Thanks a lot to everyone for watching my stuff! I`m happy you all actually enjoy watching this strange wingsuit flying ;-) but, thats good for business!
The season is coming to an end and I hope to have some more videos out this fall. Unfortunately, the weather has been really shitty this season, so the ammount of good jumps was a lot less this year.. Anyway, I`m going to China with Jeb Corliss next week so I hope to get some more special footage then :-)
Until then, all the best to all of you!
Your a great guy Jokke You rock you stay safe and dream on strong ! Love and Hugs !
6 years later and still watching in awe mucho love

Years later in 2021, this video and this song still gives me the chills
Same in 23
@@mcjdubpower every now and then I’ll keep humming this song!
Where was this ?
Ive been watching this for years and come back to his videos for the music!
Miss you Jokke love light hug as always Hope your staying safe happy and healthy ! weird stuff ? no awesome dreamer stuff your the best wingsuiter in the world in my personal opinion
This is one the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I honestly don't know how the human mind can comprehend this type of experience. It's like a dream that drifted into reality. It seems so elegant but I am sure that flying that suit is hard and complex work. Just watching the damn video is transcendent! Jokke, thank you so much for demonstrating what is possible and sharing it with the masses...I watch this 20 times a day, completely enthralled!
great music, inspirational person, gorgeous locations.
makes me appreciate the beauty of the world.
The video that started it all.
Jokke and this video introduced me to this crazy world. I remember being in absolute awe of this insane, amazing, and beautiful sport, and was immediately obsessed. It is still the most breathtaking dangerous and beautifully elegant endeavor Ive seen
every time I see this am thinking someone out there is living it up. like that movie point break. p.s. great song
Where's the bloody jokke sommer video with the bob marley song in the background?
He had to delete it because of the music rights
insanely appropriate music
Mt Eden from New Zealand!
Still 1 of my Favorite YT Video!.. Also watch Part 2 with the Nneka Song!
@digitalkicks Actually, that was my first flight there. 2nd jump of the day :-) It was a 20 second setup before I got to the trees, so had plenty of time to calculate where to enter the line. The trees helped a lot since I only had to focus on them, not the skinny powerlines :-)

3. profit...
Thanks a lot for all comments! :-) Happy you like it!
We will start filming for the next Dream Lines movie now. This will be a project together with Red Bull as well, so the quality will be a lot higher ;-) Hopefully close to 30 min long with other experienced flyers as well!
All the best to all of you!
Jokke :-)
The next part of Dream Lines is about to be released! I`m sorry for the delay but due to copyright issues and so on it took some time to get everything done. I have opened a new and more pro RUclips channel that will show all my latest videos one week earlier than on the old channel.
Please subscribe to my new channel to see all my new future videos before everyone else: youtube.c o m/JokkeSommerOfficial
All the best and thank you all for the support!

@djpixu255 I see that you got an answer already, and yeah, every single shot is 100% real! Not even speeded up :-) It`s actually sad that some people think it is fake, not for me, but for them. I dont care, couse I can go up and do this every day. But it is sad for them, becouse they live in their own litle bubble and thinks that Hollywood creates the world. Instead of actually understand that humans have come a far way, and if they want, they can do it themself :-)
@Faria5383 For sure! :-) Simply start skydiving. Take an AFF course. Then after about 250 skydives and 50+ wingsuit flights, you can come to Norway to do the Base course :-)
Wish you all the best on the way to reach your goal! You will make it ;-)
Chopper pilot must be a lot harder...
nerves of steel wrapped in skin and bone.human flight
@blacklighthc This is the skydiving rule. Before it used to be 500 for big suits. Its not much harder. If you dont mind the rule, then 100 skydives is enough for flying intermediate suits, like Phantom 2.
Thanks a lot for the comments! I appreciate them all! I have been flying a bit in France for the last week. Just a few more jumps in the next week or two and I can make a short video with the new suit :-)
Until then, become a fan of my facebook page! :-)
Cheerio!
Jokke :-)
@bangyourmom101 No, you can not gain any altitude. I did it once, but that was becouse of strong winds. Then we flew straight out from the wall to float on the wind. Funny day :-)
@CDMac09 Happy you like it! I do it becouse it gives me the closest feeling of flying. If you fly straight out from the wall, you dont get the same feeling. You need the visual imputs...
@Winterscar1 Depends wich scene you are talking about? My camera is mounted on my body... and my friend Halvor is filming on the outside with a camera on his helmet.
@ProjectRealityBf2 Please download it from my website. Below Videos, there is a button called "Dream Lines". You can download the complete video in HD there :-)
@victav Depends on the suit.. mine is about 1200€. We hike up, every time. Sometimes we use heli, but only for special flights. If good weather, 2-3 jumps a day.
@SteveKarlEdelen I always trust my packjobs.. and the Trango is a great canopy! :-) Not rich, but it does cost a bit with all the training and gear in the start.
@t4paN Please download it from my website. Below Videos, there is a button called "Dream Lines". You can download the complete video in HD there :-)

AWESOME this made my jaw drop an tongue flap out , AMAZING !
@ovidiu90 That is the main idea with the sport of proximity flying. It is all about flying smooth lines with accuracy on the terrain.
@Czcrd I do :-) I live a pretty standard life next to the flying. When I work, I work in a kindergarten :-) Thanks for the comment!
Thanks a lot for all comments and views! :-) I will post something new and exciting tonight! All the best to all of you! Jokke :-)
@r3dshrapnel Halla!
@KurtP00 Vampire is the fastest and best for proximity. Venom is easier to get good glide, but also a bit slower :-)
@MuzaNiatchniuza Its all training... we fly in about 200kmh. The location is Norway and Switzerland :-)
hmmm i need to drink lots red bull :)
I love this video it's my favorite🕵️♂️😎👍✌💖💗
@hotbiscuits93 It depends..but you can start flying wingsuits from the plane after 200 skydives :-)
@MrTolli Tusen takk for det! :-) Go for it! Er nå sporten er på sitt beste :-) Farta er vel rundt 160-200 i horisontal. Men har ikke målt det...
@MrPapergunsmith Yeah..the server has been a bit shit there lately.. just gotta try more. Sorry :/
@Canmx120 Thanks! This was my brake from Motocross, but I still want to ride sometimes :-)
@digitalgt1 No, making contact with the ground or the cliff is impossible for humans..
@rollinpace4lyf A few more flight and I got enough footage to make a short video :-)
@freddyblue50 No, this was done by Red Bull Airforce, JT Holmes and Julian Boulle
@DemiseFromTheSkies Not at the moment... but we will create this in the future :-)
@indaburn Thanks a lot! The speed is about 200kmh. Depends on how steep I fly :-)
@HOLLYWOOD2YOU Thanks John! :-) I use a GoPro HD camera. Tiny with great quality!
2:03 that's between the mountain and some high voltage cables that he's flying
@mefure Hehe, det kan bli litt komplisert :-) Kos deg maks på AFF kurs!! :-) Du kommer til å digge det!
@GRUSuccess Thanks! :-) Thats cool! I wish ya all the best for your jumps! ;-)
@Nomis213 Just download the complete video on my website :-) jokkesommer.c om
I remember this video from 2009. I was doing my own AFF course. Crazy how youtube destroys older videos. This was super high quality and not it is like 360p.
@riso2k44 We always have calm days when we fly this close to the terrain
@morjohnny540 Thanks for the tips :-) Will check it out!
All the best!
@estic2001 Click the link below the Part II video to download it ;-)
@ghostoftylerdurden Haha! Thanks a lot mister! Nice, funny words :-)
@sullivanocean Will do, but go and live your life to the fullest ;-)
@SEL9000 Thanks a lot! :-) I will let you know when thats possible!
@portugeezer100 Thanks a lot mister! ;-) Appreciate your comment!
@jtuki Thanks a lot! I wish ya all the best on your flights! :-)
@EvianKick Du finner den for nedlastning på hjemmesiden min :-) Hele videoen..
@brunosaboia No, we can only glide forward, but not up again...
@RvdWoude Depends on altitude. About 200 kmh and 1 min freefall
@Verichai Thanks a lot for your nice words and description! :-)
@iankaufman80 Read my FAQ page on my website: jokkesommer. c om
@AMentalTaco Never hit the mountain, no. That is not possible.
This needs to be on my bucket list. I'll need a camera and this song when I jump. Shit... Who am I kidding. Am scared of heights!
Maybe I'll go with virtual reality. Baby steps
Thanks a lot to all of you!! :-)
I know I have been a bit slow on the videos so far this year. A lot of bad weather and plenty of work this season! Finally, I got all the footage collected and can start editing the next Dream Lines part! Hopefully it will be my best video so far :-)
Thanks to all of you that shares my videos! Becouse of you guys, I can make a living out of this and becouse of that I will start doing more projects and videos next season!
Follow me on FB for more updates!
If you are going to ask a people with handicap he will say to you that you allready are doing something amazing.
When you will lost it, then you will understand the value of it!
Becca did amazing in her first solo jump! She learned from the best, Brody Cox. Watching her jump in this video and seeing how remarkable her flight was reminds me of my personal awesomeness as well in teaching her the TonySuit basics. God I am so fucking amazing. Brody & Becca Cox 👍🏼👏🏼
@VikingViper Tusen takk for det! :-) Kult å se at Nordmenn digger det!
awesome video i really enjoyed it!!! ive only been skydiving twice and this looks like a whole nother level of adrenaline!!!! i wish i could do it !!!
my friend. I wanna start to do this. What is the best way to start? I never done parachuting. Do you think is necesary to do it before base jump? regards!
@halfshallow Thanks a lot! :-) Really happy you like it!
HOLY SHIT that is fucking insane... me and my brother are thinking about skydiving how much is it to train?
The original non-remix version of this song was the soundtrack of "Mirror's Edge" for Xbox 360 & PS3. Faith was the first, if not the only kick-ass parkour digital heroine.
@oblivionstyzx Thanks a lot :-) 3 to 1 in glide ratio
This would be a great video... if you didn't over-commercialize it with endless distracting logos and icons. It's worse than movies that run credits for the first half hour.
@aintn2it Thanks a lot sir! I will be safe, always!
@crazypianolady Skydiving. AFF is first step... :-)
@eidanchris Takk skal du ha! :-) Kos med maks med hoppinga ;-)
@tmkt55 we have about 200 kmh horizontal speed :-)
@GLASification2006 It all starts with skydiving...
@LethalSystem It becomes natural after a while :-)
It costs money and alot of time, that's why people avoid it, and we obviously have a job, so we can't have enough time to do this.. :(((( Especially me, i've been with Jokke Sommer in real life in Stavanger/Sola Base Jumping in Norway, and it takes MANY hours/jumps and training too.. it's not just jump and controll.
Super.
I love this video... I'm from Canada, and I wanna do this so bad...
But, does anyone know the song name?
@celsinhoenigmantic Mt Eden Dubstep - Still Alive
Is the entire of this video filmed in Switzerland? Not sure if the 3:50 line = Romsdal or not but it seems to me all else is Swiss? Would be very interested to know...
Do you guys jump in the winter in Norway or Switzerland?
@MalarkyMan15 Thanks! :-) About 4 years in total
Really really awesome and Amazing but at the same time so scary for the high among the mountains and the speed that they take in the air and all around, It's a sport very incredible the Windsuit...!!!!!
just fing wow ....words do not do justice ....i discovered you in 2013 and come back and check you out ...if the budddhist are right ill be doing this next life time
@Faria5383 I answered on your other comment :-)
I've never skydived but I can imagine how tired ur arms must be in that squirrel suit. I imagine myself caving and dropping like a stone after my arms can't take it anymore.
