Just did my first AFF last week, came to search for skydiving videos after it. It was amazing, I wanna do more. Stressed out like hell before the jump, but a sensation nothing like it after the jump. I wanna get back on that airplane and go through all AFF levels. I'm frustrated that I didn't discover it earlier, I'm almost 35 and wasted like 15 years of skydiving opportunities...
I’m 44 and just started skydiving last year. I’m on AFF jump 3 now on my way to get my license. It’s never too late. I found my peace and I found my people. Blue Skies 🤘
There's something about skydiving like this that gives me some sense of true freedom. There's only you and the sky. No war, no problems, no burdens...just sky and peace. Thanks for showing me this message.

Finally, some music that doesn't hurt the ears and distract from the beautiful video! I can't jump, I have had acrophobia from earliest childhood, but I became a GA pilot to help overcome it, and it helped, but I'll never really lose that fear. I feel so free when I'm flying a plane but no sky-diving for me! I bungee-jumped a few times, but as you age, longevity begins to look pretty appealing! I saw a guy stream out once when I was at the airport watching jumpers, there was a flight instructor next to me watching, and when he saw that, he threw down his binoculars and walked off. I watched. I'll never forget it as long as I live! Being medical personnel, I ran to help, but if was no use. Very sad. I always thought if GHW Bush could tandem-jump at age 90, so could anyone, even me! But when I was younger, I took chances, but now, no more! I lived by the ocean and dived, that was also a kind of freedom, but I moved, so no more diving. I ski in the mountains and feel a sense of freedom but no Xtreme skiing for me off cliffs, etc.! Now age 90 looks good, I hope I get there some day!

First jump Sunday at 9am SkyDive Dallas! Tandem for my first ride. So stoked! I haven't been able to stop watching this beautiful video! Love the dub you threw in here as well. Thanks for sharing this!
Awesome video it really shows how fun it really is. Hoping to be in the air by next summer, skipping tandem and will be taking the class A license course instead. I can't wait.
Juan Reyes My first jump was static line jump. It was very weird cos I was not so scared and I don't remember it good in fact. When jump instructor said jump I just jumped - then just nothing, I have hole in the memory until chute opened. Then I did as I was told, checked the canopy, commands and then I looked down and said to myself: why did I do this...my legs and under them 1000 meters. I was kinda scared. Then I jumped again next day, in fact 3 jumps. I was on static line for 10 jumps, and then came my first jump without static line, I even have video somewhere :D. I didn't know where am I, I made 360 turn, left side turn then pulled. On my second jump they said: why don't you pull in the plane :D I lost fear by the 30 th jump and felt secure after 50. Btw. I had reserve on my seventh static line jump. After 100 I felt like Im pro :D
Cool man, sounds like fun. Here you jump 25 jumps to get the license. By the 5 jump you are jumping out solo before instructors. You can do flips, 360s and youre also tracking by fourth jump. I got about a month or two to go before it starts warming up. Right now in Wisconsin is -5 really cold. But im not afraid of the cold. Heres my Email address Freefaller135mph@gmail.com. that way we can keep in touch.
Juan Reyes Nice man :) nicsoew@hotmail.com Im from Croatia, Europe, its also cold here but we made some jumps in January. I can't wait warmer weather, sunny days spent on my drop zone :) Make some pics and vids as soon as you start. I'll try to find that 11th jump video I talked you about.

@@sergeant_dornan_ he couldnt catch it because it's falls way slower than him, so if he didn't grab it right when it came off it's gone. The only reason they can play with the tennis ball is because its weighted to match thier fall rate.

im taking the skydiving class in 2 weeks so excited, to jump and meet new people in my area that jump as well. Awesome video. so far one of my favorites.
***** Haha sarcasm at its finest. I knew someone would do that haha. But I ask this because i am currently in an AFF training course to be certified in skydiving, and according to some rules and regulations they sayyour not allowed to fall through clouds because you never know what is beneath the cloud like another diver, or plane.
***** Its all good man it gave me a laugh haha. But yea the AFF is going good, thank for askin. Its just annoying sometimes because they wont let students jump under certain weather conditions so sometimes i cant jump when i want to, otherwise its great! Cant wait till i can go jump on my own whenever i feel like it.
Hunter Wow that sounds great, its cool you have a wind tunnel at your convenience, i wish i could try one of those out im sure they're great practice. But good for you man keep a focused mind and you'll be fine through out the AFF.

11 year old video and still shows up on my feed, it was a huge motivation to start my skydiving journey, lost count of how many times I watched it 💪🏻
humans are awesome
missgebr0 t sloths are better
Came back constantly, still one of the best skydivevideos so far 👍🏼
Skydiving is f***ing awesome!! Awesome video!
Did my 1st skydive a couple of days ago - just mind bending, changed my perspective. Thanks for sharing your memories Dex, they are very inspirational dude.
Those all black helmets/facemasks look badass! Gotta get one of those someday.
i just started skydiving, had my first solo jumps today! i love the passion i feel while watching this video now. thank you and blue skies! 🤙🏻
5:49 what happened to the boat?
Probably went the same way as the ones used by some mates doing a re-make of the lonely planet tune

This video seriously gave me the last push to get into skydiving and now I have started I can't stop !!!! LOVE IT !
1st song: Lindsey Stirling - Crystallize
2nd song: Intense - Dawn (Original Mix)
I start my skydiving training tomorrow. I was hella scared, and then i watched this video. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
Really - ...words weak. Amongst the clouds in big blue sky, the only place true answers lie!
I´d really like do this some day!
This is easily one of my favorite RUclips videos. Great job, Dexter! Brilliant perspectives,,, Plz post more soon =)
My life sucks.
hang in there buddy
+Red Well i give you two options to change this situation.
1- Change your team to Bayern München
or
2- Start Skydiving
See ya in the skies
+GpKruel so true ;)
+Red Do something about it! It's easy to make excuses and keep living the same life. I decided to finally take the plunge earlier this year, put a couple grand on a credit card and I got certified. You'll never look back.
What we see :
Higher in the comments there is 14 years old girl, who saved her money and jumped with a chute.
Here we have a looser, who probably didn't pay any effort to make his life better. No one will do anything for you, get your ass up and do something. You look pathetic.
So emotional because seen a whole bunch of similar comments and got sick.
I loved this video. I am still a student Skydiver and I am looking forward to memories with my new friends at are drop zone like the ones you have Dexter. Blue skies Dexter and all you skydivers out there.
someday Ill do it...
It's inspiring to know that these experiences are possible, so thank you for sharing.
Did my first jump today! It was amazing, no words.
Hopefully one day I can get to this level. :)
well its been 6 years anything?
This is so inspirational. I've spent years wanting to skydive and I'm finally doing my first tandem jump in two days. If I like it I'm gonna get licensed to do solo jumps.
OMG I am sooo FKN PUMPED !!! I go skydiving next Sunday for my 1st time.. and I have a feeling it won't be my last !!
i hope so :D
mantas kaupas Well I made my 1st jump... wasn't as sweet as yours , but your video def makes me want to get licensed.. which will be done next year !!! BTW.. video is on my channel.. don't wanna be a douche and link it !
I have a strong feeling I should skip a tandem jump and go for AFF immediately. Maybe I'm wrong? :D
I havent tried tandem. I went straight to aff. Its more scarry, more adrenaline, and that feeling of accomplishment !!!! :D
I was wondering has anyone skipped tandem jump. Because people told me I should first do a tandem to make sure that is what I want but I feel like already know I want to do this and no doubt about it. Tnx for reply mantas kaupas :D
First jump Sunday at 9am SkyDive Dallas! Tandem for my first ride. So stoked! I haven't been able to stop watching this beautiful video! Love the dub you threw in here as well. Thanks for sharing this!
damn, the best skydiving photo of internet is on 6:24, EPIC
HELL yeah!
YEAH I WAS LIKE NO WAY! Famous even 5 years later....
original.
where
I have only did 2 tandem jumps, but at 65 years old, it is the most awesome thing I have ever did, this is such a beautiful video !!
Did anyone else notice the close call at 6:03?
Awesome video it really shows how fun it really is. Hoping to be in the air by next summer, skipping tandem and will be taking the class A license course instead. I can't wait.
do it man, it will be best decision in your life and don't quit as its scary when you start :D
Linus whats cracking man, just read your post. By the way how does it feel when you jump for the first time???
Juan Reyes
My first jump was static line jump.
On my second jump they said: why don't you pull in the plane :D
I lost fear by the 30 th jump and felt secure after 50.

Nice man :)

Im from Croatia, Europe, its also cold here but we made some jumps in January. I can't wait warmer weather, sunny days spent on my drop zone :)
Make some pics and vids as soon as you start.
I'll try to find that 11th jump video I talked you about.
The music 👍
Going to start my skydiving journey this week, I felt excited but a bit scared and now this video totally killed the fear!! ahh that beautiful freedom... thanks so much for sharing
Sounds cold but good luck and blue skys!!
Chris Welch it was very very cold I couldn’t feel my fingers once I landed 😂 but ohh so worth it!!
hahahaaa....just pause @ 5:47 ..the guy who was sitting at the back of that tube boat lost his camera.
bye bye 100$.
He could`ve catched it.Just like playing with tennis ball)
Sam N so u are 16. Now. How was your tandem jump
@@sergeant_dornan_ he couldnt catch it because it's falls way slower than him, so if he didn't grab it right when it came off it's gone. The only reason they can play with the tennis ball is because its weighted to match thier fall rate.
Jeremy Boyes hah, hello there my 5 year old comment. Don’t know man, skydivers can change their body position to adjust air flow to slow/accelerate their descend rate. We will never know if he got it or not :)
@@sergeant_dornan_ that's very true they can their fall rate, but even with the most efficient slowest belly flying position... it would be completely impossible to match the fall rate of a gopro camera... trust me I'm a proffesional skydiver. ;)
I saw this video 9 years ago. It inspired me to this day to someday get my skydiving license. Im on it. Thanks for the video, Dexter. I hope you made good memories in the last 10 years.
yeah you got line twists but don't lose my tennis ball! lol
Love this video!!! Keeps me motivated for the winter!!
There isnt a day this winter I havent thought about skydiving....blue skies for 2014 everyone!!!
2:16 looked like they were in the heavens
I was dreaming about beeing a skydiver when I was 14 y/o and 13 years later, I can say I'm in the skydive family since 2 years now, got 70 jumps and it's always an amazing experience to jump off a plane... this video almost made me cry, it represents so well the "'why I skydive"... thank you so much for the video !
5:45 Bye-bye GoPro
:) kkkkkk
.
What is this camera? Do you know?
One of my favorite videos on the internet. So glad this exists
Guys, have you learned nothing is school? A water melon a tennis ball and a cannon ball will all dro at the exact same rate
Wrong I'm sorry
maybe at those heights yes, because the objects are able to hit terminal velocity but otherwise no.
a watermelon would never fit in a vacuum
.. its a joke btw
Beautiful video, smiles on all their faces. Can't wait until I can do it.
How many times have you watched this video? Im at about 50.
cranester386 Hey do you skydive yourself?
I'm at about countless! 😀
How could anybody dislike this!? The way the music adds to the video is fantastic. One of the sickest videos I've seen in a long time keep it up!!
Am I the first to have this in my recommendation in 2019?? Here are just 2015 comments
Well then I am the second. 2020 in 10 days.... RUclips needs to work on it's recommendations+
@@saintserenity5448 true
im taking the skydiving class in 2 weeks so excited, to jump and meet new people in my area that jump as well. Awesome video. so far one of my favorites.
I thought you weren't able to fall through clouds.
Alex Mazza Oh wow that is good to know thank you Alex. also thanks for the good luck i appreciate it bro.
Alex Mazza Yea absolutely, if we further our knowledge about the sport then it will only get more safe for everyone.
Hunter Wow that sounds great, its cool you have a wind tunnel at your convenience, i wish i could try one of those out im sure they're great practice. But good for you man keep a focused mind and you'll be fine through out the AFF.
human airplanes!!!! the real super hero's...i cant wait to do this!!!! looks like its so much fun especially with your crew or circle of love/true and real friends!!
