My 2016 challenger was having the exact same issue!! I changed the right bulb, but the light wouldn't turn on some times, until it just stopped working. I was about to remove the whole front bumper to replace the ballast until I saw your video! You saved me time and money, thank you!!

I bought the bulb before I saw this, but your video should be in a Special category, because this is one of the most helpful video I've seen.

I feel like such an idiot, had same issue with my charger. Changed the bulb and used dielectric paste on all the connectors. Never once thought to check the fuse/relay since it was sometimes still working. Thank you a million!

I had the same issue and bought HID headlights on Amazon, the same light that’s out on your car was out on mine. After changing the bowl, I got nothing. My light has been out for about a year now and I just found this video. Went out to the car took out the fuse and it was burnt. I just changed it and they’re both working perfectly. Thank you for saving me money on a new ballast!

Love it man, I just got 2 HID lights for $300 replaced both of them & the right one was still tweaking 😂😅. Guess I should've found this video first. Appreciate the time you took to inform us of this inexpensive fix to a very important necessity to our daily lives 💯 ✊🏾

I just changed my bulbs to no avail. My fuse, however, looks just like yours. Thank you so much!

Had the same issue, went to a shop and since they didn't pull the fuses out they tested "ok" with a light probe.
After watching this, I got to check to actually confirm it was the same, 2 fuses burnt probably due to the high consumption of the factory HIDs.
I only overspent on 40 bucks on a ballast controller that will now live in the spares bin.
    Thank you for sharing,
    Cheers!

Helped resolve the problem. Thanks for posting this man! Was worried it was the ballast because the HIDs are less than a year old.

Had the same issue on my 2016 SRT Challenger 392, and couldn't figure it out. Random outages, first left, then right, then both worked, then neither. Bought some new HID bulbs on Ebay, had a local garage install them - $200 for labor alone. Two weeks later, problem starts again. Then my wife found your video 🙂 We went outside that night to pull the fuses and check them - They were both cooked, exactly like yours! Changed the fuses next day and haven't had a issue with the lights for a month now. Thanks for the video, you saved us from another trip to the garage to spend money we don't have to fix something they couldn't figure out on their own!

Man from one owner to another. Crazy how that voltage cooks the fuses

Thanks for this! Just pulled the fuse out and it looks just like your burnt one. Replaced it and it's good to go. Almost bought a new ballast, phew!. After reading some forums, every person said it was the passenger side only (mine as well). Weird.

Thanks for the info! My wife just got a ticket for the light being out, in AZ motor vehicle have to have to working headlights (I guess my motorcycles aren't motor vehicles); I wonder why, if it's so important to have two lights that a cop doesn't help out by checking the fuses before writing a ticket. Some of y'all remember when a cop would have helped, prtect and serve...hmmm

Thanks. Wish I saw this before I replaced the HIDs. Replaced the fuse but why did this happen? Especially since the piece that should burn out in case of an over voltage did not. One more thing Dodge needs to fix.

This is a temporary fix, I want to know what the underlying issue is that is popping the fuse. Hellcat will be okay for awhile after replacing the fuse then blow again some months later. Getting old.
