These men are Gods for doing this and i fully understand that if the activity one day kills you to them it was worthwhile to actually feel completely alive for those moments in this sedate reality and existence we live through.
When I saw this video 1.5 years ago, I couldn't believe that this was actually possible in my life span and instantly set this as the ultimate goal in my life! Now I've started skydiving (which itself is already MINDBLOWINGLY AWESOME) and am grinding my way to my first wingsuit; it's worth the effort guys! Just get the right mindset!
this was the second wingsuit video i ever saw. i've seen hundreds since then but this is still my favorite one. the music, the editing, the footage, it's just so beautiful. even though there might be more spectaculare videos out there this is still the best. thank you so much for this and keep it coming. but most importantly don't die please
For me this is the greatest clip on You Tube. The inspiration it provides goes beyond any other effort in any medium. The only drawback is listening to that guy tell you about himself.

Why is that Horvath? You can learn something doing most things if you apply yourself. For some people it is being outdoors, for some it is with a business degree and working indoors in an office. I for one, find no appeal to wingsuit base-jumping, but I respect those who do.

Thus this is the problem; nobody can understand the incredible horror and death that was endued to create such beauty in this video. To answer your question on how long it takes to be able to do this, it’s not so much how long it takes but what it takes. This is a truly beautiful video, and it looks so easy and effortless. But if you are serious about following in their footsteps you need to commit to the following 1. Write your death letter and accept and be at peace with a death from base jumping / wingsuit flying. 2. Be in absolute horrific terror every time you step onto an edge of an exit, and accept EVERY time you do it you will have this terror. The day this terror goes away and you “ get used to it” will be the day you become over confident and die. 3. Accept that you will see friends die and accept that your friends will also witness your death 4. Keep a sample of your DNA as when you “go in” with a wingsuit your injuries will be so horrific that your family will not be able to identify your body it will need DNA identification “ this happened recently with a famous flyer” 5. These guys in the video are the top 0.001%, your teacher will be death, if you’re lucky it will be other peoples. If you are not good enough you’ll know for a spilt second before you impact. 6. You can never make one mistake in this sport, if you are very lucky that one mistake will lead to becoming a paraplegic. There are guys out there who have been in this sport for over 10 years, but talk to any of them and they all say they expect to die doing what they love. ALL of them have seen their closest friends and love ones die. One has seen his friend torn in half, others decapitated, or their face caved in. The guys who brought us this wonderful video have paid a very heavy price to get to this level. The mountains are becoming littered with the crushed corpses of people seeing youtube videos and taking up proxy flying far too early. This may result in exits becoming closed if the death rate becomes too high.
Alex Mazza Alex is right, most base courses will not touch you without a few hundred sky dives under your belt. But still it takes a certain mind to base jump which is an ultra dangerous sport and proxy flying with a wing suit is extreme even for base jumpers. After a couple of hundred sky dives you should be able assess how you react to fear, if you are very lucky you will get a malfunction and you can use this to judge how you perform under fear. You need what Jeb Corliss calls the Gift of fear, being sacred but able to make clear judgments. Its ironic that Australia is one of the most puritanical places on earth when it comes to base jumping and treats jumpers as nothing short of serial killers. Yet Australia has produced without doubt the some of the best jumpers ever put on this planet . Coombesy, Slim and the best base jumper of all time Dwain Weston! Also the best living base jumper Douggs is also Australian, I consider him the best simply because he lived through the crazy period of Dawin, Coombesy and co and is still alive and still flying. It’s Take some incredible skill, not luck. If you want to see how good this guy is, search in youtube Douggs off heading, what would have landed most BASE jumpers a Base fatality number Douggs calmly managed to deal with. Of course the guy could go in any time and he says this! BASE jumpers know they will die, but more importantly the one's still alive have the Gift of fear. You need that if your going to live, the minute you stop getting scared is the minute you'll get a youtube memorial video.

The Alps for sure and for some parts, I am 100% sure it is the French Alps, more particulalry near Chamonix. I recognize the "Vallée du Haut-Giffre" (between the Mont-Blanc and Geneva) in some parts of the video.

Got to respect the guys and gals who have mastered the guts to base jump and then fly the wingsuits. The experience has to be out of this world, as they know they are on the edge of death, with every single jump. Exciting and sad, to think of the gamble they take. Only for very few. Amazing !
This is by far my favorite wingsuit video, I don't know how many times I've watched it but it is so well put together, the music just goes so well with it. You guys live such awesome lives and are so lucky to be doing this, it is something I would really love to oneday if given a chance. Flying is not only a fantasy of mine, but an obsession. These wingsuits are as close as I will ever get to flying. I have no sky diving experience at all, but I am determined to use a wingsuit one day. Time to get started.
I can tell you that the landscapes with the roads going back and forth and those with the steel/brown watch plattforms are the trollstigen in Norway. Prolly some of the other shots too.

Got to respect the guys and gals who have mastered the guts to base jump and then fly the wingsuits. The experience has to be out of this world, as they know they are on the edge of death, with every single jump. Exciting and sad, to think of the gamble they take. Only for very few. Amazing !

This is by far my favorite wingsuit video, I don't know how many times I've watched it but it is so well put together, the music just goes so well with it. You guys live such awesome lives and are so lucky to be doing this, it is something I would really love to oneday if given a chance. I can't imagine that awesome feeling you guys get just jumping off and feeling so free. Thank you for the awesome video❤
Unbelievable and breathtaking what these guys can do...it's definitely by far the most dangerous extreme sport a human can ever attempt.

Flying is not only a fantasy of mine, but an obsession. These wingsuits are as close as I will ever get to flying. I have no sky diving experience at all, but I am determined to use a wingsuit one day. Time to get started.
You have to be a complete nutcase to do this! I bet it gives you an amazing buzz only topped by free falling from the edge of space.

I can tell you that the landscapes with the roads going back and forth and those with the steel/brown watch plattforms are the trollstigen in Norway. Prolly some of the other shots too.
