Did you get there? I also was inspired by vids like this about 5 or 6 years ago. Did my AFF in 2015. 500 skydives now and going on a BASE course in 2 weeks :)

Wow. The only clips of wingsuits I've seen usually involve really open areas, preventing me from noticing how much control one actually has in these things. Those sharp turns are amazing! And at 1:57 it seemed like you even GAINED elevation. This seems less like gliding and more like actually flying!
hey alejandro! glad you like it. i was as close to the ground as i wanted to. normally you plan a line in such a way that it is steeper than your maximum glide performance. this way if it feels right at the moment you can go steeper and get closer. if something is not right you "flare" out and fly higher/further away. so, being close to the ground does not just happen, it's wanted and controlled. at least that's the proper way to do it ;-)

thanks. yeah, it's been in the need for speed mountain trails video and ludovic's videoman episode on epic tv. ludo and me shot this last august. i don't think anybody else has flown it yet. i'm sure this summer some others will attack it ... and they should, it's a lot of fun :-)

your plan should have some margin. then if it feels right you can get closer and lower to the terrain. these wingsuits can be controlled very accurately. of course you have to plan thoroughly and fly carefully the first time so that you won't find yourself in a dead end.
