 dernière seconde svp
Very Cooool
this blue guy was so close to de grown that's awsome
If they were to hit the snow whilst flying so close to it, would it be certain death?
Impressive! May as well flare it and land it...
How do they land? They seem to fly to close to the ground for parachutes.
RIP ludo :(
Pure adrenaline
